This phone is awesome. I can do just about everything on this watch. I have to keep reminding myself it's a watch and not a phone. It does basically a phone does and very excellent for nurses in which I am due to even if I'm away from my phone my watch willl ring vibrate, and you can answer it and check emails right on it...that's just a few perks there are so so many more

Attractive watch, handles Android Wear nicely

Full disclosure first: I purchased the 45mm Zenwatch 2, but ended up exchanging for the 49mm Zenwatch 2. The 45mm is a great size for women, but at 5'8", I'm able to get away with the 49mm, so I went that route. (I'm a little older, so I find I do better with larger screens.) Both watches are similar in appearance, however, with the same functions and features. I used the 45mm watch for a week before the exchange, and had absolutely no problems with it. Had the 49mm not been an available option, I'd have stayed with the original purchase. The following is true for both sizes, based on my experience. The Zenwatch 2 integrates quite nicely with Android phones, allowing me to see and respond to emails, messages and notifiactions without having to open my phone. The range is quite good. I can have my watch upstairs (I remove my jewelry after work,) but still use the "trusted device" function to keep my phone unlocked while downstairs. At work, I can go through most of the building and still have my watch communicating with the phone. The battery life has been quite good for a smartwatch. While smartwatches aren't known to have the greatest battery life, both sizes of the Zenwatch 2 use decent sized batteries. I find I can get a few days between charges. Of course, everyone's mileage will vary, based on settings and usage patterns. For me, it's been good. Android Wear is easy to use and I find it to be intuitive. The appearance of both sizes of the watch is very attractive, in my view. While the bezel is rather bothersome to some people, I don't find it to be that big of a deal. Perhaps the watch would look nicer without it, but I don't find it to ruin the appearance by any means. This is especially so if choosing a dark colored watch face, which I have done. The watch is attractive enough to be worn in a variety of situations from very casual to dressier. Because I didn't care one way or another about a heart rate monitor, the lack of one on this model is of no consequence to me. I do realize that this is a feature some people really want. I was happy to give up a feature I didn't need anyway, allowing me to save some money while getting a nice-looking Android Wear watch. I give the watch 5 stars because I find it to be a good-looking, well functioning, budget smart watch. I was uncertain about purchasing a product that is basically an extension of my phone, but for the price, I didn't feel I could go wrong. After a month, I find myself really enjoying the watch and am glad I made this purchase.

This is a great starter for anyone who's not so sure about smartwatches or wearable tech. I'm using this with an Iphone 6, obviously there wont be as many features available as if you used it with an android phone. Nevertheless, it's a great intro for the price. I selected the 45mm and switched out the bands for a rubber material. You can buy any 18mm bands from any store as long as you have the spring rod tool to install. Great battery life, watch faces, fitness app and notifications with the google wear app for iphone. Highly recommend this smartwatch.

That's what I get all the time someone notices the Zenwatch. :) I really like the Asus ZenWatch, there is room for improvement. From time to time it unpairs from my ZenFone, so that's a bummer. I usually get 2 full days of battery life, keep in mind the way I use it may be different from your usage. I have disabled the 'turn on wrist gesture' mode and the phone still turns on with slight wrist movement, so kinda confused on that one. Overall it is a nice, economical smart watch and like everything else there is always room to improve.

The watch is beautiful. The band is more of a tan color than gray. The Asus Zenwatch stock faces are fantastic. Every single one can be customized with the temperature, steps taken, battery info etc. I also have a LG G Watch and I didn't like a single stock watch face. With the Asus Zenwatch 2 it's hard for me to choose my watch face because I love all of them! The negatives: the battery on the smaller version does not last that long (I don't always make it through the day), the watch disconnects from the phone often even if the phone is right next to it, and it's a little on the thick side.

The Zenwatch 2 delivers exactly what I was looking for at a price point that I can live with. So far I've been able to go 2+ days on 1 charge, but I do usually turn it off at night. I have not had any connection issues with Bluetooth or wireless functions. I bought this mostly for work since my phone has to stay in my pocket. Messaging is easy, the pedometer is okay, easy to update, and the smaller size looks good on my average sized wrist (not too bulky). At first I was somewhat disappointed that the speaker is only featured in the larger watch (rumored to be activated in a future update), but I doubt I would be making Dick Tracy calls anyway. The mic picks up fine with Ok Google making quick responses a breeze.

I was intrigued by the convenience of the apple watch, however I have an android phone and just couldn't justify the cost. The Zenwatch has a very similar look and functionality at over less than half the cost I found it far more attractive! Initially I tried the origional Zenwatch. It has the look of an expensive watch with a nice two tone finish and quality leather band. The face was oversize for the size of my wrist and as it only connects via blue tooth I was continually losing connection. But, If you like the larger size face and keep your phone with you I would suggest the origional as it may still be available at half the price of the Zenwatch 2.
I have the Note 4 phone which I love, but it's HUGE. The Zenwatch 2 allows me to leave my phone on my desk or in my purse and stay connected as I move room to room. At a glance I can see and respond to texts, request directions and Google searches without pulling out my phone. The watch vibrates to notify of incoming calls with caller id image and selected notifications. It provides the ability to answer a calls with a swipe, however this smaller size does not have the speaker that is included with the larger model. I am very disappointed that this is not clarified by the description of the watch. I even called Asus as I would assume that there would be the same functionality on both size options. If you choose the smaller face be aware it has no speaker, a smaller battery, and the large font size is not available. The smaller watch is a better fit for my wrist but I'm disappointed that it doesn't offer the full array of features. It was a little touchy to set up, I had to reset the watch and reload the aps several times to get a consistent connection. I'm not tech savy so this could be user error, but once it connected it seemed to continue to improve the connectivity and responsiveness. As long as both devices are on wifi, even different networks they'll connect and there will be no interuptions of notifications.
This watch also includes step counter, calorie and sleep tracking. It does not include a heart rate monitor so I'm not sure how accurate the calorie count can be. The step counter connects with the fit ap on your phone which allows you to specify when you are participating in a wide range of activities. The sleep tracker is activated directly from your watch and seems to be pretty accurate.
There are a numerous of functions available directly from the watch itself. Viewing directions, trip advisor for local restaurant, hotels and things to do. Agenda with notifcation of calendar events, set alarm to descreetly vibrate, check the weather, maintain business card info. Even shop amazon ... that sounds dangerous! I particularly like the ease and responsiveness of the voice command to call text or Google search and I'm amazed at the accuracy of the voice recognition. I also am a big fan of the keep ap which allows me to create memos, grocery and to do lists and mark them off as I go. And, as I am increasingly reliant on this watch ... the find my phone ap is especially handy!
I like the appearance of the Zenwatch 2. It is available it several finishes. The band is interchangeable with any 18 mm band some of which are available with a quick release for tool free convenience. There is a wide bezel, which is the space from the outside edge of the watch face and the display area. It would be great for the display to be full screen but I don't find it objectionable. There are a variety of customizable watch faces available through the ap to tailor the look and highlight your favorite functions. I was initially dissapointed by the quality of the leather band as I don't find it to have the rich quality as the one on the origional Zenwatch. However it is lightweight, comfortable, a nice neutral color and is holding up nicely to daily wear ... and if you don't like it you can easily change it!
Overall I love this watch and the convenience it provides. I would have liked for this smaller watch to have all the same functions as the larger size. Better battery life would be great but it does charge quickly and easily. My phone battery drains quickly however, I'll need to check with the Geek Squad to see if this is due to the connectivity with this watch and how I can adjust the usage. I look forward to the improvements that will no doubt come with future generations, but for now I'm a pretty happy camper.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife. Looks good - bigger than a typical ladies watch, but not too big. Has a bit more of a bezel than ideal, but again, not overwhelmingly so. Good features. With this watch, my wife no longer wears her fitbit during the day. She likes being able to swap watch faces with her mood. Not crazy about the strap color, but that can be replaced. She charges it every night. Only real complaint is that it is not as responsive to voice commands "OK Google" as she would like - takes a few tries sometimes... perhaps something that improves with practice.

I'm quite surprised how efficient and classy and beautiful and useful this watch turned to be, I wanted to try the smart watch market without spending tons of money and this was the best election ever!! Super convenience, beautiful (I keep on getting compliments all the time) and super affordable... Only reason for 4 stars is just because I'm waiting for an upgraded version with even more features, other than that I love my Asus Zen!!!! and I totally recommend it!

I purchased this watch to replace the Moto 360, It has proven to be a great replacement. I bought the smaller version and really like the size. I dont really miss the heart rate monitor as I didnt use it much on the Moto360. I purchased the Stainless mesh band and this watch is very impressive. I have had many people asking questions about it. I am very pleased with its performance and currently have no complaints.

It's a nice looking watch, but just a little too small for my wrist. The screen is very responsive and clear. The band it comes with is ok, but I would recommend an upgrade to a nicer one.

Brought this watch for my wife as her Xmas gift. She can watch her steps everyday, and check email on it. She got a lot of praise with the look of the phone (looks better than the apple watch), and a lot cheaper too.
