I bought this as a gift for a family member to replace an old laptop. The change was day to night. Laptop is fast, starts quick. No noise and good battery life. So far they are enjoying the new laptop. Just right for the moment, of online work. Ultra recommended!

Great laptop for microsoft office users, emailing and internet. However, would recommend keys in black. The silver keyboard can be difficult to see.

I needed a work computer really bad and I saw this one! It came really fast and has exceeded my expectations! I am super pleased with the sleek design and super speed! I am super happy I chose this one and have to complaints at all!

I agree with the other reviewers who talked about the keyboard being ridiculously difficult to see, and the number pad keys being out of the typical order increasing that difficulty. Also, I'd only had mine for 5 months when the Bluetooth died. It is under warranty and I could send it in for repair, but I can't be without it for work, so I just got a dongle. But I think hardware failure at 5 months is completely unacceptable. Otherwise, it's been good.

Great computer, keys are hard to see in certain light and the number pad is keyed different then a standard machine but I’m happy with it so far.

This seems great so far. I don’t have any trouble at all seeing the letters on the keyboard. I read several reviews saying you can’t see the letters very well. If you have poor eyesight or type in the dark, get a backlit keyboard. It’s a nice computer for $550 (on sale)

For the price you really can't complain. It is super fast and reliable. The only drawback is the keyboard but still great.

Nice Laptop. The only thing I do t care foe is the keyboard because sometimes you can’t see the letters. Silver on silver.

I love the specs. It's pretty fast and I'm mostly using it for writing papers. However, the battery sucks. It lasts less than 3 hours and takes about the same amount of time for it to be fully charged. This is so annoying!!

Have the device battery ever last above three (3) hours ? We are recommending to uninstall and reinstall the device battery driver and reset the bios as well, please follow the steps provided below.
1) Right click your start icon.
2) Go to device manager.
3) Click the "Batteries" section. A list of devices will appear.
4) Right-click the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" device and click "Uninstall."
5) Then restart the device.
Bios Reset:
1.Ensure the device is turned off.
2. Push the power button and tap on "F2".
3. Once into the BIOS, tap "F9" and select "Yes".
4. Then tap on "F10" and select "Yes",(to save settings and restart).

Does the job for what I needed. Only problem is the keyboard. Silver color blends in and cannot see letters very well.

I bought this when I retired to replace a work laptop. My work laptop had 13 inch laptop without a numeric keypad. I thought I would really want the keypad and the larger screen. I had two additional screens at work to complement the laptop. In hindsight I should have opted for a 13 or 14 inch laptop and used a second monitor. I don't use the keypad that often. The back lighting on this model is almost useless unless you are in a completely dark room

The only reason why I gave it a 4 is because the keyboard is extremely transparent! Other than that I love this!

I really like the laptop however it’s super hard to see the keys on the keyboard.....there is no back lighting.

Awesome, awesome, awesome unit! Very fast! Very good maker. No issues at all. Great for gaming as well. I love this unit. Highly recommend. Must buy this PC over other brands. One of the best.

I bought this for my wife from Best Buy.com. Instead of black keys with white lettering or white keys with black lettering, it had shades of grey that made them difficult to read. So we swapped it for a different laptop in the store.
