Positives: Not too ugly Z490 chipset Works like it should if you can get it to boot into windows Negatives: About half the time it posts to a blank screen, and I have to cut power at the power supply, when power is restored, it boots just fine as if no problem existed It over volts the cpu to 1.5v or a bit higher if left on auto, with power limits disabled It will self overclock, but if I try any manual overclock it just locks up. I will probably return this board You don't buy a k chip with the intent of not overclocking it...

I built both an Intel and AMD system a couple of years ago, around the same time for around the same price. I have to say, between the two, I greatly prefer this board. I usually go with other brands, but I have to say I'm very impressed by this board. For under $200 at the time I bought it you get: -onboard Wi-Fi -both RGB and Gen 2 aRGB headers -2x M.2 slots -onboard lighting with RGB sync options (works with Razer and Cosair) -front USB 3 header -great BIOS support, as well as AiSuite software to tweak BIOS settings in Windows It's getting a little dated with the newer generation upon us, but still holds up very well!
