pros: - display is amazing - runs any game (including high-graphic HFW) beautifully - gets really dim which is nice at night - cheap for something this powerful - good speed cons: - it gets super hot - you basically have to reinstall your own control tool (G-helper), the built-in one (Armoury Crate) is trash - you have to restart to go between eco and ultimate mode - keyboard backlight doesn't work unless the computer has been unlocked, annoying at night because you can't see to type in your log-in password - wish the screen folded back the full way for lap use - heavy - pretty bad battery life, not great for travel overall, get it if you know what you're doing with computers. might not be the best for not tech-savvy people just looking to game

Great design and gret efficiency, silent with low power tasks but little noisy when running games, display and sound is amazing.

To start, my last lapotp was the ROG Flow x13 from 2022. For me this was a perfect upgrade.(once I realized i did not utilize the touch screen as much as I thought) Now if you have anything newer or sinilar in specs to this, it may require some more thought unless you have excess capital youd really like to spend. With that out of the way, this is a fantastic laptop, the build qualities, the screen, the choice of components, it all blends well in this package. If you had previous ASUS laptops please do note the RAM is no longer upgradeable, but there is an NVME ssd slot for you to occupy. I dont really fall into the numbers games when it comes to laptops as I have a beefy desktop, and dont use this laptop primarily for gaming, instead its a mix of CAD and pre-visualization software, and for that it exceeds my expectations with flying colors, do note that these fans sound like the laptop is about to blast off into space when things get spicy under the chasis.

Excellent screen and form factor. Very lightweight for the power it has. Wish the battery life could be better. About the fan noise, I think its software related than the actual thermals. Uninstalled armory crate and using ghelper. This made the fans a lot better

So far I love the laptop. I was a little concerned with the fan noise at first, but with some settings tweaks and the right programs I think it's working really well now. Biggest area of improvement is it should have 32gb of ram for a laptop this nice. But I can't knock off a star since I new it was limited when I purchased it. I mainly use it for work and it has been more than sufficient. I'd say I'm most pleased with the portability.

Great PC for 3d printing and gaming! It can get warm at times but expect for such a small chasis. Battery life is mediocore but I am also coming from a Macbook pro. I was able to get this item price matched so it made the value even better. The build quality is great for a PC, as close as a macbook build that I can get which is why I chose it. I do regret not getting the 4080, but the price point was a little higher than I wanted to spend.

It has been a good purchase. Light weight is one pf its biggest pros. Gets heat up really quick but laters cools down. Screen is top notch.

I have never owned a gaming laptop before so I was a bit worried about making this purchase. I have had it a little over 2 weeks or so now, and I can surely say I love it. Yes it does get hot but to be honest its expected of a laptop of this size chasis. It is the lightest gaming laptop I have yet to ever see especially in a 16” size. The screen is absolutely gorgeous perfect for watching shows/movies. It runs Call of Duty MW3 at 110 fps with medium settings really well. Now battery life when doing normal things isn’t great, but again to be expected on a gaming laptop that draws alot of power. Only complaint about it is the non-upgradeable ram. Besides that it is fantastic.

This is one of the best gaming laptops I’ve ever owned, it’s got everything you could ever want, OLED 240hz screen, 4070 GPU, Intel i9 Ultra CPU and the keybaord is so comfy. The only thing I don’t like about it so far is how hot it gets while I’m just browsing the internet but other than that it’s an amazing laptop overall. I bought mine for $1000 open box and it was in excellent condition.

This is a nice laptop. It has above average average quality. I would not call it a MacBook killer. The track pad is big, but it's a little wonky. And you will have accidental clicks with it. The speakers are nice on this machine and the screen is gorgeous. But the battery life, no matter what setting you put it all, it's not great. You might get 6 hours out of it, which depending on what you do. May not be that bad to you. It has excellent port selection. With a full size, sd card, And the fans? I'm decently quiet if you have The volume up or heads at all. You won't notice the fans at all. The 16 GB of Ram. It's a deal breaker for a creative user.

It's really great. Yeah the RAM isn't the most high end, but it will most definitely do the job. The fan can get loud when you play any game that requires a lot of memory. The OLED Screen is just so beautiful I can't take my eyes off of it.

This laptop is basically built like a Mac, all aluminum thin, sleek, modern but runs Windows of course and can game! These new i9 Ultra's are finally a step in the right direction they can actually last close to 9hrs on light online use, but can crank out power for heavy productivity and gaming. This laptop is a Jack of all traits but master at none there are laptops that are slimmer, lighter, & more efficient as well as laptops that are more powerful but none that strike the balance that this one does. The cherry on top is the beautiful OLED display no game or movie has looked better than on this butter smooth, ripping fast, gorgeous 2560x1600 .03ms 240HZ display. This laptop is a great everyday laptop and easy to travel with it thin and light design also applies to it included 200w power supply.

Great laptop! Great allrounder laptop that looks professional but also has powerful enough components for some gaming. Yes it does get really hot, but that is only under high load and only is hot at the top of the laptop (above the keyboard.) Display is incredible.

I love this laptop, it is lightweight, relatively compact and has great value considering its performance. I had the 2022 G14 before this, could not be happier to upgrade! FYI the battery life is still bad, but you learn to live with it / it compensates with other qualities.

Solid gaming laptop. Great OLED screen and construction. Two downsides are: gets pretty hot - get a cooling fan/pad and lack of memory upgrade option. Some variations this model have one open DMM slot but this particular variant does not - limited to 16GB

The design is really nice, it feels like something expensive but performance wise is a total disappointment. There is a serious overheating issue, to the point that the OLED display starts developing white spots where the heat exhaust is located, and overall the laptop gets really hot doing nothing, 75 on idle is crazy high, will go to 95-100 while under stress. The RAM usage is another bad thing about this laptop, using 7-8 Gb of memory just by running windows, I've tried both W10 and W11 and I got the same RAM usage. The Asus driver is the equivalent of Frankenstein for softwares, glitches, the UI is just terrible and nonresponsive. Another drawback is the lack of an internet port and on top of that they throw in the sh#ttiest Wi-Fi card possible so even if you have all the power to run games in optimal conditions you will still be fck by the internet connectivity. If you don't care about the OLED (which is very nice) I would advise to get something else as there are better options in this price range if you are willing to give up on the display.

Thia machine is amazing. Runs most games smoothly at highest settings. Doom eternal, Cyberpunk, CoD, Silent Hill 2 remake, RE4 Remake, all easy for this beast. The RAM is a little low, and sucks you cant add to it. But it is decent enough for gaming maybe for the next 2 years. After that i think games will get more resource intensive. Build quality is amazing. A macbook level quality for sure. Screen is OLED. Solid colors when wat hing movies and gaming. I just cant complain. Maybe id like the battery life to be more. The AMD version would help with that.
