Battery not so great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this phone for my husband to replace his iPhone 6, which had a bad battery. While this one does charge to 100%, it seems to drain rather quickly.

Works well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to use, pretty good camera, just wish you could still have phone plugged in and use wired headphones when the wireless don’t have a charge.

Beware of prepaid phones.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to return this iphone after it started overheating with just normal use. The packaging seemed to have been opened and resealed as it didn't have the original plastic on.

Iphone 7: "Good" Phone for a Bad Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own an Iphone 7 with AT & T's prepaid service. The phone is fast and has good features. The battery life is OK and I have no severe complaints about applications, sound levels, screen resolution, or the camera. However, upon reading so many glowing reviews, I felt obligated to voice a differing opinion. The phone is "good," but at the September 2019 price point of $330 new, I'm not sure that it's "good enough" compared to the 6s on the older end and the 8 on the higher end. I "upgraded" from the tiny and older iPhone SE-- a beautiful and efficient device for its time. Yet, the iPhone 7 did NOT feel like an upgrade to me. The loss of the headphone jack was disappointing, but I understand that such "innovation" happens. However, I was also shocked that the camera wasn't much better, the RAM wasn't any better, and the primary operations of the phone weren't improved in comparison to my SE. In fact, there were almost no stark improvements over the SE except for aspects of sound quality and the selfie camera. Yikes! Also, stating that this phone is much better at taking night photos than previous generations is a bit of an exaggeration-- your night photos will still look pretty bad. The aperture updates help, but not substantially. In summary, this phone is a decent iPhone, but it doesn't seem like a major improvement from recent previous generations. There are some improvements if you dig deep, but this phone is now old enough that any tech junkies wouldn't consider it anyway. Likewise, there are many other newer iPhones that will be at more affordable costs soon. So, I recommend passing on this phone.

Sturdy and functional
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just what I needed at the time. Sturdy, inexpensive compared to newer apple phones. haven't had any mechanical difficulties or overheating. Battery life expectancy was good, but not excellent.
