4/5 stars for the following reasons:
+ setup was easy, app was easy to work with
+ security / tracking features, lock down for specific devices, is all great and easy to manage
+ mesh setup was painless
+ coverage and speed is great
+ "just works"
Minuses that keep this from being a 5/5
- setup for IoT LAN isn't correct by default, the IoT LAN is just just the lower performing IoT devices, you have to go in through the UI afterwards and delete/recreate to enable the VLAN separation
- some of the firewall management could be better, there's no "one way to the IoT" network style option, you can do it yourself, but 95% of people won't even if it makes their home more secure
- DDNS servers are pretty limited and 'the old guard' - not really like cloudflare or other new / cheaper ones
- really should have had 5 Ethernet ports on the back. Hardware is basically the same for the ROG version but "gamer expensive" because ASUS ROG.
