Alright, let’s talk about the ASUS Zenbook S16. This thing? Total eye candy. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever lugged around a laptop that felt this feather-light and still looked like it belongs on a magazine cover. That 16-inch 3K OLED display? *Chef’s kiss.* I mean, colors just pop off the screen—blacks so deep you’d think you dropped your desktop into a black hole. Whether I’m slogging through spreadsheets, bingeing Netflix, or messing with Photoshop because I pretend to be artsy, this screen just delivers. Under the hood, it’s packing an AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 and a whopping 24GB of RAM. Translation: this beast doesn’t choke, ever. It boots up in seconds, flips through a million Chrome tabs (yeah, I’m that person), and chews through heavy-duty creative apps without breaking a sweat. Plus, a 1TB SSD? That’s more space than I know what to do with, and files open so fast it’s almost suspicious. The build? Honestly, ASUS nailed it. It feels super solid—like, premium, but not the kind of premium where you’re scared to scratch it. And for how thin and light it is, I keep forgetting it’s actually a 16-inch laptop. Battery life’s legit too. I get through a whole day bouncing between work and classes, and I still don’t have to panic-search for an outlet. Bottom line: this thing is a killer combo of style, speed, and portability. Seriously, it’s the kind of laptop that makes you want to get stuff done just so you can show it off. If you need power but refuse to haul around a brick, the Zenbook S16 is basically a no-brainer.

It’s a hit or miss… the first one i got kept crashing when connected to an external monitor which got really annoying. The second one i got is fine so far. Other than that it’s a great laptop. The screen is amazing and it seems to be very fast. Best feature is definitely how thin it is. Very portable for 16 inch so if that’s what u want it’s perfect. Battery life with mild use is about 12 hrs. It can get hot especially if ur using it while charging. Also really nice build quality and looks amazing.

The screen is the thing for me with this one. Battery life, speed, updates are all pluses. Minor minuses are heat and maybe port placement, all the ports are there but a USBC port on the right side would be perfect.

Crazy good build quality and drop dead gorgeous touchscreen in 3K Resolution OLED. Not ready to get rid of X86 just yet and this laptop is decently power efficient and has a huge battery. Charging every other day for now. Laptop is extremely thin but still manages to include all of the important ports and charges via USB-C. Large trackpad is extremely responsive and a pleasure to use. 24 GB of RAM should be good for a while for this use case and the 1TB SSD is fast enough and plenty of storage. Very happy with the laptop, just wish it was maybe slightly more affordable. Barely runs hot when in balanced mode and performance is not impacted one bit.

High quality laptop, great performance and an excellent screen to go with it. Its incredibly lightweight for any laptop and truely impressive for a high performance 16 inch PC. Great port selection too! We got this for my wife and I wish I could get another one for myself! Also, the Lawrence, Kansas store took excellent care of me when I drove a long way to get an open box PC from them! Thanks!

Great screen and sound quality and a sleek, modern design. The keyboard is gorgeous! Unfortunately, the display flickers when using the touchscreen to draw in OneNote, and the laptop gets very hot during everyday tasks like watching movies or YouTube. The real-world battery life with the screen always on is also only about 6 hours. Because of these issues, I ended up returning it.

The Asus zenbook is a amazing purchase for my investment! And it’s worth purchasing if you ordered online or in store when it’s on sale/discounted. You get a 16 inch Oled display which is gorgeous, plus a smart camera that features windows hello and have the laptop sign out when you walk away. The keyboard have good travel and it’s nice and quiet and it’s backlit, which is nice. 2 USB-C ports are great, but I want to have one of each side for easy charging and connectivity. A HDMI 2.1 port, headphone jack and SD card reader are handy for content creators or multitasking. There’s one USB-A port, which is quite disappointing if you need another for a flash drive, etc. The chip , which is AMD Ai 365 is blazing fast, not as fast as the HX370, but gets the job done. 10 core cpu and integrated Radeon graphics are amazing for all kinds of work. Thermals are good, but if you’re in full load, you will encounter some heat. Overall, it’s a worth purchase if the price goes down. And I highly recommend to this device to anyone and Black Friday is around the corner, so get one when it’s starting to go on sale! PS, copilot plus features will be coming to this laptop so stay tuned for my updated review.

The Zenbook S16 was our first PC laptop purchase from years of Mac products, and we couldn’t be happier. When it goes on sale for around $1,100, it is an even better buy. The Ryzen AI chip is zippy and quick. Upgrading Asus BIOS update really made a positive difference on speed as well. The aluminum chasis design is sleek and gorgeous, and most likely plays a key role in dissipating the crazy amount of heat it can put out. The ceraluminum coating cleans very well and doesn’t leave any fingerprints. The OLED screen is vibrant, but like all touchscreens, can show reflection in sunny days. If you are a casual gamer, it does well on low graphics settings, but seems to struggle with games that use Unreal Engine like Oblivion Remastered. Overall, this was such a worthwhile investment for our household. In fact, my parents purchased the same laptop after trying it. I would highly recommend this laptop!

ASUS Zenbook S16 Review: Sleek Power in a Premium Package The ASUS Zenbook S16 is a perfect blend of elegance, performance, and portability. From the moment you hold it, you’ll appreciate the ultra-slim, lightweight design crafted from premium materials that give it a luxurious feel without compromising durability. Powered by the latest AMD Ryzen processor and paired with fast LPDDR5X RAM and PCIe 4.0 storage, the Zenbook S16 handles multitasking and demanding applications with ease. Whether you’re editing media, running creative software, or browsing with dozens of tabs open, the performance remains smooth and responsive. The 3K OLED display is truly stunning — rich colors, deep blacks, and excellent brightness make it a joy to use for work or watching content. Plus, with ultra-thin bezels and great viewing angles, it feels immersive and modern. Battery life is impressive, comfortably lasting a full workday on a single charge. The keyboard is comfortable for long typing sessions, and the large touchpad is responsive and accurate. Overall, the Zenbook S16 is a top-tier ultrabook that balances power, style, and efficiency. It’s perfect for professionals, students, or anyone who values a high-quality, portable laptop that delivers both performance

Outstanding screen and overall quality. Fast and enjoyable to work on. Only issue with the White color is that when the keyboard light is on, you cannot see the upper row characters (!@#$%^&*()_+ and the rest of them. That's why I gave it 4 stars and not 5.

Very pretty! Lightweight, Works well! Easy to use. Am happy with my purchase and would again. Best Buy is Great too and helped me with my purchase!

Light touch keyboard and fast reaction rate, great processor speed and nice screen quality. Light and thin for easy storage. Very reliable … great purchase and highly recommend!

Performs better than expected! Battery life is decent under heavy loads. Picture quality is pretty good too. Gets the job done with college work and programs.

Works quickly and has no trouble with me getting my schoolwork done. Easy to use also. Got steam and installed some poolrooms games, and it runs them with great quality, apart from the loud fan and tendency to run hot. Overall great purchase!

This computer was exactly what I was looking for! Quick, long battery life, and beautiful display. No complaints! Very nice upgrade!

I had been keeping an eye on this laptop for a long time, but the price was a bit high, so I hesitated to make the purchase. Thanks to Best Buy’s excellent service, I received an email notification as soon as a temporary discount became available. That allowed me to take advantage of the deal and purchase this premium laptop at a very attractive price. The laptop itself is absolutely fantastic for my needs. I was looking for a reliable work device mainly for document editing, web browsing, and watching movies. The 3K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate fully met my expectations. I compared the screen quality in the store with laptops such as the Galaxy Book Pro 5 and the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition, and the ASUS S16 clearly stood out, especially when watching high-quality YouTube content. It’s quiet, thin, and compact. After using it for several months, I’m still very happy with my purchase. The build quality and design feel truly premium. The display quality, in particular, is the best I could get for this price, even compared to more expensive models. I absolutely recommend this laptop.

The design and display are stunning, and the processing power is impressive. However, Windows 11 feels too buggy for my liking. As it’s marketed as a productivity laptop, most of the time spent on it is on battery, making it disappointing to see a noticeable dip in performance and display quality every time I unplug it.

I've always kept a foot in both the PC and the Mac world, and my experience has been that with a Mac, you pay more but get more, a sleeker experience. But this Asus really took me by surprise with its excellence - its speed, elegant design, and superb visual display. And the Best Buy price made it a great value. (I haven't rated the battery life since I have no experience with it yet.)

Excellent machine with enough speed to get things done, play games with available dedicated GPU. NICE SOUND, 16 inch OLED big screen

As someone balancing life as a college student and a long-term substitute teacher, I needed a laptop that could keep up with a chaotic schedule. This machine delivers. Despite its large screen size, it is surprisingly thin and light, making it easy to toss in my bag and carry between classrooms. The display is the standout feature—the colors are beautiful, and the images are incredibly crisp, which is a huge plus for my biology coursework. It’s lightning-fast and handles every task I throw at it without lag. I also never have to worry about hunting for an outlet; the battery lasts all day, and when I do need a boost, it charges back up very quickly. With plenty of storage to boot, it’s easily the best tech investment I’ve made for my career and education.
