The machine in question is a little older, and runs Windows 10. Build quality is excellent - this adapter has a definite weight to it that isn't apparent from renders. Installation is incredibly straightforward on Windows machines - I just plugged it into a spare USB port, ran the driver installation executable when prompted, and was all set. Easy as that. Haven't encountered any problems.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.worked pretty well, has drive embedded in its own USB storage when plugged in. wifi7 worked just fine on my win 11 pro laptop throughput was fairly consistent the box i received did have a sticker on it that says wifi 7 is available on windows 11 and not windows 10, i dont have win10 so i dont know if that is true or not

My issue was latency and whether it’s the adapter or not its too much of an issue for me to keep using it and I’m deciding to try another option. I do have around 7 people in my household all using wifi and so I have to give the adapter credit for what it gave me with so much congestion.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Used with USB 3.0 port on an older Gigabyte Brix mini pc, never saw anything over 300Mbps using the eero 7 dual band mesh WiFi system with Xfinity 1.1 Gbps service. I ultimately returned this items because it didn't perform as expected based on the specifications stated by ASUS.
