I recently purchased the ASUS TUF Gaming F16, and it's exceeded my expectations for work and gaming. With its impressive specs, including an Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, this laptop delivers exceptional performance at a reasonable price. While it's slightly heavy for its size, weighing in at 2.2 kg, the laptop's robust build quality and durable design make up for it. The 16-inch Full HD+ display boasts a 165Hz refresh rate, providing crisp images and smooth visuals. Heat management is also well-handled, thanks to the laptop's advanced cooling system. Although the fans can get loud in Turbo mode, they're relatively quiet during normal use. Some minor drawback include: Battery life. last 5-6 hrs in normal use. But despite that, Its upgradeability, comprehensive port selection, and fast charging capabilities are added bonuses. Overall, I'd definitely recommend the ASUS TUF Gaming F16.

This was my 2nd pick after returning an Alienware laptop that was just to big to use as a work computer. This computer brings function and performance in one sleak build! Asus never lets me down with their machines. So far daily work tasks are flawless under moderate loads and videos are crisp and clean. Havent had a chance to test some games on it, but for me this thing runs great.

Amazing performance and speed of the computer. Does blow the fans loudly but only for a couple of seconds. Haven't had any problems of it overheating. Battery life could be better but overall, for the price this is one of the best laptops you can get, especially if you are an engineering student.

been pc shopping for 40+ years... laptop shopping for 25+ years... i'm pretty darned tech savvy, and i know what i want. still... i 'upgrade' every 5-ish years, and tech moves so quickly pc/laptop shopping can be fairly stressful. i seriously take my time researching and shopping for the best value/bang-for-the-buck... THIS MAY BE THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD. tbf... this is no gaming powerhouse. but it is EXTREMELY capable, and by fair better value for money than any 5070+ setup. and another tbf... i did buy this during a sale for <$1,200... and took advantage of a promotion whereby i received an additional 15% off on day-one purchase (with new best buy card)... but this is an ~ $2,000 setup selling for a very reasonable ~$1,550. if you can acquire this in a sale for ~$1,200... BUY IT. this is THE once-in-a-generation opportunity where a brand is trying to develop some credibility and build a name for itself by offering an EXTREMELY viable product at rock-bottom cost. awesome sku, highly recommended.

Very nice laptop amazing quality, screen visuals, fast booting up, very fast. I have absolutely no complaints on this device. Would recommend to this gaming laptop to all gamers getting into pc or who wants a mobile option. Fans are loud, it does produce alot of heat but havent had any over heating issues. Battery life isnt the longest when all settings are maxed out.

    It’s Okay

The laptop is okay overall, but it does have some issues. The screen can be tiring on the eyes, the keyboard takes some getting used to, and the fans can be quite loud. The pre-installed Microsoft system doesn’t fully support Chinese, so the interface ends up being partly in Chinese and partly in English, and I haven’t been able to add a proper Chinese input method despite trying many solutions. System updates also fail from time to time, which can be frustrating. The ASUS software included is not very helpful either — it asks for registration frequently but doesn’t really assist with tasks like uninstalling programs or checking hardware information. My previous Lenovo laptop didn’t have these issues, though unfortunately Lenovo doesn’t currently offer a 16-inch model. The main advantage of this laptop is its relatively good value for the price. With the discount, it was only about $300 more expensive than in China; without the discount, the difference would have been closer to $700. Other brands in the U.S. are often at least $1,000 more expensive. After comparing different models across brands, I also noticed that Chinese versions usually come with the highest configurations, while the U.S. versions tend to be the lowest configurations with some compromises. In that sense, this model is still one of the better options available.

Such a powerfull Nvidia video card inside to use Autocad, Rhino or Photoshop, more memory RAM and and and powerfull intel Microprocessor with a great market price. Do not overpay other brands. Loved the Specs, but not the Keyboard, so returned

I loved this laptop for all the power under the hood (Intel Chip, 32MB RAM) and the excellent screen. It had great looks (except for the annoying habit of flashing the keyboard lights while sleeping). Ultimately, however, I had to exchange it because of the keyboard and touchpad layout. I do not have huge hands by any means, but I am a touch typist and hold my hands over the home keys (ASDF - JKL;). Simply put, the keys were cramped closely together and the keypad was off-center too far to the left side of the laptop. As a result, I found it difficult to type on this laptop. My fingers were scrunched together, my index fingers were practically touching when on the home keys, and my wrists had to be held at uncomfortable angles. In fact, I did not like how little room was available on the left side to rest my wrist when gaming with the keyboard. As a result, I took advantage of Best Buy's incredible benefits offered through their Best Buy Memberships program and exchanged the laptop for the ASUS ROG Strix G16. So far, I am very happy with that machine and will review when it has more mileage on it. I would absolutely recommend this product IF AND ONLY IF you get a chance to check out the keyboard to see if it is a good fit for you. I will say that I will miss the numeric keys, but they did not outweigh the need for more space on the left. By the way, trust me and do not believe people who say that Best Buy Memberships are not worth the money. The fact that I could exchange the laptop almost two months later was an incredible benefit. I ordered the TUF online, so it proved invaluable to be able to "test drive" it to see if I really wanted to exchange it. Trust also that I am a real user and not a paid endorser for Best Buy. Just sharing my good fortune and honest endorsement.

Great little laptop! I use it for CAD instead of gaming which can really drag a computer down on intense drawings. This little computer hasn't had the slightest issues keeping up with that sort of task along with running other programs all at the same time. Lots of things to love about this thing. For the price it packs a punch. Typing on it feels outstanding and I would even say, better than high end key boards in my opinion. If I had one thing I would change about it, it would be the 4 keyboard keys that light up differently than the rest because the keys are a near translucent key. But obviously wasn't a deal breaker for me and now that I have had it for some time, that doesn't really bother me anymore. If your debating this laptop as an option, I would say you wont regret it. Its a great running machine!

I got this laptop open box on sale for around $1,064 with NO sales tax. I must say, i dont regret it. it's a beast. It might be better than my actual tower pc. The battery life is better than i expected. The noise levels, honestly, aren't too bad, and they have a good port selection. If the screen was a bit better and brighter, it would be 5 stars. But for the price i paid personally, it was worth every penny

Very good laptop highly efficient in what it does, I’ve only ever struggled with battery life but even then it’s about 5 hours minimum. Screen is a little dull precious laptop was OLED so this laptop felt less vibrant in colors but still a good screen.

The laptop functions very well and the specs are fantastic. The display could be brighter in different environments but overall clear and responsive. The only issue seems to be compatibility issues with some games. I am getting disconnected while playing fairly non intensive games while my family members playing the same games and on the same wifi as me are not experiencing any difficulties. They have older laptops, they connect in different orders and yet still I experience connection issues.

This is a great laptop, especially for gaming. The performance is impressive thanks to the Intel Core i7 processor and 32GB of RAM — everything runs smoothly without lag. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card handles all the latest games really well, and the 165Hz screen makes everything look super fluid and sharp. The build quality feels solid, and the cooling system keeps it from overheating during long sessions. Overall, it’s a very solid choice for gamers. Highly recommended!

This computer is the price of a low to mid range computer, but it’s a beast. Even though I’ve been reading some fairly heavy games, I haven’t come across any issues with it yet. The only problem I’ve had is it really bad battery life, but as long as you keep it plugged in it’s fine.
