Had problems in my apartment getting standard reception online from basic net gear from Comcast. Got this router and it made a world of difference. Still a bit slow but considering where I live and the number of accounts online at te apt complex, it does a very decent job. Worth the price.

While this is NOT a high throughput router, it is great for over 98% of available internet services. It performs great in crowded wifi zones with great range and provides impressive Wifi throughput. Decent features for a secure home network. Overall a good router to buy for the price.

Well.. i am satisfied in general but if you try to use the LAN since i have a desktop without wifi modem, it only gives you the download speed upto 1 mb... i am not sure about the reason but wifi at the same time gives upto 30 mb. I believe this is how the router is set to be.

Set up was not as easy as I would have liked. Problems with cable modem that was also a router. Eventually this was sorted out with two calls to support - I feel that they should have been able to diagnose the problem in one call as I don't think this is an unusual situation.

Works great in every room in a two story house. One day the 2.4 GHZ band was really slow for some reason, but after switching to the 5 GHZ it was fine. Something might have been interfering with the lower frequency. Setup was easy.

This router is much better than the Linksys AC 1200 I last purchased. However; the signal was inadequate when located in corner of desk. Moved it and is now working well although I am using a signal extender to bolster signal for TV about 30' away (about 3 walls).

Its a great deal. I bought it because i had a 1 year old only modem router and it was always a problem with the Internet. Then i just find out that was better have the modem and router separate. Now works perfect with this device.

Works great, for a tech savvy family. We stream alot of video from Netflix, Amazon on our tv. I have used the same router for my XBOX1 for online gaming, and it has not let me down. Very impressed for the price, and the quality.

I have the Amazon Echo which is a really nice device. Bought the Google Home to compare. The google home is more responsive to my questions than the echo. Looking forward to seeing what devices I will be able to control with it.

Got this item after struggling with a lot o f routers with poor signal range. I live in a apartment, but the signal reach the street in from of the apartment! I owe it for two months and so far never had a single problem with it.

This router works well but it didn't have the range I was hoping it would. I live in an average size ranch home and due to my set up, the router is on one end of the house. On the opposite side of the house even the 2.4 GHZ is hit or miss.

The model number does not match with the actual model number in the box. Other than that small issue, this thing works very well, and the app is useful. Purchased over the Google Onhub mainly because of the strong Asus brand, and feature set.

The ASUS router was purchased when my Netgear Nighthawk decided to quit working... I've had good luck with ASUS Motherboards and Video Cards so it was a no brainer when I saw this for sale at Bestbuy.

All my experience has been with combination router and cable modems this is the first time that I've used separate modem and router and have had no issues so far just wish I done it sooner...

I was able to easily install this router. I had some reservations, however the salesman gave me great pointers. You can't beat the technical assistance you receive from the Best Buy employees!

Set this up recently, and it works great when it works. The 5g range is limited and does not reach to the corners of my 725 sqft condo. If you need something to cover a larger area, this may not be the best for you.

Lightening took out my wireless router that I had for 3 years. Went to Best Buy to buy the same brand and the Salesman sold me on the Asus. So far I've been happy with his recommendation.

Router works great. It was time for an upgrade. The first one I tried constantly dropped wifi service. Took it back and the employee recommended this one and I've not had any problems.

I was upgading from a 5+ year old N router looking for more control. The QoS settings on the router are great for this price. Also, I have had a much more stable connection with provider.
