A gaming powerhouse for a great price

A couple weeks later - Great laptop, super powerful for heavy gaming although the fan runs a little loud (I can live with that) and great battery life for daily stuff. It is heavy though and isn't the most beautiful thing to look at, but again if the power under the hood matters more, like it did for me, buy this laptop! Super competitive price for a upper mid range dedicated graphics card too
Cons: Heavy to lug around, Not beautiful to look at (these things did not matter to me)
Pros: Great power and battery life, excellent hardware under the hood for the price, nice slightly larger than standard screen, sturdy, well built and feels solid, keyboard feels nice to type on.

The Great Laptop when on sale!

As you can see from all the positive reviews, this laptop is very VERY good! But please understand that this is a great purchase ONLY IF you find it at a sale price! DO NOT consider buying this laptop under it's regular listed price.
I'm not going to go too much in detail with the pros as a lot of other reviews mention those such as how fast the laptop is.
Pros:
- Silly FAST! - For the bargain price of roughly $700+Tax, this thing has enough oomph and then some!
- Upgradable - This laptop's memory and storage is upgradable. Asus also provides the service manual for a full disassembly for when you need to clean, re-paste, repair!
- comfortable keyboard - It is a weee bit mushy for my taste, but the key travel is decent so the key strike still gives you that positive "I clicked therefore I typed" tactile feedback
- Lightweight - I saw a review from someone else mentioning this laptop is big, heavy and bulky! IT IS NOT! Anyone that delt with previous gens gaming laptops know what an 8 lb. laptop and 3 lb. power brick feels like in their backpack or carrying case. This thing is smaller and lighter than the 15.6" Dell gaming laptop it's replacing.
- Great I/O selection - 2 USB C and 2 USB A ports along with ethernet, HDMI out and combo Audio jack. I wish it would have had an SD card reader as well, but it's good enough.
Now for the cons section. Keep in mind that these cons should not, by any means, deter you from considering this machine when it's on sale. Just keep them in mind when purchasing.
Cons:
- WINDOWS 11 - Just... Wow... The biggest con this machine has is the OS. We all complained back in the day when Vista was bad, then came 8, and now we have this gigantic mess that I don't even know if M$ knows where they're going with it, but w/e... moving along...
Yes, this OS does not help the 16GB of dual channel memory that come with the machine. First boot leaves you with only 5.4GB of usable RAM with Asus's Armory crate stuff installed along with the other Microsoft stuff (I'm looking at you OneDrive!). With Windows 11 in this machine I have experienced no sleep situations along with some older DX12 games that will not run and have to be forced to DX11 (confirmed working perfectly fine when installing Windows 10 on the laptop, so the problem is Windows 11 in some way).
- Reliance on Armory Crate - You're stuck using Asus's Armory Crate software to be able to control the fan profiles along with GPU profile. YES there are alternatives to Armory Crate BUT! You have to remember that this is a full AMD laptop with a MUX switch, so most of those alternatives will only give you Hybrid graphics and not use the AMD SmartAccess Graphics or SAG. (in laymen's terms, you wont be using the MUX switch and all processed graphics will go through the iGPU instead)
- 16GB of RAM - Yes it's dual channel memory but it is unfortunately not enough to deal with the behemoth that is Windows 11.
I upgraded my system to 64GB of Kingston Fury Impact memory (kit: F548S38IBK2-64) as it has the best timings for 4800 MT/s speeds. DO NOT BOTHER buying anything higher than 4800 MT/s for this laptop, the EUFI/BIOS doesn't have memory control so it can only do the maximum JDEC speed that the CPU allows, which for the 7735HS CPU is 4800 MT/s.
- 512GB NVME SSD - like others have stipulated, 512GB may not be enough. The included WD SN740 drive is good enough for me as an OS drive as it is GEN4 and it's fast so to keep the overall cost of the machine low I added a GEN3 2TB NVME SSD in the second slot.
- It runs HOT - This laptop does run hot. I have had temperatures reach 94C on the CPU while gaming and the chassis overall gets quite toasty so be mindful of the environment that you're in when gaming. Might have to use Turbo mode in those situations as the fans get to ramp up sooner and go for higher RPM than in regular Performance mode in Armory Crate. Due to the chassis getting hot I have also noticed that the NVMEs get hot as well, so get a low profile heatsink for them!
- Screen - The screen is Okay, not great, just Okay. It's not bright enough for my taste.
- Realtek Wi-Fi card / BT - The Realtek 8852BE Wireless LAN WiFi 6 card that this laptop comes with has mediocre performance and, even though it allows for Wake On Wireless LAN magic packets, the driver doesn't seem to handle that very well. It also seems to be part of the problem (driver wise) for Windows 11 not going to sleep. I get an Event Viewer error with a mini dump file when trying to put the system to sleep. In terms of Bluetooth, I get some device disconnects every so often with my mouse and headset and then reconnect right after which is very annoying. It will be a good idea to budget in an Intel card upgrade.
- Battery life - Battery life is Okay. It ultimately depends on what you're doing with the laptop and what setting you have the dGPU in. Based on that, this laptop is in the 3 to 6 hours of battery life.
Overall, at the sale price of $700+Tax, the pro's outweigh the cons since a very large portion of them are software derived. Using good ol' Windows 10 (downgrade) or a Linux distro mitigate quite a few of the issues I've mentioned by making the machine usable with only 16GB of memory, being able to sleep, etc.

Ill list the pros and cons first so you know please read the full.
Cons:
- start off storage is too low 512gb is not enough
- entry level ram 16gb
- battery life is atrocious 30-45 minutes at best off charge
- laptop is very heavy
-gets very hot
Pros:
- 16gb ram is dual channel and adequate enough for multitasking and gaming
- ram is upgradeable
- storage expandable up to 2x2Tb pcie nvme drive 4Tb total.
- Ryzen 7 7000 series apu is great
- RX 7700s dedicated graphics with 8gb vram is great with most any game especially for a laptop
- rugged build for the laptop very sturdy design and screen is great
Overall:
This laptop is amazing. Its handled every game ive thrown at it with absolute grace. No problems with fps no stuttering no issues whatsoever. I will say the overall build is amazing the quality is great and its completely worthwhile. The price is a little higher than id like however this laptop appears to go on sale freqently and i was able to snag it for 742 after tax. Amazing bang for the buck. The laptop comes with 2 8gb 4800 mhz ram. Dual channel and 512gb ocie nvme drive. Its all expandable up to 32 gb ram at 4800 mhz and up to 4tb total for storage. 2Tb for each drive slot. The laptop does get very hot so i recommend a cooling pad to help keep performance high. Battery is atrocious if your gaming youll get about 30-45 min at best if your kucky. Youll wanna stay plugged in. That being said the laptop does come with a 280w power supply to keep the laptop plugged in and charged during any gaming session no problem. Watch a youtube video on how to upgrade the ram and ssd which is fairly simple and invest in a cooling laptop. Get one for 27 on amazon your good to go. I bought this plus another 220 for the upgraded storage capacity and ram plus cooling pad and this thing is an absolute beast. All you need is a mouse and your set. The 7700s also has smart switch so it changes from apu to gpu depending on the aplication your using to optimize performance for whatever the situation you have. Absolute must have and a great buy if you either dont have the money for nvidia or a team red fan.

So far this has been an excellent laptop. It handles work tasks without effort, and all the games I've tried so far run just fine. There is a little normal tweaking to do, but overall it does what I want it to do. I removed Armory Crate due to some weird behaviour and just went with the AMD Driver Suite to manage and monitor the CPU and Graphics status. I play Forza Horizon 4, AC Odyssey, Jedi Fallen Order, and others all with good results and high to ultra graphics settings. For coding and work projects, it's a breeze. The HDMI to my external monitor is super handy, and the built in RJ45 and USB-3 and USB-C ports are welcome additions as well. Has a standard speaker jack which is nice for speakers and headphones. I *did* end up upgrading the drive to a 2TB NVME and bumped the RAM to 32GB (DDR5 -nice). 512GB for storage is just too little - I didn't want to play musical chairs with my games. Good thing is, it has a second NVMe hookup - so now I have 2.5TB storage. After these upgrades I expect this machine to last a long time. Opening the case for an upgrade is doable with a small phillips screwdriver, some plastic pry wedges and some patience / know how. Don't just pry it apart - the plastic snaps disengage nicely when done right. The lower right screw is a retaining screw - it stays - the rest come out. The retaining screw is where you want to start gently separating the shell to open it up. Battery life is average to good for a gaming PC. Overall a great little sytem!

Love This Computer!

I had an Acer Nitro 5 that had a sudden motherboard issue and had to be immediately replaced. I was looking at several different models and this was one of the ones that was in my price range. After comparing this system against the others, this was the clear cut choice to be the one that I would purchase. I am not a PC gamer per say, but I am a power user and only gaming PCs can handle my workload. I do not own desktops because I am a student who is always on the go and I need to be able to take my computer with me.
I like the processing power of this system. The screen is vibrant. I love that I was able to get an 8GB dedicated graphics card with an AMD Ryzen 7 7000 Series processor. The 16GB of RAM was insufficient for me, however I was able to purchase the 64GB maximum that I needed at a reasonable price. I wish that the host drive was slightly larger. However, I was able to add a 4TB M2 SSD as a data drive. The speed is great and I like the amount of ports it has available. I know that some people shun ASUS for having all of their ports on the left side of the system and that drives left handed users insane. But thankfully I am right handed. I like that the screen size is noticeably larger than your standard 15.6" display, however, I love that it will still fit in a backpack made for 15.6" laptops. The extra size that make it 16" does not outsize it for smaller bags. For a gaming laptop, the battery life is better than I expected. Because I do not game on the system, when I am doing basic tasks the battery lasts for longer than I would normally expected. I see that the price is lower than when I purchased it. Considering that I had no choice but to pay full price, I must admit, it was worth the difference.

Pros: obviously an amazing value for a laptop with this processor and GPU for the $720 sale price that I paid. I was thinking about upgrading the cpu, ram, and motherboard in my old desktop, but decided to go with this instead for a bit higher cost but also get a midrange modern gpu and the portability of a laptop. Definitely no regrets in the 2 months I’ve owned it. Other pros are the sturdy build quality, iGPU+dGPU giving good battery life, high refresh screen, full keyboard, big trackpad, and tons of ports.
Cons: the webcam and speakers will get the job done but are both very mediocre. The display is a bit dim and mine had some backlight bleed but hopefully you’re using an external display if you care a lot about that. The dark metal finish on the exterior will attract a few prints but not too bad. I’m gonna get a vinyl skin for the top lid to protect and mitigate that. I’m also going to buy a 2tb m2 and a 16gb ram to upgrade in the next few months, since the stock amount for those are a bit small and I want to enjoy the higher capacity and multitasking for the whole time I own it. It doesn’t necessarily need it be upgraded out of the box, but it will eventually. I’ve had some strange issues with a flashing keyboard backlight during sleep (eventually fixed by doing a bunch of googling and changing something in AC), and one time the laptop had a hard time waking up from sleep and I had to restart i think. I may have to disable some setting in AC if it starts doing that regularly (saw a solution in a YT video). But compared to a lot of the negative reviews I saw Reddit and here, I have had a pretty smooth time. Maybe the latest version of all the drivers and AC fixed some of those early issues—not sure. I didn’t update bios or do any manual driver install; I just did the normal updates in windows, AC, and myasus. I expect to see a few more weird glitches over time, but compared to the price I paid, in my opinion doing a bit of rare troubleshooting is well worth the price.

I've had a lot of gaming laptops in the past 5 years and I'll admit I did take about a year off from gaming so this is the first one I've bought since my hiatus. I'll get straight to the point and give you a brief summary of my thoughts on the ASUS TUF Gaming A16 Laptop. Later, I'll give you a little more detail for those who are interested.
The laptop has a 16" 165Hz screen and a really polished design. It's about 14x10x1 so it's slim and lightweight. There's almost no keyboard flex, adequate cooling vents, and a nicely thought out keyboard layout. It has an all AMD setup. I ran the computer through multiple benchmark tests and games, and it ran through all without a hitch. The computer is more powerful than I expected. There are 2 memory slots and 2 m.2 slots for an extra SSD. The FPS and temps were stable, cooling was adequate even when I pushed it. I believe the advantage here with AMD is the efficiency. It keeps the temperatures low and the battery charged. I've used Armoury Crate in the past and had issues like most, but this time I had absolutely no problems and I loved the interface and options available. I would advise you to try it out first before you listen to anyone telling you to uninstall or use something else.
Gaming
I ran Cyberpunk 2077 in Ultra Graphics and I was hitting between 80 and 90 with cars and people everywhere, and as high as 90 to 100 FPS in less busy scenes. CPU temps were 78 to 84 and GPU ran about 68 to 73 degrees. This was Ultra Graphics, with Armoury crate set to Turbo Mode for maximum performance.
I ran A Plague Tale: Requiem in Ultra mode too because I heard it's a graphically intensive game. It ran between 60 and 65 FPS in Ultra, CPU temp was around 73 and GPU peaked at 74 degrees.
I didn't know much about the 7700s before purchasing. I've previously had the 6700m (MSI Delta great little machine BTW) and the 6800m (Asus A15 advantage) and I do realize that they have one Asus laptop out currently with the 7600s. The easiest comparison to me is to jump on 3DMark and get a Firestrike Graphics score for DX11 followed by TimeSpy Graphics for Dx12. This gives me an idea of the graphics power. The DX12 TimeSpy Graphics score was right there slightly below a 3070ti and right above a 4060. The 7700s on Turbo Mode (armoury crate) scored an impressive 10,357 (turbo mode) on Time Spy Graphics. For comparison a 3070ti scored a 10,462. A 4060 is right below the 7700s at 10,299. A 3080 only scores a 10,836. A 4070 scores a 11,957 so as you can see it's more of a 4060 than a 4070. Firestrike which guages DX11 performance (older games), it scored a combined score of 25,569 (and a very impressive 29,652 graphics score. In Firestrike Graphics, it would tie with a 4070, and beat a 4060, 3070ti, 3080,and 7600s, but we are talking DX11 here too. I'll give you an idea of the power of this machine. A couple years ago I had an Alienware with a 2080 Super that I loved and it scored right around 9155 on TimeSpy and 20000 on firestrike so this laptop blows that out of the water.
The AMD 7735 HS 8 core processor draws 35 watts of power. It has a clock speed of about 5GHz, 8 physical cores and 16 logical cores built on the 6nm tech. I scored a 12716 on MultiCore and 1477 on SingleCore. It gets the job done without any lag.
The keyboard feels like your typical gaming keyboard, nothing special, no RGB, white backlit that offers 3 modes: solid, strobe, and breathing. I do really like the 4 keys at the top left of the keyboard on a little island, that give me access to volume, mic and a hotkey for armoury crate. There are a set of number keys as well with a small calculator on enter, available with the function key. The F1 through F12 have the usual useful options but a few unique ones as well where you can quick switch the performance mode, change keyboard brightness or pull up the aura menu.
The battery is 90 watts with a 280 watt power supply. The battery last about 4 hours, it does switch you over to silent mode when you're running in battery. I wouldn't recommend gaming on any laptop without being plugged in because it will drain fast and performance will suffer. There are silent and eco modes if you're just doing basic web browsing, watching a movie, schoolwork, or anything that doesn't require performance or cooling.
All of your ports are covered. There's a USB-C that will allow up to 100 watts and also a USB-C for Display Port hookup to an external monitor. I hooked it up to my 34" monitor and it worked great. You can use your Fn+F9 key to set to 2nd Monitor only. There is an HDMI 2.1 port and RJ-45 port for ethernet/network cables and a 3.5mm headphone jack if needed. There is also one USB 3.2 Type A port on the left, and one on the right (for your gaming mouse or peripheral)
The CPU temps idle around low 50s, while GPU idles around 45 in Turbo mode, slightly higher on performance mode. When you're gaming the bottom half of the laptop from the spacebar down is cool, while keyboard and top half can get a little hotter, but this is fairly typical for gaming laptops.
The back was fairly easy to remove and you can see the efficient cooling system all the way down to the memory and M.2. cards which are insulated nicely. The memory is Samsung DDR5 4800 so it's really fast. The wifi 6 is standard, and you'll see about 6 cooling vents. They did well with the cooling here for a gaming computer although Lenovo still does that particularly well.
You have a 16" 165hZ WUXGA IPS monitor that you can v-sync if you would like. Even though it's 300 nits it's absolutely bright enough unless you walk out into the sun. I've had a 500 nit monitor and 300 nits is all you need when gaming indoors. The only distinct difference I've seen on a laptop is when I had the 400 nit 4K LED monitor, and you don't want to game on the 4K LED 60Hz.
The webcam is your basic 720p webcam, nothing special but it does the job. It takes photos and videos with options on resolution and timers if you're taking a photo. It does have an array mic so you should be sounding good too.
External speaker Sound is good, no distortion, although external speakers have no bass. I would always recommend using headphones if you can.
For the price class this is an exceptional value, it runs cooler than my other Asus with an Intel 12700 and Nvidia 4070, and is also a little bit more stable with FPS. It has the graphics power to run any AAA title and most of them in ultra. The design of this computer was well thought out giving you the ports you need, the monitor, high refresh rate, an exceptional CPU and graphics card, a thoughtfully designed keyboard, no bloatware (MyAsus and Armoury crate or the only add-ons and they're actually useful.) You can't beat the value of this laptop and you will also be surprised by the build quality. ASUS TUF line has come a long way. I would highly recommend to anyone that wants a high performance machine on a budget. AMD has entered the race.

After gaming on the Asus TUF A16 laptop for several weeks, I can say this is a truly excellent gaming laptop.
Has the power to play the latest big budget games at high graphical settings. Doesn't slow down after being on for hours ether. The exhaust fans do become loud when this laptop is firing on all cylinders, but that is true of all gaming laptops. The display is high quality, can even go up to 165Hz. Colors are accurate and viewing angle is good.
The keyboard is backlit, so you can use it easily in a dark room. Another plus for me is that the WASD keys are not highlighted. I am a ESDF gamer, so laptops with highlighted WASD keys don't make sense. This one is more professional in appearance. Keyboard feel is good too. Num Lock doesn't have an indicator light, but the num pad still works great.
All the ports are on the sides of the laptop, so you can place it close to a wall without jamming any wires. Battery life is good. For gaming you will want it plugged in, as gaming will drain the battery quickly. If you intend to use for non-gaming the purposes, the battery life is very good. Stays powered on battery longer than most laptops.
The Ryzen 7 7735HS processor is superb. I typically saw around a mere 10% utilization while gaming. With little CPU usage Smart Shift technology can feed more power into the Radeon RX 7700S graphics to boost clock speeds. The GPU is the most important component in a gaming laptop, and this one is a doozy. Every game I threw at it ran smooth at high graphical presets.
The only issue I had was when the laptop powered down into a sleep mode, it would then power off, as if the battery and cord were unplugged and was shut down improperly. I don't know what caused this, but disabling the laptop from entering sleep prevented this problem. You can still have the display turn off, or just shut down regularly. That doesn't cause any problems. Boots up so fast you don't really need sleep/suspend mode anyway.
The SmartAccess graphics feature worked flawlessly, switching between iGPU and dGPU without cashing once. Everything else worked fine. I even rage quit a game while testing, typed on the keyboard so aggressively my finger nail caught a key cap and popped it off. I was able to click it back on, and the laptop suffered no damage. It is definitely sturdy built. I would recommend this laptop.

Ok, I'm not going to try and not cover too much that wasn't covered already. Looks wise this laptop looks sharp, very subtle and can pass for a business laptop while still looking cool for gaming. The keyboard is easy and comfortable to type on and I like that it has a full number pad. I recently was in the process of upgrading my computers to all AMD and getting away from intel+nvidia. This is one of the only laptop options I saw that came with an AMD processor and AMD graphics. After booting up I noticed there was limited bloatware and limited updates needed which was cool. I picked up this laptop on a back to school deal for $750 and I actually grabbed an open box excellent condition model for $700 so it was a great bang for the buck. I am upgrading from a lenovo slim with Intel 370m gpu. That graphics card couldn't handle any gaming whatsoever, i would constantly crash out so I traded it in for this laptop and I am very impressed for the price. I would not pay $1100 for this but $900 or less this is great. The reason why I do not think it is worth $1100. The SSD is really small. I only downloaded 3 games and I'm currently left with only 174 gb of free storage, I will an another SSD but there's an extra expense. Next is the RAM. While 16gb of RAM is great for most, I do notice a difference between 16gb and 32gb so there's an extra expense. My last complaint is that the WiFi card can not seem to pick up the WiFi 6 connection in my house. I played around with it for a while and am giving up and just upgrading the wifi card so there's another expense. I feel like I got an amazing price, a great product on an open box and this laptop is a perfect laptop for AMD loyalists. I played spiderman and read dead redemption 2 on it and averaged 90 FPS and 120 FPS respectively on HIGH settings, before I upgraded the RAM to 32gb. I haven't opened up the laptop yet but from what i've read there is 2 m.2 slots and 2 RAM slots which is AWESOME news. Totally satisfied and as long as your someone that can handle an easy m.2 install I think you will love this laptop too. PS the battery life is really good while unplugged. Spent a few nights web browsing for hours and didn't have to worry about my battery. I

Excellent build quality with minimal flex. The screen leaves a little to be desired, but for price what do ya expect? The 7700s gpu included supports frame generation in certain games such as silent hill 2 remaster . On quality settings I went from 70-80, after enabling frame generation it was averaging 100-125, full resolution. The laptop did run a little hot at around 92c, but I was not in an ideal environment. Ram and storage are easily upgradable, and there’s an extra slot for NVME storage. If you can get this laptop on sale, it is well worth the price.

I finally got a new laptop after almost 10 years. So this is definitely better than my last. Laptop runs games really well, and I haven't had any issues with lagging or freezes, so that's been great. My only issues have been that the fan can get pretty loud and the laptop and battery gets much hotter than what I'm used to. Just make sure the laptop can get good airflow and you should be good. Try to get the laptop on sale like I did though, I wouldn't recommend buying this one full price personally.

As a software developer, I require a laptop that delivers high performance, robust build quality, and versatile connectivity options. Despite not being a gamer, I find that gaming laptops often meet these needs better than traditional business or productivity laptops. The ASUS TUF Gaming A16 is a prime example of this, exceeding my expectations and requirements in several key areas.
It offers exceptional performance for software development tasks. Whether I am running multiple virtual machines, compiling code, or working with large datasets, this laptop handles everything with ease.
The display's high refresh rate provides smooth visuals, which is beneficial not only for gaming but also for general usage and development. The display is crisp and bright, reducing eye strain during long coding sessions.
The keyboard has a nice mechanical feel, offering tactile feedback that makes typing a joy.
After three weeks of use, the only drawbacks I've encountered are the lack of a fingerprint reader and the camera's incompatibility with Windows Facial Recognition. These are minor inconveniences but worth noting for those who prioritize biometric security features.

Great laptop with good cooling system.
Silent compared with other gaming laptop I have owned.
Screen is 300 nits with 100%sRGB cover so you could watch media and editing beside gaming.
Keyboard is tactile, good feeling to type on.
Backlight only white, but spread equally. Only problem the function key is hard to see when turn off the backlight
7735HS is 3+ last gent CPU as 6800 but with higher clock speed but doing great as 6800 is a great CPU. Speedy CPU.
It has 680M iGPU which is better thang 760M this gent.
RX 7700S is about 1% better than RTX4060 on gaming. Nothing much to compared. But 4060 has DLSS which is more available than AMD FSR. But RAW performance I will say 7700S is abit better than 4060.
Plentty spot for upgrading from hard drive to RAM.
Batttery is great. Turn of AMD smart access would be better in my opinion. Pick either Eco or Optimize then Silent fan would last you 7 to 8 hours with 60% brightness on when doing youtube, web browsing, and office.
Overall, recommended if you want to buy a good system with 16 inches.
Bestbuy is great on let you try out in store with same laptop but with 7600S in store.

Awesome laptop! Got this as a gift for my son as his old computer was outdated. This runs his games great and high FPS. The fans do run loud when gaming may want to get a cooler to set laptop on (and maybe headphones so you don't hear the fans). This laptop exceeded my expectations and the price was reasonable. I would recommend this laptop to someone in the market for a new computer!

Great laptop, very clear and sharp screen. Lots of customization available as far as settings is concerned. Memory was on the small side so I added a 2TB SSD in the second available slot and use that for storage of downloads and documents. I don't game very much, mostly older legacy games so it probably has way more power than I will need. It does run hotter than my old MSI laptop but I keep it on a cooler with 2 fans running so it hasn't bothered me yet. The only downside so far is the lack of enough USB ports. It has 2 C type ports and 2 USB ports and I use USB stuff way more than C type so I ordered a set of 2 C-to-USB adapters to help out there. Unfortunately, the 2 C ports are so close together that the adapters won't fit side by side so I'm still limited to a total of 3 usb ports. There is plenty of space available on each side of the laptop so the motherboard could have been laid out a bit better. Other than that minor complaint I am very happy with it and recommend it. It did come with Windows 11 which is so different than W10 that I'm used so that requires a learning curve for me, but that isn't the fault of the laptop but more with Microsoft forcing everyone to upgrade from W10.

Solid Battery Life & Gaming

Solid battery life out of the box and so far have played some modern games including Jedi Survivor with high settings at very smooth rates. The IGPU makes it a good option for someone looking for solid mid-range gaming and a work laptop that can do 5+ hours of non-gaming activity away from an outlet. Nice big screen too for those with bad eyes like me.
It is bulky and heavy and the power brick is massive so not very portable and gets pretty hot unless you prop it up for better fan cooling. Wish it had better SSD storage too.

Overall very pleased with this machine. I've owned several gaming laptops from Asus, MSI, HP, Dell, Alienware, Acer(never again). This is definitely one of the quieter of any, performance is great, keyboard has a good feel, screen is nice, and overall has a good quality feel to it. All of the USB and display connections are on the side and it feel a little inconvenient there, along with the power input as well. Better placement in the back would have been a nice touch. Gaming and benchmarking turns out reasonably good results and the hardware performs as it should. The fans are quiet and do a good job keeping temps under control. Wifi speeds are great and allow quick download speeds and great overall connection

It's a very solid laptop. Originally my guy group was saying get a desktop this and that but I really wanted something portable and something that can definitely hang with their desktops. This laptop definitely is good for the price has not given me any issues at all but definitely recommend it if somebody wants a good gaming laptop and doesn't want to break the bank.
