Solid performance. Control is not cloud based. Using as access point with T-mobile 5G home internet. Great signal in my 1200 sq ft home and in the front and back yard, LOL.

Signal reaches to upper floor no issue, can connect to multiple devices.

Super fast and dependable. I’m happy with it so far.

Upgraded from a Linksys 1750. Noticeably faster AX Wi-Fi is great. When from 300mbps to 850 mbps on ax 5gz.

Great router at a good price. Allows mutli port forwarding for SOHO networks using multiple services on the same port, which is something that AT&T does NOT let you do on their regular router/gateways.

Perfect, perfect, perfect! This router has excellent connectivity and has a really good galaxy themed app associated with it.

This is a great router. It's easy setup and works perfect. My old router keeps disconnecting wifi, this one I never had a problem since I bought it.

Works great--especially in my tiny house. Does not give full speeds with my upgraded internet I never asked Xfinity for... So I'll have to upgrade to another setup

Works very well but if you live in an old home with weird walls, you still need a wifi extender.

The Asus AX3000 router offers fast and reliable Wi-Fi speeds, with support for the latest Wi-Fi 6 technology which i had no idea bout until I did a little google search and, oh my, its so nice for gaming and a hose hold with too many smart tvs and phones to count. It has a impressive range too. My blink camera all the way in my back yard has zero connection issues like I did with my old router. It's definitely the best choice for homes or small offices with multiple devices. The router's setup process is user-friendly with an easy guide and very simple yet advanced app, and it comes with a bunch of other cool and useful features. Overall, the Asus AX3000 router is a solid performer that delivers high-speed connectivity and reliability.

This is a good router for most mid-sized homes. Anything over AX3000 is probably an overkill for most homes unless you have multiple streaming gamers. Design: Light weight, compact Hardware: I was slightly concerned about performance based on the specs but was pleasantly surprised after enabling parental controls and security options to see about 60% RAM usage and barely any CPU usage. This should last for some time as more devices are added to my network. Performance: Software seems optimized nicely with hardware. With 25+ devices connected, multiple devices streaming at the same time, there is no lag. Range: This router replaced a Google Onhub on my network. Range seems to be good although not far as the Onhub. Performance is consistent in the areas it covers, one of the reasons why I upgraded in the first place. I wish range was slightly better too. Connectivity: Switching between 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz is not as seamless as it was with Onhub. Connection breaks momentarily when moving between far and close distances. Some devices seem to have a problem staying connected over long periods needing a connection reset. Features: This router is packed with features including parental controls, basic security protection, network insights, device management, WPA3, etc. I chose this over Netgear, Linksys and TP-Link routers in the same category because Asus doesn't charge for basic protection for IoT devices unlike others. Parental controls can be further improved for ease of use. That's one feature I miss from the Google Onhub. Security: It is too early to say how effective the AI protection is but I would consider it basic protection for those devices on the network that can't be protected through other means. Mobile App: App is nice, convenient, ease to use. UI need to be modernized since app use for routers is only going up because of features like parental control. Overall, this router is doing it's job. I hope Asus will fix the connectivity issue with a future software update. Who resets their wifi these days anyway?!

This has been a great router so far. For the price point there is plenty of value here. I have long been a Netgear user but the interface of the ASUS is quite an upgrade. More modern. Faster. Less buggy. More features. And it just works well. Easy to setup. This was an upgrade for us in Wi-Fi specs as well. Better range and overall better speed and performance across the network. We only have one Wi-Fi 6 AX device and it seems to provide a slight performance enhancement above AC. AC devices seem to play well with AX turned on. I haven’t added any mesh nodes yet so I cannot comment to that but the affordability of ASUS mesh networks is one reason I chose this router and I’m looking forward to adding those in the future as we do have some dead spots that were slightly better now with this router. Overall decent coverage around 2500 square foot u-shaped home with router installed high on a shelf near the center of the home.

Very satisfied with my first Asus router. I wanted to upgrade my Netgear R9000 AC router to get on WiFi6. My biggest surprise is how light and how small a footprint it requires compared to my last few high end Netgear routers. So I was a little hesitant it wouldn't perform as well but after testing signal strength and speeds this Asus is a clear winner. A tip, which is also printed in materials included in Asus documents, is if you plan to enable WiFi6, you MUST install the newest wireless NIC card drivers from the NIC manufacturer before enabling WiFi6 on the router. In my case, I went to Intel's website to find the correct downloads. This will ensure your computer will see the SSIDs after enabling the optional WiFi6 features. My testing on the 5Ghz band showed a speed increase of around 100 Mbps over my R9000 Netgear router. This router supports the newest WPA3 security framework too. It allows you to select any of the older standards or a combination of them for each SSID. I went with WPA2/WPA3 to allow legacy devices to connect still. Dual band only but this is more than enough for my 12 devices in a 4000 sq ft home. My typical traffic is youtube, surfing net, and occasional video gaming.

Great wifi router, set up was so very easy. Wifi 6 coverage is much better than wifi 5 coverage. Extends outside house to garage, fantastic. With compatible wifi 6 device such Galaxy S10 get 1 gig speed. Better for smart home with many smart devices to control. App is very user friendly, has parental controls, wpa3 security, and price is not to high like other routers.
