this monitor has major banding for about 1 day I thought I was gonna have to return it but everything is great now. This monitor is a best when it comes to 1440p. I’m running a rtx 5080 with 7800x3d. I get amazing frames. On once human I’m getting 490 fps. Bf6 I get up to 404fps maxed out graphics. I wasn’t a huge fan of frame gen but with this new update it feels native now. Super low latency. Dynamic frame gen has made everything super high frames. Calibrate your monitor for the best results. Calibrate hdr on window setting and bump up the contrast a tad bit for the ultra punchy colors everything looks authentic but ultra punchy. Pixel clean is a life saver

I’ve gone through a lot of gaming monitors over the years, and this is easily my favorite. The picture quality is unreal. Colors look vibrant, blacks are actually black, and everything just pops. The first game I launched made me realize how much I was missing on my old monitor. Gaming feels incredibly smooth, especially in fast paced shooters. Everything responds instantly, and the motion is so clear that it’s hard to go back to anything else. The 27 inch 1440p size also feels perfect for sitting at a desk. I was a little hesitant because of the price, but after using it every day, I don’t regret buying it at all. The silver design looks even better in person than it does in the pictures, and the monitor feels really well made. If you’re building a high end PC and want a monitor that actually matches it, this one is worth it. It’s expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for. I would buy it again without thinking twice.

I’ve gone through quite a few different setups over the years, starting with ultrawide gaming monitors, then moving to an LG CX 48", and most recently an LG C5 42". I’ve always preferred larger OLED displays for gaming, but I play a lot of competitive titles and decided it was finally worth trying a monitor specifically designed around high-refresh competitive gaming. After spending some time with this ASUS, I’m genuinely impressed. The 540Hz refresh rate is honestly unreal. I was a little skeptical about whether I would actually notice a meaningful difference compared with the displays I was coming from, but the overall responsiveness and smoothness are immediately noticeable. I’ve especially noticed the difference in competitive games like CS2, where quick reactions and tracking matter so much. It has made the competitive gaming experience feel noticeably better for me. The picture quality is also excellent, and I really like the overall aesthetics of the monitor. It looks much more premium in person than I expected, and the OLED panel delivers the kind of image quality I’ve become accustomed to with my LG OLED displays. One thing I did notice initially was some gray banding, but after a few days of normal use it completely went away. At this point, it’s essentially nonexistent and I haven’t had any concerns with it. There’s no getting around the fact that this is an expensive monitor. The price is definitely steep, but you’re also paying for some pretty cutting-edge display technology, especially the combination of OLED, 540Hz at 1440p, and the ability to go even higher in the lower-resolution mode. For someone who primarily plays casual or single-player games, I’m not sure I could justify the price. For competitive gaming, though, I think it makes much more sense. Overall, I’m extremely impressed with this monitor. Coming from high-end LG OLED televisions, I wasn’t expecting to be this impressed by a dedicated gaming monitor, but the 540Hz refresh rate has genuinely improved my experience in competitive games. If you’re serious about competitive gaming and want every advantage you can reasonably get, this is a monitor I would highly recommend. The combination of responsiveness, OLED image quality, and high refresh rate makes it a very impressive piece of technology.

No issues whatsoever. 540hz with this level of color quality and brightness is just unbelievable. A pure pleasure to look at and game on everyday. The glossy coating is also beautiful. It’s truly and end game monitor for 1440p gaming right now. I’ve had mine about a month and absolutely love it. Coming from a 240hz OLED that’s about 1.5 years old, the tandem 4th Gen OLED makes it look almost like a different technology entirely. I primarily play CS2, and with a 4080 and 9850X3D I’m pushing 500+ frames at 1920x1440 4-3 stretched. Feels like a dream. Single player AAA titles like Cyberpunk with everything maxed out almost looks like it was from the future. I’ve never in person seen this level of detail and color quality. This monitor has the capability to get brighter than you absolutely will ever need it. If they weren’t nearly $1200, I’d buy a second to replace my older monitor 2nd monitor, but they’re worth every penny. Personally I don’t use the 720p 720hz mode, the drop off in resolution is just too much for me. Kinda pointless feature for most users I would imagine, but it’s there for those that want it. 10/10 for me. I have no grey banding issues whatsoever, and have had Asus monitors and components for years, and have had nothing but good things to say. Coming from a monitor that wasn’t quite at this level of a “flagship”product, it’s mind blowing to use this thing everyday.

Best monitor I’ve used so far to this day. The 540hz is real smooth and the colors and brightness is great. This is the endgame monitor at this date and time. Will keep this monitor and purchase a 4k oled monitor for single rpg games and also for desktop work. (Buyer beware vertical grey banding is a thing. Doesn’t bother me much as I only use this monitor for competitive FPS games.)

Incredible images that this monitor highlights, the colors are vibrant and the Tandem Oled technology is the best with the bright screen, no white dots on the screen as it happens with the QD oled. My unit does not bring noticeable gray bands probably it is because of the new update, I recommend them.

I’ve been extremely impressed with this monitor. The OLED display delivers incredible colors, perfect blacks, and amazing contrast. The 540Hz refresh rate makes gameplay feel unbelievably smooth, especially in fast-paced FPS games like Call of Duty: Warzone. HDR looks fantastic, input lag is virtually nonexistent, and the overall build quality feels premium. Setup was easy, and the picture quality exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this monitor to anyone looking for one of the best gaming displays available today.

Very nice product. No problems whatsoever. If you’re willing to spend the big bucks for the best of the best, then it’s a perfect fit. However, if you don’t have a top of the line pc, like at least a 5070 TI, then you’re probably not going to utilize this monitors 540 refresh rate. And there’s other monitors that are cheaper and may fit your pc’s specs better. Overall, if you have the money and a good enough pc or you just want to future proof, then this is the best money can buy at this time.

I was very happy with this product so far. true glossy black oled pannels have been something that i feel in love with and dont see myself without anymore. If you are on the fence with buying this monitor or a parent thinking about buying for their child I will give one piece of advice. Unless you can run the games being played at these refresh rates its not worth it and will be like 95% of game you play you cant run at this refresh rate. So unless you have a RTX 5080 OR 5090 I dont think this monitor is worth for your average buyer and its not that much of an increase compared to a 240hz display or 360hz display. DONT LISTEN TO THE YOUTUBERS they tend to overexaggerate in their reviews for clicks and affiliate purchases. There are some CPU heavy games you can play more on like CSGO or Valorant that this monitor is obviously more made for but still i think its worth noting that most people will not get this performance and dont fall for the hype unless the price is below $850 its not worth IMO. I have enjoyed it since I play these games and my GPU and CPU can run it I really bought it because I just wanted to have a high end monitor and see how far I can push my 5080. I also bought it because I have had the same monitors for like 8 years and was due for an upgrade.

The 540hz mode is extremely smooth and responsive, and looks great at 1440p. I don't find myself using the 720p 720hz mode very often due to the quality, or lack thereof, but it is fun to mess around with from time to time and still offers a noticeable improvement in smoothness over 540hz. Upgraded from the Asus 1440p 360hz QD-OLED, and I can say it was worth every penny. Mostly playing Counter Strike, and it handles it flawlessly.

I’ve gone through and owned many oled monitors and nothing even comes close to this one. The colors are immaculate, while the 720hz only works on 720p i find it not that noticeable in many games

The monitor is top of the line. Coming from a matte finish monitor the shiny finish took some time to get used to

Beautiful picture I went from a Samsung neo g8 mini led and this monitor blows that one out the park. Better contrast better hdr performance and best of all deep blacks for the dark scenes. Can’t go wrong with this oled as it boasts a 60% more life than last gen and better peak brightness so the image will look as intended I have no issues with mine.
