Overall I am pleased with this laptop and enjoy using it for some fairly basic gaming (e.g., BG3, Civ VI/VII). My favorite feature is the screen - it actually manages to make Windows look decent and game gorgeous. I do have an annoying, recurring issue where a component of the sound system (amplifier, if memory serves) will stop working. That prevents the pretty decent speaker array from working, and I get very tinny, low volume sound from what I surmise is a basic speaker on the motherboard. I have to go into Device Manager and disable/enable the device to get sound restored. I am hoping this is resolved in a future driver update, and I need to get around to opening a support ticket with Asus.

Phenomenal Windows laptop. This is my first AMD CPU based laptop having been an Intel Del, HP, Razer user for decades, and a Macbook Pro user. I can say this model with the Ryzen AI9 HX370 & NVIDEA 4070 graphics has been awesome. Unlike my Razer 15, this ASUS remains cool to the touch, no annoying fan noise, and the OLED screen is vibrantly beutifiul. It does rival my Mackook Pro 16 (M3 MAX) far closer than the Razer Blade or any other Windows laptop I have used. The speakers are fantastic. Despite some reports, I have not had any WiFi issues at all. Maybe that's because this is the latest version of the ASUS Zephrus G16 - IDK. But I have experienced no issues whatsoever. The white color is cool. I had hoped it would come with black as an option, but it's ok. It is a tad hard to see the keyboard key letters, but not too bad. The RGB backlighting makes it much easier to see. I am glad I got the 2T model with the 32G RAM. Might as well max it out from the get go. RAM is soldiered on so cannot be upgraded, so think carefully. 16G in my mind is too small. A 64G model would be better if only it was offered. 32G should be fine for my needs. I do highly recommend the ASUS G16 with the AMD AI9 chip.

Out of the recent laptops I've tried to purchase this was probably my favorite one. I tried it for a week but i returned it because i forgot to use my giftcard i had. I didn't rebuy it (even though i felt like i should have) but i've tried the Lenovo legion pro 7i and the Asus ProArt laptops and the G16 was probably the better of the three. Much cooler/quiter than the legion and the nice 16 inch screen with a good refresh rate not only helps when gaming but also when scrolling through code, something that really bothers me about the Asus Proart. It doesn't get overly hot like the intel laptops in general and is quieter and for me this was the highlight of the G16. My biggest con with this is the price tag vs the specs. its a $2400 after tax laptop and you only get a 4070 and 32 bg of ram (not upgradable) so its a tough sell but if you are a prosumer that needs something for productivity like coding and a bit of gaming, This is it.

It is an excellent Laptop. I recommend this laptop for good performance. Speed and Display is good. Size is also good. This is very good laptop for high schoolers and college going kids for their work assignments. Good for playing games as well.

Great laptop amazing screen! Bought this one and the g14 the smaller brother and this thing is a beast handles all games at high/ultra over 120fps! Wish I would have waiting for the 5070 TI version but deff worth it.

The machine is great, performance is superb. The OLED is beautiful. Wifi is very sub-par on this machine it loses connection all the time, and take 20-30 seconds to reconnect constantly. It seems highly susceptible to network congestion. Swapping out the Wifi for a Qualcomm one vastly improved the overall experience.

I love that it is slim, light, beautiful and the keyboard is awesome and respoonsive. I love typing on it and I love the RGB on the keyboard. Best gaming laptop ever and I travel with it everywhere. I’m the type of person who relies on reviews and research before purchasing anything device. After reading up on the Zephyrus G16, I decided this was the gaming laptop for me. Boy am I glad I went with this laptop! Coming from an Alienware m15, the G16 runs far superior. I am impressed with the noise level of the fan compared to the Alienware as well as the display ! After decided on this laptop I went back and forth with the G14 and 16 and considering the screen is bigger on the G16, the laptop itself is still lightweight and portable compared to other laptops I’ve used in the past. I highly recommend!

I’ve owned this laptop for about 6 months now and have nothing bad to say at all. I love the aluminum design, although I still travel it in a case, I feel confident in how sturdy it is. The ram and storage are at the sweet spot where I feel like I didn’t need to go any bigger and won’t need to upgrade at anytime. I use it for work, school and obviously gaming. I am able to run helldivers 2 and battlefield 6 with no issues or crashes! It does run hot but that is a trade off for having a laptop not a ding on this one specifically. I have recommended it to friends and say it’s a 10/10, if I could go back in time I would buy this over and over again. It’s pricy, but you get a lot of value out of this product!

Powerhouse. You do not need a 4080 if you own a gaming desktop…save your battery. The color is awesome.this IS the best variation of G15.

Coming from a MacBook Pro to this ASUS was a big change, I have really enjoyed the speed of the laptop. The screen makes me want to stayed glued to my laptop all day. I will say I wish the battery life would last all day but it is understandable how long the battery last because of the power this laptop has.

Just got my first asus laptop and this does not disappoint. Has great battery life for how big it is and runs great, even using heavy programs like coding

It’s overall performance is amazing my video editing and gaming are just phenomenal on this thing but it gets fairly hot so I have it on a laptop cooler for gaming and it works perfectly and won’t over heat I love it

Excellent bang for the buck. Other the being unable to upgrade your RAM, this thing is a very viable option for high end gaming and productivity on the go. Also, gets well into 90°C if you're using it intensively for any extended period of time. Will require a laptop fan to maximize longevity.

Got this laptop for a relative and they love it, for the price it's got good specs, and the screen and speaker combo is actually incredible.

I bought this laptop as my first Asus after over a decade with Razer, couldnt be happier. Speakers and OLED panel are amazing for watching video as well as games. Fan noise isnt bad, even when maxed out. Can get hot under load, but nothing out of the ordinary with gaming laptops. 10/10.

Just as I expected, this ASUS laptop is actually better to touch than Razer. Aluminum shell is very well made, almost Apple quality. No fingerprints. Beautiful screen. Great comfy keyboard, much better than Razer. But there were issues out of the box: - Stock Windows install had 2 Trojan viruses. Make sure you install antivirus immediately. - MediaTek WiFi 7 card is ehhh. The only way to upgrade is Qualcomm since AMD is supposedly not compatible with Intel WiFi cards. The only card that is available is MSI Herald desktop card that contains M.2 card inside or get knock-off brands. - Armoury Crate is overbloated bloatware, as expected. Download Ghelper and uninstall Armoury Crate. This actually fixed freezing issue for me when waking up from sleep and clicking on volume icon in Windows. - ASUS BIOS limits SSD size to 2TB on main slot. But there is another slot that will let you install another SSD, but the speed will be limited to 4x2 lanes, which is still decent for storage and running most games. 2TB+2TB = 4TB, which is good.
