I absolutely love this laptop. It is amazing. It is very fast and is capable of handling multiple things at once and performs well when gaming. Runs very smooth on medium/normal setting for games and can even push ultra settings on some titles. The ram is upgradable so that might help with some getting better fps on some games. It does well editing photos and rendering videos. Also this laptop is very light weight. Only annoying thing is it have no Ethernet port but that can be solved easily with an adapter. Other than that it is great for everything and casual gamers that don’t need crazy specs and ultra settings for everything. It won’t disappoint

Quality laptop that hasn't let me down. The colors on the screen are very nice, it doesn't run super hot and it can handle most of what I throw at it. Could have more space.

Performance was great. Very good battery life for a gaming laptop. I got around 4-5 hours unplugged doing light stuff. Doesn't have the animeMatrix lights in the back. Keyboard feel was great--almost Thinkpad-like. The lighting on the keyboard was inconsistent. 3/5 stars for the keyboard backlight. The fingerprint reader was inconsistent. 60hz screen only but you should expect that. Very light and compact. Doesn't look very "gamey" so it could pass being used by an adult :) I think for an $1100 laptop it's a tad overpriced. If it was $100-$200 less it would be great.

I have to say, for a 14" notebook this did everything I could possibly throw at it. I am impressed with the power even on this base model, I thought maybe getting a GTX 1650 would not be enough power to run the games I wanted, but it ran them with stride, and even more so when I tried playing Dead Space 3 at 4k, and it held well at 45 - 50 fps with no stutters... The issue with mine was a manufacturing defect. The speakers were not working correctly and barely had sound, and so I returned mine and opted to get it's bigger brother with the Ryzen 9 RTX 2060. If you want a good laptop without breaking the bank, especially during a sale, this is a good choice, just make sure you run through the paces to make sure everything works. These have been sitting for a long time in the warehouse due to covid and neither this nor the RTX version had any battery life left when I tried to turn it on. I knocked off a star and quality due to the manufacturing defect and having to take the trip back to Best Buy and waiting on the line to return this.

I got this computer for my son so that he has a fast computer to play games and use his apps on, and it’s been working splendidly. The components are sufficient enough to run almost everything at a smooth rate, and it boasts a good amount of features, on the keyboard and part of the system. The included software is actually of benefit to running software more efficiently as well. Compared to our previous computer, it’s been a major upgrade to overall system speed. Although it takes time to get used to working with the Asus software, this computer is a very excellent option for everyday use.

Very happy with this purchase. Great for surfing the internet very fast and if I choose I have the ability to play games. (I'm not a gamer.) LOL. Highly recommend.

this is an awesome laptop, mind it has not webcam but I purchased one separately, the battery last forever, fast, great performance, sturdy. best I ever owned

At first I was skeptical if I could use a windows laptop to run my audio and dj programs. Overall it has handled them well with a little tweaking and at a fraction of the cost of a Macbook Pro. The AMD processor is powerful indeed as I have no problem running Pro Tools with Video and plenty of plugins. Windows 10 is a little clunky compared to Mac OS and I do miss the trackpad and coreaudio compared to all the asio driver nonsense on windows but it's a small sacrifice for big savings. On top of that this is a gaming laptop and it handles those duties quite well and in a very portable form factor.

Love my new computer! Great capabilities & reasonably priced. It’s also very light & compact if you need to carry with you or travel with frequently.

My son needs a new laptop and wanted something he can use for school and some gaming. This fit the bill perfectly! The AMD processors coming out right now rival or surpass Intel with speed, performance and battery life. While this version is not the High spec one, it's enough for simple gameplay such as fornite etc with no probs, but I have not tried it yet on games that may push it harder as of yet. If you get this laptop you will definitely love it

I'll be honest with ya, I know absolutely nothing about computers and I tried researching and trying to study them before I made my purchase. I'm honestly still at a complete loss with e but it seems to be a really solid laptop if you're just wanting to do classes or watch videos/movies. It's pretty fast on the start up/shutdown and has a fingerprint scanner for sign in. It does a mic but however does not have webcam which shouldn't be a turnoff because most laptop webcams are 720p. Why not just spend $20 for a 1080p camera to hook up lol.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about the performance for the price of this laptop, when you consider the 14 inch form factor. The ryzen cpu is great. The ability to pop in more RAM is great. The 1650 is good enough for reasonable performance in games. Not going to be ultra settings at 1080p or higher for new games, but it is fine. Big reason I returned mine. No camera. Working from home now i need a camera. I have a USB one, but that hassle is crazy to set up each day...especially living without a desk as I do now. So I would recommend it, but know what you're getting!

this laptop have a good looking and good performance but the display is only 60hz and 8gb ram so I buy another monitor for better use.

Look, there are plenty of other gaming laptop you can get at this price that is more performant. My intention was just to get the most portable gaming laptop at this price ($1000 on sale) and this was it. Perfect for those that plays a lot of competitive shooters like Valorant or MOBAS like league of legends. I connect this thing to an external monitor (1440p 144hz) and it runs those games perfectly. If you are looking for 60+ fps on Red Dead or Cyberpunk, look elsewhere, you will be disappointed.

Excellent price. The computer is working well. I was able to add another 8GB of memory to bring it up to 16GB or RAM. I don't use it for gaming, but as a general purpose computer so while the GeForce 1650 is not the best graphics card for gaming, it is find for my use. I'm looking forward to writing some multi threaded code to take advantage of the 16 threads available. I would have prefered to have an RJ45 Ethernet port but was able to find a low cost USB 3 hub that also provided an RJ45 port as well as the ability to connect to my VGA KVM.

Great laptop been going strong for over 2 years would highly recommend this laptop.

This Laptop is great for everything. I personally use it for gaming and Video editing. The fans are a little loud but you get used to it.

overall the specs are good and it performs well. the battery should last around 10 hours while browsing the web.

Amazing laptop amazing amazing . Easy ram upgrade. This laptop is more than a gaming laptop, the design and the aesthetics for a slim gaming laptop . I thought l it was only Alienware and razer that have great hardware , but this was a steal for me at the price . I'm an ROG fan now for life because of this laptop. Only caveat is battery drains during gaming , but during gaming you should be plugged in. Fastest laptop I have ever used .
