NO CALLER ID - WRONG SPEC ONLINE

I went by the Best Buy Specifications which clearly stated that it has Caller ID. It does not. I bought three for our office. I called Best Buy's 800-number and I was able to get the AT&T 1070 at the same price courtesy of the first customer representative I spoke with. She then instructed me that Best Buy would be sending me shipping labels to return the 1040 phones but to this day, I have not received them. Each time I call, I am told it will be sent and I have to wait for 48 hours. Now it is past the 15 day grace period for returns and I still don't have it. The customer rep told me that I can no longer return the 1040 phones to a Best Buy store. So I am stuck with these three phones that we don't want or need. The new representative said that she has AGAIN requested for the return labels to be sent to me. She said it will take 96 hours. I asked her what would happen if after 96 hours, I still don't have the shipping label. She said I should call again so I could request for it again. That was so wrong! Thankfully this representative was very helpful. She spoke with someone else and they decided to refund me my money immediately and not wait until the labels are sent to me at which point I can then return the phones. I give Best Buy A+ for that but a Fail on the website specs. Best Buy should change it so it reflects the correct information.

Bad AC cable

I purchased 4 of these phones and 3 of them had defective AC cables. I knew it was the AC cables because I used the only good one to check all the other phones and they all worked. I called AT&T to see if I could get a replacement AC cable and was told to return the phones to Best Buy and get another one. It is a hassle doing this. This is a business and I need to have working phones.

Speaker phone went out

I have daily conference calls and utilized the hands free speaker phone capability for these meetings. Unfortunately, the speakerphone went out within 30 days. Not optimal for business use unless you have the handset attached to your ear all day.
