I had a lot of criteria for choosing a 2-line phone for home office use, and this one met many more of my criteria than all the others. I have had it for a few weeks now and use it for hours every day with my existing land line and my internet phone line. It was fast and easy to set up with intuitive controls and a good mix of hard buttons and soft key menu buttons. I could guess my way through about everything I wanted to do. Headset jacks on both the base and handset are great and switching between base handset, speakerphone, and wireless handset is quick and easy. Three way calls are easy to make. My only complaint is relatively minor. When on speakerphone, if there is a momentary pause in the conversation and the other party speaks first, the beginning 1/2 second of their sound is much louder than the rest. That is a minor irritant, but not enough to outweigh my overall delight with this phone. Also, and very important, Best Buy had the best return policy in case I was dissatisfied with the quality of the phone after the purchase. That won them the sale, but I won't be returning this phone.

This phone has everything I need. I use the 2 lines for my business and my home phone line. Set a distinct ring and answering message for each. Enough recording time. Easy to operate. Can see the buttons in the dark on both the handset and base unit. Headset gets clear reception and has good sound quality. Plugged the fax into the biz line and it works fine. Has Intercom and CALL transferability. You can even use both lines at the same time to do 3 way conference calling. How cool is that?

The buttons are easy to read, however some of your options are on the screen display and it was a little confusing during set up. Some options that you thought should be there were not. Other than that the cordless has really good reception even in a metal fab shop. I like my ring tones to be at a lower pitch but they are tolerable.

The display on the cordless handset has the tiniest number for which line is ringing (line 1 or line 2). That's the only way you can tell which line to answer. It's really annoying. Seems like the readout could be larger. We can't hardly read it in daylight with our glasses on!! Other than that the phone is great.

I think everything is great about this phone except for the directions. I've tried for 2 whole days to setup the voicemail on there and I just can't seem to figure it out! Other than that, i recommend this phone! P.S: if anyone could help me or give me instructions I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

If you tend to use the phone alot its great to have a cord phone but for those short conversions easy access to the cordless. Battery Life is limited on the downside.
