We don't get very good reception with our cell phones, so my wife and I bought into the internet phone via our local cable company. We have a pretty large house and it's nice that these phones have superior range without any quality degradation (even on the second floor). Getting a second handset is great for when our dog decides to "customize" our phone like she did last time. As much as I love slobber and broken pieces of plastic, it doesn't do much for reception...

Easy to install, perfect size not to small nor too big, easy to use from children to elderly.

I was in need of a replacement phone, so i purchased them just thought it was the phone version my parents owned because they have talking caller id but was not but anyway AT&T makes a great phone.

These phones are lightweight and easy to hold. The ringer is extra loud. I only wish the answering system gave dates of the calls missed.

My 93 y/o grandmother was complaining her old phone wasn't working so I bought her a new one. I do not know how easy it was to assemble, but my mother now tells me that grandma can hear better when talking. My grandma said that she can see the numbers on the pad since they light up and she can see who is calling her on the caller ID. I feel safer that she has two handsets to always have one charging. It has added peace of mind

Bought this as a gift for my dad and it works well. Easy setup and the large print display is good for his old eyes. Dual handset is the way to go.

phone was really better than expected...it was really easy to set up and has a really nice battery life....would definitely recommend this product..

I bought the phone set with the hopes of soon adding additional lines. It has caused any problem since the purchase. You wouldn't go wrong purchasing this product. It is well worth the money!

Range is great. Can be customized with different ring tones. Is a solid phone that holds a decent charge.

Just what I needed 2 cordless phone nice ring tones. I’ve had them for 1 month now and no problem love the answering machine and the big numbers you can also make it so when your dialing it doesn’t make a sound.

I needed a new phone for my landline and this fit the bill. Good size and 2x phones with an answering machine so everything we needed.

I needed to replace my old cordless phone and made this purchase. I didn't check with Consumer Reports as I usually do as I was just about to start an intense job and just needed to get the task done and cross it off my 'to-do' list. I knew I wanted to have an extension, saw the AT&T logo and was off and running. It is relatively comfortable to hold and I do like the larger buttons and the extension. However, the range is just awful. I keep the extension in the kitchen and when I sit on my terrace which is around the kitchen wall in a relatively small NYC apartment I get signal drops. Also, even when I'm on the sofa in the living room (which is also around the same wall) sometimes, while sitting in the same place and not moving, the signal drops. I charged it according to instructions as I follow manufacturer's instructions and keep it fully charged all the time. I would have returned it but I discovered this problem after the cut-off time as I was so busy preparing for my job. I guess I got what I paid for - it was very reasonably priced and that should have tipped me off. In this case, cheap is expensive.

Been about a month and everything seems good with it. Had to replace a old one that we had for years on end.

After doing a substantial amount of research for a cordless phone set with an answering machine, I decided on this unit, and boy am I glad I did! It has worked great since the simple installation, providing crystal clear reception all throughout the house, and the ability to check any voicemails left on the machine by simply pressing a few buttons on the wireless handheld (not having to be right next to the machine. I would recommend this set to any friend or family member looking for a quality set.

Reasonable price, good quality and 2 headsets so you can use them as intercom.

I had a Panasonic phone where the numbers wore out on the phone and they also were hard to punch. This AT&T has easy to read numbers and pretty easy to set up. I know people do not have phone sets like they used to, but I like a home phone to screen people. Besides, I have so many companies where I use my home phone number as a reference that it would be hard to change.

No wait time for battery charging too use phone and set up was less then ten minutes. Worked instantly without problems so far. Price was great as well. Would definitely buy again.
