So my son plays lots of video games and well his xbox was connected to our living room tv so it would kind of cause some back and forth yelling between his mom because she wanted to watch her shows but they had a compromise what times they would be using the tv but it didn’t last long till they went back at it again so I told my son why doesn’t he connect the Xbox to his Mac but then he proceeded to tell me that he would need a specific “dongle” and well I’m not paying 80 dollars for a small item so one day we were at bestbuy and I my son said how about a monitor and I must say he had the happiest look when I bought him the monitor now he’s telling his friends he has a “setup” and well as long as he is happy I’m happy

I love this monitor it helped me up my game I play PS4 competitive call of duty and could not ask for better. For more context I'm a 22k on UMG (if you don't know what UMG don't worry about it)The performance for the price is outstanding. it does come with speakers however they are not the best, however if you are looking into buying this monitor it is NOT a deal breaker. I would say BUY this monitor. It is 1ms, I feel a noticible difference while playing, it did up my game. I'm not a gamer; I'm a writer. I wanted something large enough to show two Word docs side by side, but not too big. I had three other criteria: it had to tilt, be a matte screen and have ultra-low blue light. (This 'blue light' stuff is starting to scare me.) Since at 1 ms it's super-fast, I figured it was for gamers, and they'd want sharpness, too. The image is sharp! And the price was right, so this was the one. Easy to assemble and hook up out of the box. The only issue I had was that the VGA connection (the heavy head with screws) would not stay put on the side of my laptop. (That has no screw holes.) The connection would drop each time I touched the cable by mistake. So I went back to BB and got a $10 HDMI cable. Now it's perfect. (And my eyes are happy ...)

EASY TO USE. You can assign two hotkeys for a number of different options including volume and brightness for example. This way if you want to adjust the volume from the built in speakers, all you need to do is hit any of the buttons underneath the screen on the bottom right to bring up the hotkey options and hit the button per your choice of option whether it be volume, brightness or changing the input or bringing up the main menu. Beautiful and lightweight. You can title the monitor to help your neck feel better for viewing. It is light enough to carry with little effort. Protection for your eyes. It provides up to 70% reduction in blue light. Blue light for those who don't know (many don't) is not good for the eyes, can cause eye fatigue and blurriness in the short-term and possibly cause vision loss or other eye problems in the long-term. The theory is a debated one but I myself work 8 hours in front of the computer screen and have felt the short-term effects. And as a hardcore gamer as a young boy, I ended up with glasses at the early age of 14. This monitor is also flicker-free and sports anti-glare coating. The perfect protection for the digital generation in which we live. 1ms response time with 60Hz refresh rate is perfect for console gaming. Played Halo 5 on the Xbox One on this monitor and it was a smooth and beautiful experience. For the console gamer or heavy computer user (for work or game), I recommend this gorgeous monitor 100%. And with this forgiving price of $110, you cannot ask for a better deal unless it gets discounted!

Needed a versatile monitor at a low price. Wanted one not too big (24" or less) and they has VGA, DVI and HDMI inputs plus good resolution. The Asus fulfills all three. Very satisfied.

The resolution and pixel count does a great job. The sleep mode takes care of itself, and is rapid restart. Could'nt be more satisfied.

I play Call of Duty competitively and wanted a monitor with 1ms response time. This monitor blew my expectations away and has been great. One of the cheaper and better 1ms monitors on the market and has the quality of a higher priced monitor.

I should have done a bit more research in gaming reviews before purchasing. The colors are beautiful. However, you will only see 60 FPS with this monitor, regardless of what your computer is able to handle. This budget monitor is better for my office applications, because it offers options that make the screen easier on my eyes when I’m working/writing.

Excellent picture quality. Affordable with HDMI and DVI connections. Unfortunately no HDMI or DVI cable, but that's about the only downside.

Was bought for Christmas gift and searched all over internet for right features for gaming system our son is putting together with the right price and reputation. Seemed like one of the best place

This monitor fits everything I was looking for, it has great picture and built in speakers, very light, and wide monitor.

This monitor is a very good startup monitor, especially for the price. The picture is great and I have no complaints about that, which is really what I was looking for in the first place. The usability of the monitor is a little tough as the menu is somewhat difficult to navigate. The external speakers are also very poor sound quality, but as I said, I wasn't looking for this, rather a good picture. So I am very happy with the purchase.
