Just received my monitor a couple days ago and so far so good. Picture quality is great especially on next gen consoles. I use the xbox series x, it supports the full power of your console so expect to get the most out of it. This is an IPS monitor so colors are really good and accurate. Response time is fast as well. The ONE thing I did notice is when ever you exit a game or go in to one the screen quickly goes black then back to what you were doing. I think that’s normal for this monitor but over all good purchase.

The product is total 4 stars. I could've giving it a 5 star if I did not receive my product a little defective. I keep getting a black screen when loading my games. But overall it still a good product. I would recommend it, if you are wanting a 4k resolution with a 2.1 HDMI for a good price.

I love this monitor but also hate it. I guess it would be easier to deal with it’s quirks if the monitor wasn’t so expensive. What I love. The screen looks great. Vibrant colors. High refresh rate. 4K. HDMI 2.1 What I hate. The monitor is slow to turn on. There wasn’t a huge issue until I upgraded my ITX build. Z390-i/9900k to Z590-i/11900k. Now I do not see the boot logo and cannot get into the bios using the DisplayPort connection. The only workaround is using an HDMI port with the onboard iGPU. Next.. there is a crazy bloom effect. The monitor tries to achieve a deep black by turning off the back lighting in zones. So what happens is when the screen is black except for a mouse curser. You get this black screen except for where the mouse is. In zone where the mouse in there is a grey streak of lighting on an others wise black screen.

After owning the VG28UQL1A for a while, I would say it is one of the best purchases I have made. So much so, that I have bought another to use as a second monitor.

Great monitor! Wish it was slim at the bottom like at the top but I’m sure future models will slim down. As far as picture quality I have no complaints.

It's a great monitor, bought it for gaming and to pair with the VG28Q, which essentially the downgraded version of this monitor. When I'm in a game it looks fantastic, but outside of a game I honestly think the downgraded VG28Q looks better in terms of color & brightness. If I have the same thing on both monitors it looks better on the other one to me. However I believe that's primarily due to brightness as the screen on this monitor doesn't get as bright as the VG28Q, which means colors aren't going to get as vibrant. I have not been able to get the settings to equal out in terms of brightness and color. On its own or paired with the same exact model of monitor you're not going to notice anything, but paired with another make or model of monitor you might be slightly annoyed like me. I will give credit though to ASUS because the VG28UQL1A & VG28Q are the first 2 monitors I've ever had where I've gone through and tested them and haven't had a single dead pixel (at least that I've seen, and I tested them thoroughly in that regard).

Honestly a banger deal for the price. With it being 4k. 120hz. With hdmi 2.1 for the series x and ps5.

Bought the TUF 28" VG28UQL1A 4k 144Hz monitor and with the 3090, it plays pretty much all games at 4k 60+ frames without issues. Forza Horizon 5 does have some spots where FPS drops, but most other games have not had any issues. The difference between the VA panel I replaced and this when plugging it in was night and day. It looks clear and crisp, which is amazing! I also create content on Twitch and having this beast of a card helps with that as well. Very happy with the purchase and recommend it to others.

Awesome picture quality comparable to a 4K iMac, built in speakers are astonishingly awful. They should not have even bothered. At this price point, they should be better. All volume set at 100, in Windows and on the monitor, and still very low. Headphones or stand alone speakers a must.

Owned this monitor for about two weeks now and the only annoyance I have found is when dashboarding from a game on the series x it will go to a black screen for a couple seconds then load the dashboard. It’s a bit jarring as the series x Has quick resume of course, but other than that it’s a great monitor. Cannot go wrong with HDMI 2.1 on a series x.

Love it! Response time and picture quality are amazing! Also a huge fan of the built in Crossair that you can turn on and off with 3different style crossair with red or green option for each making those hipfire shots much more accurate and i don't have to smudge my screen up with sticky tack or tape

I believe to be one of the best priced monitors for console 4k 144hz hdmi 2.1 everything you need for ps5 just make sure you have your own sound system that’s compatible with your monitor for the the pa5 and you’ll be golden

For the price this 4k 144hz monitor is amazing the color is wonderful with lots of settings and to me the size is just right as I sit quite close to my monitor but if you game far away from your monitor consider researching into a bigger display.

I love this monitor, my picture with gaming is so crisp and smooth. Easy setup with a ton of different settings for different types of gaming. High quality monitor with a high quality picture.

The perfect monitor for console and pc gaming ( 120-144hz 4k) it was perfect for my Xbox series x game play and supports regular monitor functions for computers. This is a major game changer for school work and projects.

Good monitor only down side of it was it came with some dead pixels out the box . Didn’t notice until I ran a dark game on it. Couldn’t return.

Great monitor for the price. Went from a 60hz to 144hz I could tell a big difference.

This monitor is perfect for pairing with a current gen console. The response time is excellent and in my experience, the hdr support looks great. No complaints here!
