    Good Value

For the price it is a good value and I can see this phone being a great small office or home add on when you have a main jack and need to spread the extra phones around without drilling holes. Those extra handsets simply plug into an electral outlet and that makes life simple. And the extra handsets work like an intercom so you can use them as an interoffice communication system if you are using this phone for a small business. If you are using it at home this is still a fun feature! Of note, you can have more than one person on the handsets on the same call at the same time if you need so that is not an issue. The directory on this phone can store up to 50 names and numbers to make dialing easier. And you can have 10 people on speed dial. The keypad and display do light up great for late night calling. If English isn't your first language or if you want to brush up on a new language this phone can be setup in both Spanish and French! You can control the volume on the handset which is a nice feature. And there is a plug to use a headset with it (must be a 2.5mm) they even include a belt clip to wear the phone on your waist. Buy the optional headset and you can talk hands free. You can also talk hands free with the speakerphone that is built into this model on the handset itself (more on that in the cons). This phone is integrated to work with Caller ID if you have that service with your phone company. The phone runs on an NiMH battery included. All the typical features you'd find on a normal phone you'll find here. Now the cons... When I bought this phone I was told 5.8GHz technology was the way to go in order to not get interference from other appliances in the home (i.e. computer, cell phone, etc. etc.). Unfortunately that is not 100% true. I still get a lot of static from time to time on this phone. It is transient and I don't know why it happens it usually resolves by disconnecting and calling the person back. It does get to be frustrating. The speaker phone is worthless unless you hold the handset right next to you. I almost wonder why they bothered to put in the speaker phone as it often begins a game of "can you hear me now?" However that being said if you can live without speaker phone and you can cope with the transient line static this phone offers good value for the price.

We bought this to replace out 2.4 gig because the lap top was on the same frequincy, whomever was on laptop was kick off the minute someone used / answered the cordless. We don't have this problem anymore with this 5.8.. The new 5.8 is great with all features it has to offer. The build in caller I.D. let you know your missed calls as well as incoming. The key pad is very comfortable to use. You can store important numbers for viewing, then have phone dial for you. The battery needs to be charged about every 3 days. Phone is very durable also has page feature.

These phones have worked great around the house. I never have any problem with static or any other interference. It is also very easy to store and add contacts into the phone, and updates the information on every phone very quickly.

I replaced my old 2.4Ghz wireless phone due to problems with my router and I must say this phone has really been a wonderful product. I've never had phones that sound so clear and have great range. I would recommend this product to others.

This AT&T replaces my older model AT&T. This is a great phone. I like that the numbers on the phone lights up. Great sound and clarity and many feature rich options. Great so far.

This is the best phone I've ever purchased. It has very clear reception. The extra phones have solved our problem with no phone jack in our basement. Easy instructions to follow.

I really like the idea of being able to plug a phone into any outlet in the house. It makes it easy to add a phone without adding holes or jacks. I would like more diverse ringer options and ease of setting them up. I can't seem to get it right. Rings clearly and has good range and clear sound.
