I purchased this Asus laptop because the cost was good for an i5 processor, however it is a bit slower than I imagined and the size makes it a bit bulky to carry around

No, problems with it. Works well with everyday materials such as office and other programs. Runs well with mutlitasking and running multiple programs. Even does really well with online gaming and little to no lagging on good to high graphics even though it's not designed for gaming which i am stoked about!

The Asus laptop I purchased is good. I like the size of the screen and it's light enough to be carried anywhere. The keyboard is little tighter than what I am used to with a typical keyboard, though.

Keys and pad are a little clumsy for me. Tried adjusting pad feel but can't seem to get it right. Nice screen size. Battery life could be better.

Great computer and I already loved the Asus brand; the size of the screen was a motivating factor to purchasing this computer. This computer was immediately ready to use upon opening.

I bought this unit as an 'open box' item at my local Best Buy store in Las Cruces. Decided to bump up the RAM to 12 GB, put in a Solid State Drive, and an Intel Bluetooth/WiFi card (this unit does NOT have bluetooth). Loaded the latest version of Windows 10.1, downloaded drivers from ASUS web-site, and had it up and running in a few hours. It runs very well and fairly fast after these upgrades. The display is great for this price-point, and it works well on the internet, doing MS Word, playing low-level games, and using the bluetooth (which I added). It is a bit heavy, even for a 17" notebook, and is VERY PLAIN to look at, but I decided to keep it as a backup to my desktop. All in all, this is a very nice computer, but if you ARE going to upgrade, just know it is hard to get into and should only be done by a knowledgeable owner or the Geek Squad. But with the upgrades I did, it runs like a champ.

Bought this as an 'open box' unit and decided I would try to beef it up. Booted it up to check the specs and check the hardware before replacing the hard drive & WiFi card with a Solid State Drive and a WiFi/Bluetooth card (this unit does NOT have bluetooth). I also increased the ram to 12 GB. It is hard to get into, so if you're a computer novice, then let 'Geek Squad' do this job for you. After the upgrades, it runs very well. I downloaded all the drivers from ASUS web-site, and reloaded it with WIndows 10 Home. My 'all-in-one' desktop still runs great, but if it does break down, then I can use this laptop as a replacement and it has everything I need (minus a backlit keyboard). The display is good, intel Core i5 runs great, and the keyboard & touchpad have a good feel. Overall, even if you don't upgrade this computer, you will have a great full-sized notebook to use for many years to come.

Machine works like it should. Hard drive seems fast and has plenty of space. But only negative is the keyboard. I have had trouble with the space bar.. otherwise a great machine.

This is a great Notebook, comes with Windows 10, easy setup, and ASUS also gives you some free cloud storage for easy backup of important doc, photos, etc. that you can access from any device. very handy. Love this computer. Large 17" monitor, light weight. long battery life. Great for on the go kinda people

This Dell was easy to set up and has all the features and speed for the above averase user. It takes up less real estate than my laptop and has a nice big screen.

I am slowly becoming an avid Apple user, but needed a PC laptop for a class I am taking. Bang for buck, this is the best laptop I've ever purchased. It is my second ASUS purchase and I am very pleased. Only downside is that the keyboard is slightly flimsy. I will take that to get more power anyday!

When I bought this, I was concerned about the screen flickering that others have mentioned. But I have yet to experience anything wrong with the device. There are however a couple things I dislike about it. One thing being that there is no indicator showing whether caps/num lock is on, I have to guess. Another being that the keyboard has a gap between it and the inside of the laptop. So if any pressure is applied to the keyboard, there is a noticeable "pop". Nothing damaging, but is annoying nonetheless. Would be a five star rating if not for those issues.

Great entry level laptop. Does have all the bells and whistles but for the price. It does the job, won't be fast but you'll be satisfied.

I needed a laptop for work and i picked this ine up, its fast and im happy with it over all. Also picked up a printer with it for 40 bux.

So far I like to use it and I am still starting to to get to know all the things That it does. Because it is so different from our old computer an this is the first laptop we have had. I like the size of the screen and a lot of the new things it can do.

Have had the laptop a few months now & everything is perfect! This was purchased for our daughter, so it's not exactly being put to the test, but she does play a few internet games & lots of YouTube...so no issues for things like this!

This laptop is just perfect for my business and person add l needs. The monitor screen is nice a big for viewing.
