I have been using this laptop since 8 months and it has never let me down. The battery life is solid and woks like a charm without any issues. Would recommend if your budget is around 700USD

I am more than pleased. This laptop has met all my needs / specifications. I have had no issues. The performance and price are within reason. I was however, hoping to have purchased it at a bit lower price. That being said, it is an excellent laptop.

Disappointed with the ASUS Vivobook 16 OLED (M1605) – Unreliable Performance and Poor Customer Support
I purchased the ASUS Vivobook 16 OLED (M1605) with high expectations, drawn in by its sleek design, vibrant OLED display, and promising specifications. Unfortunately, my experience has been frustrating and disappointing, mainly due to a persistent issue and ASUS's lackluster customer support.
Random Shutdowns – A Dealbreaker
From early on, the laptop began shutting down unexpectedly without warning or any obvious cause. These random shutdowns occur during both light browsing and more intensive tasks, making the device extremely unreliable for work, study, or entertainment. No error messages or logs provide clues, and the issue has only worsened over time.
Troubleshooting to No Avail
I’ve updated the BIOS, drivers, and Windows itself, yet the problem persists. I’ve also tried various power settings and hardware diagnostics, but nothing resolves the random shutdowns. It seems like a deeper hardware issue that shouldn't exist in a relatively new laptop.
Customer Support – Virtually Nonexistent
Perhaps even more frustrating than the technical problem is ASUS's poor customer support. Reaching a live person is a challenge. Their phone lines are often unavailable, emails go unanswered for days (if at all), and online chat support appears to be either under-resourced or simply ineffective.
Final Verdict
The ASUS Vivobook 16 OLED (M1605) could have been a solid mid-range laptop, but the constant shutdowns make it almost unusable and the lack of effective customer support compounds the problem. I cannot recommend this laptop, especially for anyone who depends on a reliable machine for school or work. ASUS needs to address these hardware quality issues and drastically improve their customer service.
