Bought this to replace a Linksys router. Like the dual band. Streaming devices on 5g, phone/laptop/tablet on 2.4g. Works great! Improved performance and range

This router has great coverage and speed. It is a replacement for a router that kept turning itself off. No issues with this one!

This is my third Asus router, replacing one that burned out after about 3 years of heavy use. (I have several WiFi networks active in my home - currently 2 Asus and a few older routers from other vendors.) While pleased with the performance - pretty close to spec - I am disappointed the previous one burned out after just a few years. My other brands (TrendNet & Linksys) continue to function well after several years of use. The Asus tends to run hot and burnout seems not to be uncommon for this model from what I have seen online. While they work, they are great performance for the money.

Excellent range and multiple mounting options. Nearly as fast as Gig-E, and enormous bandwidth. I bought one for each site in a corporate network and have no issues whatsoever.

I was having trouble with my old router dropping off and having to reset so I purchased this router and it totally solved my problem. Surprisingly easy set up.

Purchased router on the strong recommendation of the salesman. It has done all he said it would. It works great and is fairly fast. It lags when 4 computers are on and playing streaming games and Discord. My only disappointment with this router was the parental controls. When the time shuts off, my son can still get messages via discord, even though he can't respond to them for up to a half hour after the Internet time is supposed to cut off.

Router works great runs all of our devices in the house especially if we are gamers and also has an app for your phone to monitor all usage in the house

I just checked the connect speeds on my phone. The Asus 5 Ghz was connecting at 433 Mbps and the 2.4 Ghz at 72 Mbps. This is far greater than my D-Link DIR 655 ever did. I did a speed test on my internet connection and download speeds went from 44 to 60 Mbps. Upload speed increased from 5 to 6 Mbps. Range is better too. This was a great buy in my opinion, and this is a good looking router.

We bought this replace our all in one that we got from our Internet provider. It was easy to set up and easy to connect to all of our devices. It handles 4 people and multiple things going at the same time without lost signal. I gave it 4 stars because I did have to upgrade our Internet for this to be possible. But with that said...we do have a lot that we use. If you only had the basic going it would probably be just fine.

this is the best one i have bought in 5 years. havent had any problems with it . IT PICKS UP ALL OF MY COMPUTER DEVICES with no problems.

This router is awesome! I experienced poor performance from two routers of a different brand (all purchased brand new) over a three month period. Connectivity drops, slow speeds despite being AC routers were continuous problems. All that stopped with this router. It supports all my devices perfectly. Now I have a stable fast home network.

This is my first Asus router that I have used and I am very impressed with the features available. I am not an advanced user but do like some of the features that are more than basic and Asus made it very easy to setup and monitor with the mobile app for management of the router. I'll be loyal to Asus now for networking hardware.

My router died at my house - an older E series Linsys. I got this as an in between as I didn't want to spend more than $130 but I needed that boost in coverage and speed. Man this little router is great. I'm getting way better speeds and better coverage than before. Name the 2.4 and the 5 ghz bands with the same ssid and you devices will work at the highest speed possible. If you need a great router but don't want or can't spring for the Nighthawk, this will not let you down.

just as describe in title i left my home and left wifi on and when i looked to start G maps in my driveway i was still connected a good 50 feet outside. The speed wow it can handle my cable speeds up to 280 mps with ease. the set up is easy but I'm not savvy so i called asus and got a live person who walked me through the password reset

I was having some problems with my NETGEAR router with conductivity. My friend from Germany is an IT expert. He picked the ASUS router out as he's had previous success with this brand. It was easily setup and all corners of the house and out by the pool had a good connection. Very satisfied with this product!

Bought this router to replace a very expensive competitor's router. I didn't know what to expect out of this but it had great reviews so I took a chance. I'm glad I did because this router has been running smoothly for over a month. Good range and hasn't crashed once. Doesn't slow down speed either.

I tried nighthawk, bc I heard netgear was good1st one was dead out of box, then second one wouldn't connect to internet. Took it back and bought ASUS and boom I was instantly connected and all set up under 5 mins! Range is awesome and super fast! Asus even comes with a 2 year warranty :)
