Overall this router was easy to set up. I found the signal strength to be excellent and have no issue connecting to the router. Signal Strength does slightly weaken after passing through about 3 rooms, but that is to be expected. The router is able to handle many devices connected at once and still allow seamless streaming.

This is the best router I've ever had and for the price it's killer! I'm able to run everything in my home with one device. Including multiple smart home features, several gaming consoles, as well as multiple laptops and tables. Beyond satisfied with this purchase!

Using as an access point and its fantastic. It's pulling speeds of 356mbps on its 5ghz band and 99.2gbs on its 2.4 band range is great extends the network to a 35 yard radius past the house. Set up was flawless in AP mode unlike some units.

I had a customer with a horrible Modem/Router combo from Windstream. They were getting about 5 Mbps download while paying for 16 (let it be known that Windstream in this area is HORRIBLE). Regardless, I needed to get them a better setup for the new automation system we had in the house. I normally lean toward Netgear Nighthawk routers, but this was about $60 cheaper and they had a small home so I went economical. I was not disappointed with this router. Their speeds nearly doubled once installed and set up. The setup is not as easy as a Nighthawk, but it is not complicated by any means. I will say that I prefer the web interface of the ASUS over Netgear, but I do not imagine many customers spend much, if any time within the router interface after installation. All-in-all, this is a fantastic router for the price.

Easy setup. Had issues with local WiFi security cameras initially but settled in after a firmware update and a little tweaking. No issues since. Phone app works fairly well. Unfortunately still fails to test properly. Says there is no Internet connection but there is.

as of 2018, this is considered a basic router. with that being said, its a great router for a great price. easy to setup. as a gaming enthusiast and IT professional, i give this a stamp of approval.

I reviewed several routers after my old linksys died. This one was easy to set up, set the authentication and go. It does have the ability to manage in much greater depth than I have. So far the range has been at least as good as my old router.

I was torn between this router and the netgear. I was told to avoid the netgear router so I went with this one. Im glad I did, this router works great and has fantastic speed and coverage. Set up was a breeze.

I've owned this router for over 2 years, so it was a no brainer to pickup for my parents when their router finally gave out. Super fast, and strong signal. I have pick up my wifi 2 houses down from my house.

Very solid signal decent coverage area, 4 Gigabit LAN Ports for your devices very easy to setup. You can Surf the Internet and game and stream a movie or download music all at the same time. if your internet connection is fast enough.

Very easy setup. Has been very reliable so far. I had hoped for a little greater range, but it would probably help if I put it on the main floor instead of in the basement.

Nice router for the price. Set up was easy. I am getting coverage all over the house. I have many TV's, tablets, smart phones, streaming Blu-Ray players, etc. All are working fine now.

We have multiple devices and our old router wasn't keep up. Since I have purchased this one, we have noticed a decrease in buffering. It was easy to set up and we haven't had any problems.

Super easy out of the box to get set up. I upgraded my router to get proper coverage throughout my 2 story 1800 sq foot home. Haven't had any issues since my purchase a few months ago.

I'm not a techie, but I am better than the average user. I did some online research on BB and Amazon reading reviews and tech specs. Eventually, I went into my local BB store and talked with a couple of the guys in that section. After a lengthy discussion, I decided to give this a chance. I didn't need a modem, just a router. I have a desktop, a wireless printer, another newer touchscreen PC, and plenty of wireless devices. So far, I'm happy with the performance of the router. The instructions are easy to follow, and I like how easy the setup was for me. I've had this for a couple of months now and have had NO issues.

One of the very best mid range Wi-Fi routers around! Reasonable price, excellent performance. ASUS does well supporting these devices with firmware updates. Very stable.

Works consistently, no tech problems, other than turning on and off now and then to refresh signal. Reach not as far as advertised. Had to buy extender for other side of my small 1,700sf house to get signal just outside windows.

Router was easy to configure for basic settings, has been dependable, and the number of antennas makes it easy to get the best coverage through the house.
