Computer is great, lightweight & it does the job in a small package. Only main concern is how loud the fan is and how hot the computer can get but that can be adjusted in the settings. Overall I love this computer

Great portability and power. Seriously, this runs everything I throw at it with Ultra settings no problem. Although I use a frame limiter and limit my fps to 60. If you are thinking about getting this you should go ahead and make that purchase.

Great looking portable laptop. Nice display but too small for my taste so wont bash it about that. Runs hot. Fast though. Bought in December 2021. Now is July 2022 and wifi is no longer working even after a full factory reset. Time to call asus.

    Poor WiFi ruins it all

There were so many things that I wanted to like about this purchase but a faulty wireless ruins it all. I purchased this unit as a graduation present for a high school grad. It appeared ok for the most part as he was able to use it around the house some and said games were doing great on it. About 3 weeks of using it and he stated that the WiFi kept going in and out. He stopped using it and we did not think about it much. Now he is in college and the wifi keeps dropping all over campus. Connected for about 10 mins then drops. It will eventually reconnect and then about 30 mins later it drops again. Starting college can be very stressful without having to deal with what should be a very good computer, but becomes unusable as all class work requires internet activity and this machine will not stay connected. Of course we are past our return window and the issue is sporadic so "repairs" only seem to work until it does it again.

Really wanted to like this laptop. Its build quality feels nice and the screen is awesome, it's just a tad noisy and gets hot for just having a 3060. I get it, it's a gaming laptop, bit my Blade never got this hot on my lap or table...

I've had several of the 2021 G14 models (1080p & 1440p). Great screen, keyboard, performance and build quality!!! The screen is far superior on the 1440p model with no screen back-bleed and great colors. For a graphic designer/gamer this machine rocks, and you can't beat the price. If you're considering which model to get and you're worried about the "QC" screen issues, I cannot recommend the standard 1080p model as 3 of them had terrible back-bleed problems. Both of the 1440p models I bought had zero problems at all.

Love this little laptop! Only wish it was in the black color as ultimately the white and silver were why i returned it. The battery life and performance are amazing and the keyboard and trackpad are great as well just wish the trackpad was bigger. Plays anything on game pass with no problem.

Portable beast. Handles almost everything I throw at it with ease. Had to return because of the coil whine issue. Moreover, I just realized Best buy is taking so long for a refund. It's been a month since I returned my laptop. Not really satisfied with the service.

Simply put, this is the best 14" gaming laptop within a reasonable price range. You can get a little better performance from a Razer Blade 14. But the inflated price tag is a bitter pill to swallow. First, the not so good... The G14 packs a lot of high-end components into a small, slim chassis. This results in limited space for cooling and it does run a bit hot. 80*C+ for the GPU and 90*C+ for the CPU can be expected in the heaviest gaming and similar loads. That's high, but within specs. And even keeping it in that range takes some high RPM from the fans, and it's therefore a bit loud when you really load it up. The keyboard backlighting isn't great, with lots of light bleed and white-on-silver providing weak contrast. Now for the good... This thing is a solid performer. The CPU is straight up top notch for a laptop as well as the integrated Radeon graphics. Expect to play 5-8 year old games with good settings and high frame rates even with the NVIDIA GPU disabled. The RTX 3060 is good for any modern games with mid to high settings enabled at 1440p. The machine has excellent speakers, a fantastic (though a little small) track pad, a good typing experience, a vibrant and crisp screen, compact portability, and huge battery life. I can squeeze 10 hours on a charge doing web and document work with the screen at about 50% brightness. For a gaming laptop, that's a dang miracle. TL/DR - this laptop offers amazing portability and battery life, making minimal sacrifices to performance and cooling. Perfect for someone who is frequently computing on the go.

This is the first gaming pc I've ever purchased, and I love it. The thing that sticks out about this the most is the display. It's absolutely gorgeous. Crisp, clear, bold colors, and seamless scrolling. I love the feel of the keyboard. I've only run a couple of games on this so far, and it definitely heats up, but the fans seem to do a decent job of keeping it cool while not being overly noisy.

So far, we are thoroughly enjoying this laptop. The display is small, making it easier to transport. It has nice graphics for the gaming programs we enjoy playing, while maneuvering simple programs some as Microsoft Office smoothly and easily. Im not a huge fan of the font for the lettering on the keyboard, but that is really just a prefernce thing- not a big deal. I dont know much about computers, but it is doing what we need and has been reliable so far.

Great gaming laptop at an affordable price compared to others - especially if you can get it on sale. Extremely lightweight and portable - I usually travel with this laptop as well as my MacBook Air for work and have no issues fitting both into a standard sized backpack - never feels to heavy or cumbersome. I use it mostly to play Call of Duty Warzone and GTA V - for both games on mostly high-very high settings it gets me around 80-100 FPS without any trouble. Turning down the settings to Medium-High gets you well over 100 FPS without issue. This laptop does run hot because of the AMD CPU, so I highly recommend looking up online tutorials on how to combat this. For me, this involved turning off CPU boost (lots of online articles have a step by step guide on how to do this) and then using Asus Armoury Crate in manual mode to undervolt the CPU. I personally set the SPL and SPPT values to 30W (default manual mode has both of these set to the max 80W). After making these changes, my CPU temps went from 95-100C while gaming to a very steady 78-82C - a huge difference in temp and no loss in performance.
