Too many people are hating on this monitor in the reviews. Do yourself a favor and get this monitor if you're looking for a high-end monitor and if you have the money. This monitor is amazing for both gaming and editing. I have been playing BF2042 on PC at 144Hz and Ratchet and Clank Drift Apart on PS5 at 120Hz. I had no idea how much I was missing out not having HDMI 2.1. Originally I was looking for the LG 27GP950-B but was never able to get it, so got PG32UQ instead. A bit more in price but definitely worth the buy!

I cant express how disappointed I am with this monitor. On paper it seems to fit a perfect segment of price, specs and performance but it does not deliver as promised. This is my second monitor that has failed. The first would randomly black in and out constantly. This was with new cables using display port 1.4 on a new evga 3080. The second monitor has done the same. In addition I discovered that it is not possible to display 4k 120 at 4:4:4 or 4:2:2 (even with DCP compression on) on the Xbox series X as the monitor will get stuck in a boot loop. Even after all of that I was still hoping that a firmware update would fix the problems but this morning I came down to a totally bricked screen. It will not power on, at all. Here is the kicker, when I tried to contact ASUS chat they outright refuse to connect and instead sends me back to the retailer. Which leaves me no recourse but to return it and start over.

I have been waiting so long for this monitor and I'm quite displeased with it. Colors are bright and vibrant out of the box. Size is perfect. That's about it. It's a huge pain to plug in cables in the back of the monitor when it's set in place already - the lip for the recessed cable area is too close to the plugs, so thicker cables are a bear to bend into place. It's large and unwieldy to move around with limited space to easily access the back. The DisplayPort cable that came with the monitor was DOA. Tried it with my work laptop's dock: no signal. Other port: no signal. Plugged it into my 2080Ti on my desktop: no signal. Other port: no signal. Swapped cables and it worked fine on all ports. Speaking of ports, as soon as you turn the monitor off, they're all powered down, too, so your PC doesn't detect a monitor at all. Normally not a problem, but I like to use Steam Remote Play from time to time and, ooh boy, did it not like not having a monitor detected. So much flickering and stutter. Unplayable. As I was working on trying to keep the ports powered with the monitor off, I found multiple options greyed out in the OSD. Some would turn back on by disabling other settings, but things like DDC/DI I could not get into no matter what I changed. And then I saw the stuck pixels. Now, I've had this monitor for three days already and have been using it for work and games since. No issues. Suddenly, a stuck red pixel near the center of the screen. Ran one of those online pixel fixers (the multi-color high frequency flicker things) for an hour. The red is still there, and now a green has shown up about an inch away from it where the fixer wasn't even covering. I own multiple ASUS monitors -PG348Q, PG349Q, and a PG248Q and have no issues with those at all. ASUS mobo, GPU, AIO cooler, no problems. Three days and two stuck pixels, I'm kind of concerned how many more will show up over the next week, the next month.

It was 5th monitor I went through. I think I'm done with ASUS. Imagine buying 1000$ monitor that is guaranteed to have issues. Three monitors had stuck red pixel in center area, one of the monitors also refused to update to v024. Just restarts on each attempt. Two monitors had 2-3 particles of dust or whatever between the screen and outer layer. I'm not even talking about backlight bleeding or anything. Asus Support is useless - their online automated chat system has no straightforward way to reach monitor department. Panel lottery is a thing, but with this monitor it is just a defective products ride.

Yea it’s 4k n high frequency n all. But. Just wasn’t what I expected. I swapped for a gigabyte F048U and will swap to a c2 or c3 by next year probably. OLED is my preferred choice.

The monitor worked for one day before starting to randomly turn off every few seconds. The exact same problem many other reviewers are mentioning. I think it is clear Asus knowingly and maliciously sold monitors with quality control issues. After further research it is clear this a problem across several of their products right now. With how many reviews have mentioned this exact problem I believe Asus knew about this and sold these anyway. I will be purchasing the Acer - Predator XB323QK from Best Buy to replace this. Assuming it works I will not be looking back at an Asus product ever again. Quality control is so important for customers as I am out 1000 bucks while I wait for the return to process. With how many reviews are mentioning this exact issue its clear Asus did not perform due diligence on their quality control. If I did not have the extra cash on hand I would be in trouble as I purchased this monitor for work as well as play.

    Randomly restarts, unusable

Starting from the day I got the monitor, it sometimes randomly restarts. Like, not disconnect and reconnect, it looked like it crashed and restarted with the ROG logo on the screen. In the first couple of days, it does this about 3-5 times a day, which is well, not ideal but usable. And since about an hour ago the issue starts to happen like literally every 1-3 minutes, making this product not even usable. I tried everything in the past 3 days. I changed ports, cable, computer (tested with both a 3080 and 2080Ti), tried 3 different firmwares, upgraded gpu driver and VBIOS, tried god knows how many setting combos, and nothing freaking worked. Then I did research. And learned from some Chinese forum(ngabbs, and this product was released earlier in China it seems, thus more user reviews) that I am not alone, and PG32UQ in general is just not the best QC'ed product out there. With this and my PG279Q having bright spot only 2 years since purchase. I'm gonna stay the f away from ASUS monitors from now on. And you should too.

Good colors, it's like I'm seeing the color orange for the first time. You could tell that it's HDR. I use it to play Battlefield 2042 and it's paired with a 6900 XT. I leave it on factory settings haven't changed anything on it. Runs at 144Hz. It has speakers built in. The speakers are just OK. I also use it to watch movies. It's a whole new world coming from a Samsung 28in LCD from like 10years ago. I haven't experienced any of the problem that people say in the reviews. I also have this monitor turned on for long periods of time. Like 10hours straight, movie after movie, even have it on for 24hours without turning it off. Everything runs perfect.

Where do I begin? This is my second PG32UQ monitor, first one came in with damaged display, the second one worked for 3 hours and started flickering and turning off and on, so I decided to swap out the display cable that seemed to fix the problem temporarily and monitor would start flickering when I would adjust the Hight and tilt, so I decided to flash new firmware and that didn't help ether. Next morning monitor turned on it's own and started flashing different colors red, blue, yellow and so on. I turned the monitor off, when I tried to turn the monitor back on it was not turning on. Very poor quality and I heard similar experiences from other consumers online. I don't know what happened the box was kind of beat up, maybe it was dropped during shipping. I ordered same monitor form different retailer fingers crossed it will not be damaged.

This is a great true 10 bit panel but at the price point there are a few issues that I ran into that were unacceptable, there was a ton of backlight bleed that I could mitigate with the local dimming, but the only problem was when local dimming was enabled it threw thin green bars on the sides of the image, this might have just been a defect with my particular unit, but they were sold out when I returned mine so I had to go with something else.

Really wanted to like this monitor, but I too ended up with a defective model. When connected for PC gaming (via DisplayPort), would start powering off then back on randomly after several hours of use. I even updated the firmware from v013 to v024 (HDR fixes,e tc). No luck. Had it on standby, overnight. Woke up to the monitor at full brightness cycling through colors (i.e. similar issues to other purchasers here). Didn't retain my User Settings at all. Had to return to the store. Additionally, the power, HDMI, DisplayPort, and other inputs allow very little give for cables going into them (have to insert them upward/vertically).

I ordered the Asus Rog 32 inch based upon the 600 HDR, most reasonably priced for the specifications. Opened it and had a blast, no issues. Turn it on the next day, nothing. No light, saw a spark when plugging it in but it wouldn’t turn on. I was skeptical based upon previous reviews as I know electronics can be defective sometimes, so I had to plug in my 2k Asus Rog monitor and had to return this monitor. I’m disappointed, guess it’s time to try Samsung.

I really wish I could give this monitor a 0 rating. A 1000$ monitor should be flawless, it should not have problems such as a thin green light going across the top of the monitor or screen tearing at 120/144hz at 4k resolution. Interestingly, the screen tearing was gone at 100hz at 4k, however, it defeats the purpose of the monitor. In addition, the monitor would not initially turn on for 10 minutes when I first plugged it in, I let it sit there and turned on by itself. It also, did multiple power cycles (restarting by itself) for the next 15 minutes. So many issues but this device really underperformed

Amazing Monitor some of the best color accuracy I have seen from a screen outside of an OLED. The 4k and HDMI 2.1 was the selling point for me. Wanted something a little bigger then a 27". The only complaint is the weird mounting brackets if your not using original stand, I wasn't able to pull pull up manual on Asus website either.
