This laptop has been a very reliable daily driver. The screen is great, and the keyboard offers an excellent typing experience. I’ve also been impressed by the long battery life, which easily handles a full day of use. Performance & Thermals: Light use/gaming: Stays cool and quiet. Heavy load: It stays functional but gets very hot, and the fan noise becomes quite loud. The Downside: I unfortunately broke my charging adapter and have found it extremely hard to find a replacement. It’s a great machine, but be very careful with the charger!

Works well for gaming after you devloat the OS and disable armory crate in the BIOS. Make sure to instsll another stick of memory if you buy this laptop. Might want to throw in a larger, faster m.2 while youre at it. It has 2 m.2 slots. Laptop is mainly used for work/dev. Love how low of a profile it has, its essentially the size of a MacBook. Overall, im very happy with this purchase.

This laptop has the goods on paper to be a solid choice for gaming while still being quite portable. It definitely fit the bill, but I had to return it for two significant issues. The first is Asus' control software, Armoury Crate. It's really terrible, though most of its functionality can be replaced by a much lighter weight third-party application called G-Helper. The bigger problem was the HDMI port. Despite trying multiple cables and compatible displays, I could only get the laptop to output at HDMI 2.0 resolutions and refresh rates, which are 4K/60 Hz or 1440p/144 Hz. Adaptive refresh rate, aka G-Sync, also didn't work properly. Maybe it was just my unit, but this was a deal breaker.

Been using it for a month. It’s very good and fast. I have been playing demanding game games at around 180 frames. Only modification I did was adding ram, ssd and other undervolting it. It doesn’t need the extra stuff to run games over 200fps. It’s an amazing laptop and I would recommend it. P.s. - there is one 16gb ram soldered, you can only add one ram later on

Great display. Light and thin laptop. Can heat up quick depending on usage.

This is still by far one of the better midrange gaming laptops. While the 4070 isn't that much better than the previous 3070, unless you can get a 3070 laptop for much cheaper, this would be a better bet especially since it's fairly thin. It ain't Razer laptop thin but it's thin enough.

This computer is an incredible machine for the price. It provides great FPS for gaming and doesnt get too hot. I enjoy how the keyboard is laid out for those long hours of gaming. My preferred game is World of Warcraft and this computer allows me to raid on high settings with no lag. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a good mod range laptop if you are gaming on the go.

I was on the fence about purchasing the prior year model but after research, I couldn’t be happier. An additional m.2 ssd slot along with expandable memory?! A 30 dollar stick of matching ram has this system up to 32 gb. The processor is adequate but the star of the show is the beefy rtx4070. I see this as a solid future proofed all around system capable of graphics intensive tasks including solid gaming. At almost half price of the 2024 model that is t as upgradable. Win

Great laptop. I got it on sale and I feel like I got a great value. I upgraded the ram to 32gb and added a second 1tb hard drive for games. It has handled everything I play with ease. Eldenring, marval rivals, epic battle simulator. If you can catch it on sale which seems to happen once in a while you should grab one.

Coulnt be happier with my new laptop the Asus ROG G16 is more powerful and beautiful than i could have hopef and with their progressive leasing i was able to afford this beast easily with small (smaller than expected even!!) payments on a schedule set that was convenient for me!

A very good laptop for the price. Can get noisy plugged in, but it's set to go all out by default most likely. Can be tweaked to make it run quieter. 512gb isn't enough but can be upgraded, there's 1 extra m.2 slot available. Not as thin as the new 2024 G16, but at least there's upgradable ram too if needed.

Great product with smooth operation is just unbeatable, you can work on cad and then move to play warzone without any problem

The 4070 paired with the 1080p 165 screen easily crushes anything I throw at it with max fps. Perfect for when I'm traveling and want to do some gaming.

Excellent laptop for the price. Very good performance from a thin device. Feels elegant and can run most games on high or ultra on pretty nice fps. Beautiful LED almost comparable to my oled tv. My first laptop in years and outperforms my MacBook in all ways. I am satisfied with the purchase!

Smaller than most gaming laptops which makes it practical for office work when you're out and about; however, if you're ever in the mood to game.. it packs a punch with over 100 fps on almost every game you'd want to play.

Bought earlier this year very satisfied sight with the overall performance of the machine I just wish it had an extra nvme slot on the motherboard

My only issue is that my After Effects updated the minimum requirements to 16gb ram and the advertised 16gb actually registers as something around 15.7. this could be a driver related issue on my end. Otherwise it's a great gaming rig for the price. Haven't had a game I couldn't run reasonably well at high or ultra setting. Fans do get pretty loud though.

I really love this laptop. The design is amazing and I feel like the heat coming out of it is much cooler than most gaming laptops. The screen is a bit taller than most screens and I’m a big fan. My only issues with it are that both of the ones I have purchased had a good amount of backlight bleed in the bottom left. I rarely notice it unless it’s a dark image being displayed.

A bit loud but still very nice. Will play any game on the market right now. Screen could also be a bit brighter. Solid choice for any budget gaming
