I had my eye on this laptop, bought it for my wife instead and it is so fast compared to her previous 12-year-old. The touch screen is nice to have at times. She loves it. Lots of RAM and storage memory. Great wi-fi, connects to printer quickly. I would buy another if my laptop was older.

Love it - works great with Linux Mint - steps I took to get linux installed Boot to BIOS - press F2 (hold it) at start up In the BIOS disable fast boot, and disable RST (this will make windows unbootable!) Reboot Ignore the Windows "Opps" screen as windows can no longer boot. Pop in the USB live stick Reboot, press F2 (hold it) and back into the bios Go to bootup options, and select the USB stick Might boot a bit slower, give it time its running from the USB Once the Linux live desktop loads... Enable and connect to WIFI Special note on this...Mint will download the drivers it needs while installing Once connected to WIFI, start the install, and make sure install media codecs and drivers is selected. Personally I loaded Linux on the SSD, and completely removed Windows. If you wanted a dual boot option, I think - not sure - you would need to ... Disable Fast Boot Leave RST alone, and let windows live on it Install Linux on the 1TB HDD (Note the installer will not see the SSD while its in RST mode)

This is an awesome laptop. Very fast for work. I use it to read and markup Construction prints and drawings. Some of my markups can be quite taxing on tablets and cause them to lock up but on my laptop there is no issues. I would recommend this laptop to anybody in the construction field!

Got this for myself during early black friday specials. It has a touch screen but it does not say that on the specifications. That was a bonus. I also like how they keyboard lights up when in use. Processor keeps up with me.

Its battery is running out quickly even when I bought it.. I wanted to bring it back but I travelled abroad... I would like to change/trade in if possible. It's in excellent condition.

This was a present for my daughter. She was against getting a touch screen. I searched high and low and found a laptop that was everything we wanted in a laptop without the touch screen. All the information on this says "No" on the touch screen. Well it is a touch screen. Normally this would not be a problem, but this time it is. Everything else seems fine. It boots up fast, no problems with wifi and all the memory is fantastic for my daughters music. I took the star off for it being a touch screen.

Overall I like this laptop. It's great for working in cloud based programs. It's pretty compact and light but not too small. The only thing I think would be better is the speaker. It isn't quite powerful loud enough.

What has been said of this laptop is true. It has bad speakers, but using headphones negates this. Things have a washed out appearance at times, but it usually looks fine. I just know it runs a whole lot better than my last laptop, with twice as much RAM and an SSD drive. It can run more games than my last. It was overall a step up, but mine was fairly basic. I think it will serve my purposes quite well, as just about everything loads faster. Steam runs better, but it's still a bit slow since it's on the normal drive. Here's hoping it lasts a good long while.

I love how fast the SSD boots up and is ready to go from stone cold off. Comparable to iPad! It is a touch screen and does not have the touchpad fingerprint reader, seems to be an even trade off for me. The back up TB should be enough storage for years.

Computer is lightweight and responsive. Backlit keyboard is nice. Screen is actually a touchscreen, which is not mentioned in the product specs. I don't ordinarily use touchscreen, but you usually don't find it at this price point.

Nice construction, & sufficiently fast for home use. Gift for my wife to replace her 10 year old HP. Many more features over the new HPs in the same price range. Updates, installations & setup was smooth.

I love this laptop. My only complaint is that the built-in speakers are on the bottom of the computer and the poor sound quality. do not produce enough sound.

Great laptop with great speed. The only feature I don't like is the mouse as it has too little space doing too many things, and I often jump around not wanting to go where it takes me

Not very stylish, but absolutely functional and affordable. Great light weight computery. Battery life is good. Size is slight larger than a chromebook but not as big as your standard laptop.

Good computer. Fast and reliable so far. I will update my review in a few weeks yo reflect my impression of this machine. So far, happy and content.

The laptop performs well. Software loads quickly and the functionality is good. I HATE the keyboard. I work with numbers all day, and the placement of the number pad is just different enough from every other keyboard I’ve worked with that it’s slowed my work measurably. The +, -, page up & page down keys are nowhere near the placement of most keyboards. The decimal key is just off enough to be maddening. If you’re not a numbers person, none of what I’m saying will matter to you. If you’re a bean counter like me, you’ll toss this in the pool

I was so excited to purchase this item. Well, not excited with it anymore. There is no SOUND you cannot even hear anything on this laptop. I know it is not a sound bar but come on. Let me hear some sound. The size is great, and love the touch screen which was not mention, and also the back light are lovely. For the price you get what you paid for.
