Such a nifty little laptop, love the aesthetic and runs extremely smooth. Not overly loud; gets a little warm with heavy gameplay but nothing too scary. Looks like a professional laptop and not the typical gaudy “gamer” look that’s become the norm.

previous ASUS laptop lasted almost 8 years. Sadly, it became obvious it was time for a new one and I’m very pleased with the performance. Hope to get another 8 years out of this one. ASUS IS MY BRAND WHEN IT CONES TO COMPUTERS.

Great laptop! The form factor is great and really keeps the laptop from overheating. The keyboard is lit by default and is quite nice. The keys have a nice click to them and are quite satisfying to press. I really enjoy this and would highly recommend.

The graphics are great. It just gets really hot when you’re playing games. The fan gets loud too, but if you’re wearing headphones it shouldn’t be too much of a problem. I like it, it’s really light and small, so it’s great for on the go. I love how smooth my games run!

This laptop was purchased for my son who's majoring in engineering and he is obsessed with how well the graphics and programs are.

Great computer for the price. It is significantly faster than my old Xps 13 i7 quad core. I upgraded the ram to 16 GB. Very easy. The laptop is a light, and quiet beast. I did have issues with it not going to sleep. But we figured it out eventually

Very happy with unit. It's functional, powerful, and we'll put together. I will probably use this unit for the next 5 years with no complaints. Quality is exactly what I've come to expect from Asus, and this purchase is no exception.

I exchanged this model twice now and have had problems both times. I really wanted to like the computer and it was good when things were working. With the first purchase, the computer worked well for about 3 weeks and then the wifi stopped working. Somehow the wifi was turned off in the bios. I was able to resolve that myself. Then it was about 3 months of working pretty well and then it suddenly wouldn't turn on anymore. It wouldn't charge via USB-C or with the included power adapter. At that point, I decided to exchange this for another one in case the model I had was defective. With the exchanged computer, problems happened immediately. Less than a few days of use, the screen would suddenly go black and the computer becomes non-responsive. I have a laptop extended to two external monitors with a USB-C docking station. I thought it might've been the docking station causing the problem. When I disconnected that and just used the laptop screen itself, the same issue occurred. I have since exchanged this model for a different computer entirely. I'm not sure if I was unlucky to get two defective computers for this model but it seems like a high probability to get a defective computer twice. It really was pretty good when things were working fine but when it failed, it was bad. I expected more especially at this high price-point. Nothing really that I can complain about for the price. Maybe specifying if the g14 back led feature would be included would be more consumer friendly, sadly ours did not come with it and we were unaware not all models didn't have it

Overall I like this laptop but I returned it because I had issues transferring massive amounts data from RED digital cards to external drives through this computer. something most people will not have to worry about

Great laptop . For me it is perfect for programming. It has very powerful Cpu , building projects very very fast. Unity3D runs perfect on this laptop . Bought for 799

First time gaming laptop, everything about it I love already. Runs smoothly.. graphics card is amazing! The white color lights are nice.. could be brighter but besides that love the laptop.

My first 14 inch, and my first AMD Chip. This Assus rocks! AND the associates were fantastic! Jeff, Geek Squad, when the extra mile. If I could remember the 3 sale's guys they were reason enough to come back.

The device I purchases was clean and packaged really carefully. It was open-box and looked just like new. Been using it since, and I really like it. 10/10 would recommend.

I bought this laptop for my cousin after he graduated high school. He loves it and it can perform a variety of high-end tasks that a low-end laptop would struggle with (video editing, gaming and streaming).

I love my computer! It's the perfect weight and doesn't get super hot when running games due to the fan settings you can choose from. It's really great for everyday use as well as for school!

This computer is turning out to be an excellent purchase and runs all of the games I've tried on ultra settings (Cod modern warfare, rainbow six, etc...). Extremely happy with it

I've had the device for a month now and it has been holding up quite well so far. Although it has 8 GB of RAM, I was able to easily upgrade that because there was an open slot.

Ready to spend over $1000 for the dimmest monitor possible, a terrible chicklet keyboard, and a screen that alters the height of your keyboard if you adjust it? then this is the laptop you want, but I highly doubt that's what you're looking for. Where to begin? The most awkward keyboard, I had to slow down how fast I type and have to deliberately strike each key instead of touch typing like I have been doing for the last 25 years. No, I have to treat this keyboard like it's a typewriter from the 1950s. The laptop screen is the dimmest thing possible, I have good vision but I can NOT see anything on here. You better be in absolute darkness, if there is any sort of day light on the screen it becomes blown out. The screen only has 3 brightness settings, and they're "DARK, Slightly less dark, even slightly less dark" if you ever had the first generation Gameboy Advance SP, imagine that but worse. The settings make absolutely no difference. If you try to adjust the screen angle to make up for the terrible brightness, be prepared to adjust your posture because the bottom of the screen acts as the kickstand and the angle of the screen determines the angle of the keyboard. It's like the kobiyashi maru in star trek, there is no winning. Everything you do to make it work, the laptop fights you in another manner. The only redeeming quality from this is that it works. Does it work well? No. But it works.
