    I was disappointed to find out that the phones did not work with my current base. The only thing that worked was to remove the batteries and place them in my old phones. If I only knew that all I needed were batteries, I would not have bought the phones. I will buy the base that goes with the new phones at some point and have it as a backup, if anything should happen to my original system.
