I've tested numerous laptops over the past year and this is definitely the most unique, PROS: +Gorgeous 4K OLED display provides vivid colors and outstanding contrast. +Solid metal chassis feels well assembled +Speakers are loud and crisp with great bass +Keyboard is very tactile with excellent feedback +RGB backlighting is a nice touch +Large trackpad gives good haptic feedback but... +Vapor chamber cooling keeps temps and noise down +Large battery, above average battery life +Asus Dial comes in handy once in awhile +Raised keyboard is great for typing while at a desk or table, and improves airflow, but see below. +Top notch Samsung M.2 NVMe drive +Comes with a backpack and a stylus pen CONS: -Raised keyboard isn't comfortable at all typing angles. If propped up at certain angles, the keyboard will wiggle and creak. -Soldered RAM means no future upgrading -Trackpad left and right click actions are not always smooth -OLED touchscreens have a visible touch matrix which can create a distracting grainy pattern on light backgrounds. -Weighs more than most other 16 inch laptops and is a bit cumbersome to transport. -RTX 3060 is mediocre given the potential of this hardware. If they made a version of this laptop without the raised keyboard, it would be a big hit. The keyboard just adds to the weight and moving parts which could be a weak point over time. Yes, there are upgraded 13th gen models that give a lot more power so it's not recommended to pay near MSRP for this model.
