Best starter laptop it’s incredibly fast and has amazing graphics. Even for normal office use it’s amazing

I got an open box excellent condition. I was supposed to receive the 2021 G14 but instead got last years. To add to that it was absolutely dirty and not factory reset. Aside from that its a fantastic system. Like other Zephyrus or gaming laptops, it needs some tinkering around before its ready for daily usage but once its set, it is an absolute pleasure to use. Obviously i returned it, but if it were the product i ordered in excellent condition i would of kept it for sure.

I like it. pretty compact and lightweight and does the job on budget.

Overall, this is a great laptop and a great compromise between gaming performance and portability. There are a few cons that I would note. The trackback is a bit small for larger hands, the screen can be a bit small (though not a con if you are looking for a small device, and there is no webcam. Overall though, I would recommend this laptop for anyone doing some gaming on the go.

Excellent computer. The biggest drawback there is no way around- Windows is terrible and constantly wants to upgrade to a even more annoying operating system Win 11. I will eventually install Windows 7 and be done with the constant annoying popups from Microsoft. I mostly run Adobe software on this and don't use MS for anything but the OS.

great laptop. gets super hot though and cant keep it on your lap when you game. otherwise I love the form factor and power of this laptop.

I bought this open box the only problem was the speakers problem with the design of the laptop I fix it and so far fast laptop good graphics

Extremely good for gaming. I play FIFA22, I love this laptop. I am a programmer, this laptop is lightweight af. I am able to carry it to my workplace easily.

I didn’t actually get a chance to use the laptop as I returned it so quickly. I may have just had bad luck, but the Best Buy open box “excellent certified” is advertised as “Products in this condition look brand new — with no physical flaws, scratches or scuffs — and include the original parts and accessories (or a suitable replacement),* as well as the original box (or a suitable replacement).” Open box is also classified differently from preowned or refurbished. My purchase was an open box excellent certified, advertised to look like new. However the item was clearly worn, multiple scuffs all over the lid. Several scratches down to the bare metal through paint, the corners were scratch with the rear most corner having a gouge about an 1/8 of an inch long. With the case being magnesium I would think this laptop was dropped or hit rather heavily with another object. The USB ports all hard significant wear marks and scratches where the person trying to use the port missed several times over an extended period of time. I believe that this was clearly a refurbished or preowned item. The descriptions claims it was professionally clean, with what I can only image was spit. The white rubber and plastic trim pieces were yellowing and browned. While I feel like this laptop is of good qualifier and performance from the factory, open boxed items should be throughly inspected as the Best Buy categories do not match the actual condition of the items in question. If this “used” item was excellent certified, the fair must be missing the screen.

Great computer, been running Xbox Game Pass games without issues. But dang the fans are absurd! My desk is in my bedroom and I had it just downloading some games overnight and the fans were so loud they woke me up. I would be alright with it while gaming but thermal issues while just doing basic tasks is a turn off. Tried a bunch of things, checking emails, word, etc and found the fan noise to be a major turnoff.

Unless you plan to keep the backlight on at all times (I didn't because white light on silver keys is hard to see during the day), you'll be subject to a whine, akin to the whine of a swarm of mosquitoes flying over your head. Other than that, the computer performed admirably and I would've loved to keep it
