1st one died on the 30th day.If you dont buy the extended warrenty.only has 30 day return policy ? i dont see why we have to pay for a warrenty on cheaply manufactured products.Bestbuy replaced it no charge, this time .so now i paid for extended warrenty.2nd one,not 30 days yet.ill see.ATT system & services work great, but small products i havent had much luck with.MiFi does work fast and is prefect for my situation, but how long will it last?

I purchased the AT&T MiFi Liberate Mobile Hotspot about six weeks ago and have really enjoyed using it both at home, at the office, and while traveling. It is so simple and easy to use, not to mention fast! I have experienced no problems at all during this time and look forward to continuing to use it for some time!

Haven't used very much yet but it is very easy to use. Just turn it on and connect any device you like to it. Bought it for use when I travel to remote places in the Southwest. Have not used it on a trip yet, hope it performs well without an external antenna. Works very well with my Nexus 7 when I use it to navigate..

Best top end wireless product I've encountered!

I've owned & used quite a number of "high-end" connectivity devices over the years, and by far this is the best I've encountered. Other than a somewhat obease battery section (I understand the need for it be large in order for battery life), it's by far the best design I've ever encountered. Congrats AT&T, you finally have a top notch industry product!
I've owned the Verizon credit card sized unit along with many others (all returned), but this one meet/exceeds pretty much all of my desires (excluding its large battery element)... I bought this with the intent of returning it, but happily didn't need to! It's connectivity is excellent, it's access is great, the information available is superb & design more than elegant!
Other than a rather obvious lacking in the battery section, this is a 5/5!. Most impressive to be sure! Oh, by the way the battery issue isn't all that bad, but I am a bit of a perfectionist and do understand the limitations of design...

The MiFi liberate is a great device to have on the road. I don't need to worry about places I am at having wi fi, I just sign onto my hotspot and am good to go. I love being able to use my laptop in the car, (as a passenger) and that I can use it with my other devices as well.

Great device over a 3 G device

We had a 3G device and experienced problems running XP and Win 7 on the same device. The 4G device had similar problems but were minor. The info and diagnostics on the 4G device is worth the change. Our area has 3 types of 4G, Standard 4G, Mid 4G and 4G LTE. the top two are not available most of the time and the signal strength is one or two bars. A good device choice.

On 2 occasions in the last 4 weeks, the thing has just konked out on me. I knew the battery hadn't run out, but I put it in the charger anyway. Nothing. I contacted a tech support rep who told me to take out the battery, wait a minute, and try again; that got it working. So when it happened again this morning, I took the battery out again, and it worked again. But I shouldn't have to keep doing that to a device I've barely had for a month.
Also, the battery on it runs down ridiculously fast - only about 2 hours or so, such that it's not really useful on the go - which is what it the device is for! Maybe I just got a sub-par battery with mine?

It's too bad we had to wait for 2 years for this upgrade. I would have paid extra to upgrade earlier. It doesn't drop the internet until the battery quits. It doesn't show data usage as advertised, It does take a few seconds longer than it's predecessor to connect to the computers even when there are one or more already on-line.

Easy to use device for when I travel or at home. Didn't work when I first received it and with a quick phone call, everything was made right. Both Best Buy and AT&T were helpful in getting the device working and it was just a glitch in the set-up.

Secure internet on the go

It's great having a secure internet connection when I travel. The downside is that this particular model (through AT&T) has only one plan available -- 5 GB per month. You can't upgrade or downgrade your plan. I think I would have been happier with this if I had purchased it outright and used a pay-as-you go system. Even so, I think it's a great gadget overall, especially for travel or even if you don't use a lot of internet at home.

Prior to purchasing the MiFi Liberate, I used my iphone as a hotspot. It only connected up to 5 dvices. The MiFi Liberate cost the same on my monthly bill, connects up to 10 devices and is easily transportable. Great for other family members to use without me having to be there with my phone.

This device is so much faster than the aircard it replaced. The 4G networks are availiable almost everywhere i go. I use it in remote area where not even eletricity is available. It has a safety factor also because it can be used in many disaster areas such as hurricane Sandy. I travel with it and a laptop whereever I go.
