I’m glad I purchased this. I got it for the sale price. I see it was originally over $400 which is overpriced. But other than that, I love it! I am an avid gamer and it supports PC gaming, console while my daughter is streaming Hulu/Netflix.

This was a purchase to replace a NETGEAR Nighthawk X6S AC4000 router that tanked on me. I purchased it on 2.27.2020 and it worked fine UNTIL it didn't. I didn't have the Geek Squad Replacement plan so I now have a NETGEAR paper weight... ANYWAY... I needed a new WIFI router especially since my 3 boys and wife were no longer in school b/c of the COVID-19 mandate that was in place here in MA. I really wanted a WIFI 6 router, but either WIFI 6 routers were either too expensive or not in stock. I purchased this one $212.99 and also purchased the 2 year GEEK Squad Product Replacement (highly recommended). After 4 months of use I can safely say thus far this router has been on point. I have had one firmware upgrade (currently on 3.0.0.4.382_52288). The user interface can be intimidating if you are not into networking, but there are some good forums for you to reference. I currently have 33 clients on this router (not all active) and two NETGEAR 8 PORT 10/100/1000 Gigabit Unmanaged Switches. Devices connected include Smart TV's, 2 PS4's, an XBOX One X, Apple 4K TV's, Fire TV's, iPad and Android tablets, iPhones and a S20 Ultra, and the list goes on. While this isn't a MIMO device, I haven't had any connection issues or drops. My main computer is running through a NETGEAR switch and everyday (yes everyday) I check my speeds from Xfinity. I average 940 down and 45 up. ASUS has proven to be reliable thus far and unless a firmware upgrade stinks (and it will happen - especially with Netgear), I don't foresee an issue. With my 3 kids being home from school and everything else we do with our network, ASUS has proven to accept the challenge and maintain.

Had a friend set it up for me, but it only took him 15 minutes, max. now i have my TV's on one band and have another 5g and 2g for everything else. works like a charm

Bought this last December. Have no problem so far. Signal quality are consistent. Easy to install with the app in your phone of talet.

This product is so freaking easy to set up! You just go to the url and setup is mostly autonomous. I have purchased netgear for years, but the speeds in my weirdly shaped house sucked! I even purchased the latest models recently, and they all couldn't give me much speed at all across the house. I am so glad I got this product! My high speeds are epic!

Hands down best router on the market. Now I didn’t see myself paying the huge price tag but the moment this bad boy went on sale ( being half off) I jumped to get it. This holds all my streaming devices and then some. If your looking to upgrade your system. You need to take a look at this.

The range on this thing is phenomenal. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was that I could not mount this on a vertical surface. I tried to contact ASUS but with no success. It is so hard to contact anyone during this pandemic. Except for BestBuy, they are the greatest.

It may look like something early NASA engineers might have designed, but it works great and was easy to set up. Had Spectrum's best router and was getting dead spots and a lot of buffering on Apple TV just 12 feet away! All better now!

Purchased to replace an outdated older model. Performs very well especially in a home with a lot of metal flashing.

It's an awesome router. Best one I've had. It gave me a little extra internet speed, which is nice since my internet is horrible.

I choose this over the fios router. It was a smart decision. The 3 band, and speed beats their 300$ router.

This is a very powerful router. The only thing to ease use is to download the phone app to set up the router.

not all routers are created equal. I think Asus routers are the best you can get. this works good.

I only get like 25 hood feet of coverage and if I try to go any farther the connection becomes too unstable and breaks down. I like this product at close range but if you’re not next to it you won’t get a blazing connection.
