I bought this computer to replace an old Dell laptop. I specifically wanted to have a computer with an i7 processor that I could do my work on and run a couple of games when I'm not working, so I was drawn to the graphics chip as well. It runs my occasional games and photo editing software quite well, and it is super fast with everything else I've needed it to do. It starts up faster than any computer I've ever owned, and I have no complaints. It was the best value computer I found with the specs I was looking for. I'm super happy with it.

Great buy overall. Two small caveats: The keyboard when lighted doesn't have a good contrast with the silver background. The number pad is limited, needs to be canceled when using other features. Overall, it is lightening fast, love it so far.

I had been on the market for a while now since my toshiba brokedown. After making a final decicision I needed a backlit keyboard, i7, good ram (12gb) a good graphics card, and a number keypad. I had seen some hps with the finger scanner and what not for about the same price. The only thing setting it apart is the screen pad its great not much of use when using it in the bedroom for late browsing. But for normal use its great at multitasking. The hello feature IS AWESOME. Where it recognises your face I tried it at low light and its great really fast too. Had to do an initial restart for all updates to take effect took only about 1 minute?... over all its a great laptop for business and for personal usesage. The screen is great really bright. The only downside I did see is thst the backlit doesn't really contrast with the keyboard its basically all platinum looking with a shiny light at the bottom.. wouldve been nice another color i guess but nothing to really be upset about.

I have to get used to a smaller screen than my previous Samsung, so far, I'm satisfied with purchase. The dual screen touchpad is also something to get used to, I haven't had a reason to use it in the last 2wks of receiving. So far for me its unnecessary.

Lightening fast. Graphics are outstanding. Mega memory. I bought mainly to be a workhorse for Quicken and Microsoft office. Meets those demands easily but is Capable of so much more.

Pros: Sleek design Silver color Light-weight Cons: Volume sucks. (Why would they put the speakers on the bottom of the laptop?) Can hardly hear with the volume at 100. Hard to see keys with the color used against silver. Battery life sucks. Not a fan of the mouse-pad/screen. Not needed.

I bought this laptop for my son as he is now going to college. So far the laptop is working out real well. It was a good investment. It is quick and has lots of storage. My son has not had any issues with this laptop and he has had it now for 3 semesters.

My previous ASUS died on me after only having it 3 years. It was a shock since I hadn't experienced any issues with it, especially compared to THREE prior DELL laptops. So far so good with this model ASUS. Trust that I will get more than 3 years out of this laptop.

The like the laptop except the touch pad is annoying. Every time I use it as a cursor, it activates one of the default programs on the touch pad. So I had to disable the touchpad and use a wireless mouse.

it's lightweight. battery last a long time. I wasn't a fan of the smaller screenpad... but it's easy to turn off the screen and just use it as a touchpad. nice to have the option. I've read other reviews about the back-lit keys being too hard to see, but in dark or nighttime it's fine... plus you can turn off the back lighting and they keys are well contrasted. It's got everything under the hood I need. Easy to set up!

If I could give a zero rating, I would. I need to replace my 10-year-old Samsung Chromebook (which was amazing!) and when I researched similar laptops, this ASUS VivoBook had the highest recommendation for my needs. I’m not sure if I just received a lemon, but I had the laptop for less than a day before setting up a return. Within the first 5 hours of ownership, I had to contact ASUS tech support because it wouldn’t turn on after the initial set-up. I performed 3 hard resets before contacting support and it still didn’t help. ASUS tech support recommended I perform a factory reset (on a brand new laptop!) which I did. Still did not fix the issue. They then said I should send to them for repair. Nope! It was returned to Best Buy and I’ll find a different laptop.

I love my new laptop. Everything I expected and more.

Great accounting laptop for those who are working from home!

Get easy to use laptop for multitasking, battery life was as expected, screen has amazing graphics,shipment was fast and couldn’t be happier with this buy, I would recommend this to friends and family

This is the laptop I was always looking for my high schooler. He likes it because in this laptop he has ideally two screens for quicker work

I try to but laptop two times from best buy, I was waiting laptop few days, and this is always canceled with no reasons.
