Perfect for a college student. This was used all year with no issues and met all the specs the college required. Plus it was very light to carry across campus to all classes.

Good laptop for the price. Good quality image, and my favorite part: Touchscreen, babyyyy!! I am planning on upgrading the 8GB of memory, so that would be my only issue. The little amount of RAM memory. But if you're trying to run too many processes at the same time like me, an memory expansion would help out a lot. i noticed a few days ago that the laptop feels a little too warm when using it while charging. But taking in consideration how hot it is, it was to be expected.

Excellent...my only problem is with the volume. The volume I have it on highest setting. Have to lean into the lap top to hear clearly, Other than that it's an excellent buy.

this is probably one of the best purchases ive ever made at best buy. my main thing was to use it for a dj program but it does so much more. i dont game but i use it for everything else and it is really fast for all my applications. the battery doesn't last for a super long time but i don't really mind plugging in when i need a charge. other than that i live the dual hard drives as well. i was going to upgrade the ram but really i don't even think i need too.

happy to have an extra laptop to travel with. Great speed and great storage. Fantastic price given the chip shortages.

This is a wonderful laptop. We are looking at purchasing a 2nd one. It is fast and the display has amazing color.

It is a very good laptop. It is touchscreen and backlit keyboard, even though it says it isn’t. The memory options are great, love that. Everything is fantastic except for a few things that were not a deal breaker for me. The sound quality is definitely subpar, but that’s fine because I always intended to get different speakers. The camera is also subpar, which does suck a little bit but again I always planned to get a different camera. And the battery life is actually terrible, but since I won’t be using it away from the charger much if at all made it so o can compromise, although I really really do wish it was a lot better.

I needed a computer to replace my iMac, which after only 5 years, was buggy and slow since updating to Catalina. I found this laptop to be excellent value for the price. I love the touchscreen feature, and the screen is nice and large, as are the keys. Thus far no complaints and not missing Apple like I though I would lol. I’ve already updated to Windows 11 and am excited that was a glitch-free process!

I love the feel and light weight of this SSD laptop. The keyboard is comfortable, I like having the 10 key, although it took a min ute to get used to the zero being off center. My great concern is that the adapter/charger cord is already coming undone to where bare wires are exposed right at the junction of the plug/cord and for that, it loses a star. I've only used it for less than a month, even though I purchased it earlier (I had surgery and was just using my old one). I am very careful with my cords from having had so many poor quality ones break at the connection into the laptop, and I'm very disappointed that this one has such a thin insulation covering.

Good value. Would have been 5 stars but speaker and headphone jack audio is very low. Contacted ASUS and they wanted to do a repair, but after purchasing second one for another customer it was the same way - just a design flaw. A 3rd party utility is required to boost the audio. Other than that, when it was on sale it was a real good deal for all the features.

My old laptop crapped out and this was a good replacement. Fast and reliable

I’ve had this laptop for over 2 years and still love it! It works great for everything I need it for including surfing the web, managing my electronic files, and allowing my kids to complete online school work. Plus it looks good!

Still learning this laptop's features but so far it is great. Touch screen is new to me and is taking getting used to, but the mouse pad works well. Light weight but feels solid and the 1TB SSD is awesome. I haven't picked up a Type C USB hub yet but I'm looking forward to plenty of fast peripherals.

The price is good for what you get. I am a computer engineer and have purchased and setup 4 of these for friends. The one problem I have seen is that the back light can bleed on some units. One of the 4 was perfect. 1 unit was extremely bad with bleeding at the top and right side of the screen this unit was returned. The other 2 units had very slight bleeding that you could only see on a absolute black background. The perfect unit was purchased online, the other 3 came from the same BB store, so this may just be an issue with a particular serial number run.

There's a lot to like about this VivoBook 15. It's got a solid processor, and incredibly easy to upgrade memory and hard drive. How easy to upgrade? Just take out 10 phillips head screws and carefully pry off the back case and there you go. Note however that memory sites such as Crucial are WRONG about how much memory this bad boy can take. They'll encourage you to buy a stick of 16 gb, but it's a waste of money. You've already got 8 gb soldered in, and it can only take 20 gb total. Your best (and really only) option is to buy a stick of 8 gb for under $30. A new NVME hard drive will run you in the $100 range. That all being said...this computer can handle me and my tendency to have quite a few tabs open. It doesn't choke or cry. It can handle me utilizing photoshop. It can't handle casting videos to my TV, or playing high-quality videos (or even games). The colors in general tend to look washed out. Games (like Bejeweled Blitz) will often end up with pink or purple lines through them. It's disheartening, but if that's the worst of my issues, I'm willing to accept it. YMMV. If you can deal with the color/video issues, this is a great little laptop. I'd recommend it.
