    Overheating issues

    The laptop worked very well for the first 2 months. But about a month or so ago I started facing overheating issues. While playing games the temperatures would go to 95C and the laptop would shut down automatically. I have tried a lot of things from updating/downgrading drivers/BIOS, reinstalling windows, and creating a manual fan profile. Nothing has worked for me so far. I have had this laptop for 4 months so I cannot return it either. I think this is just my unit as I cannot find any help online. Beware of these issues before making a purchase.

    Very powerful system able to run esport titles with full graphics with around 200FPS and AAA games on Ultra and still playing above 60fps. My only warning is to make sure the G15 is the one you want, as it is the G14 that has the anime LED matrix, Thumbprint reader, and full HDR-capable display. I have not owned it long enough to determine the battery life properly.

    ASUS does not honor 1yr Warranty on open box purch

    PC works great , however when you buy an open box ASUS product , ASUS will only honor a 90 day warranty so Best Buy has to pick up the repair for the balance of the year (9 months) From ASUS My name is Danielle D., and I will be glad to assist you! I do understand that you stated your warranty expires November of next year. Based on your query, Unfortunately, I am seeing where your warranty has been updated and expires 03/07/2024. Please be advised that open box devices get 90 days warranty. However, device that are purchase new get 1 year warranty. So BUYERS BEWARE

    when i showed up to pick it up they couldn’t find the pc so the order got canceled then they found the pc after they canceled the order. upon getting the pc the backlights on the keyboard didn’t work because there was no ATK to run the lights. upon further digging i found out ASUS dropped support for this laptop. returned and bought an MSI. save yourself the trouble and don’t buy from ASUS

    Awesome Gaming Laptop

    This is an absolutely amazing laptop. Powerful gaming machine, I can run anything and it looks beautiful. Out of the box this thing runs on max so you have to limit that and then it runs silent unless you're making it work. It's pricey but quality. Very happy with it.

    Good but not for everybody

    This is a good laptop don’t get me wrong it’s super powerful but just wasn’t for me the quality felt a bit cheap for a 2k+ laptop I settled for the Razer blade 14 2022 model.

    Battery broken out of the box

    The battery did not work out of the box. This is a $2000~ computer that had a fault before I even got my hands on it. If I unplug it, it shuts off. It isnt a windows thing either, no lights, no BIOS, just no power. Currently in the process of getting my BRAND NEW HIGH END laptop fixed.

    Purchased Nov. 2022 Today is June 3 2023 and it will not do anything except light the keyboard. Got the 3 year Geek warranty, we will see how that goes....

      If the laptop will not boot up or it's just black screen except to light the keyboard, please do the following. Please try to do a power cycle by pressing and holding down the power button to shut it down completely. If it still black screen after a few minutes, at least 10 minutes, please repeat the power cycle process again. If the laptop is applying updates in the System Registry, it will black screen temporarily until the update were applied successfully. Also, please try to disconnect the power cable and let the unit drain for 24 hours to clear the memory. This will reset the hardware to default settings. After doing this, please reconnect your AC adapter, do not power on the laptop until the battery was charged.

    Idle wattage way higher than it should be, resulting in bad battery life. (Resetting Windows, uninstalling/reinstalling Armoury Crate, disabling services, etc., made no difference.) Performance drop on battery is quite high (especially compared to Intel CPUs). Because of odd color choices, the keyboard is basically inpossible to see with the backlight off.

    I bought this because I game and I do graphic design. Sometimes at the same time. So far this machine has held up to my expectations. It is stupid quiet and it handles the loads i put on it very well. Looking forward to doing some upgrading for my ideal set up.

    This device can handle any game at 1440p and has decent battery life. I love how portable it is and isn’t too much heavier than the g14. The screen is also color accurate and has a fast refresh rate. Definitely one of the best laptops from 2022!

    Really good specs for the price My laptop has no thermal throttling at all, CPU rarely gets over 80, mostly between 60-70 and GPU hovers at around low 70s as well. The keyboard is surprisingly great to type on and the trackpad is so smooth as well. Doesn't come with too much bloatware, really just a perfect laptop.
