My dad needed to upgrade from his old Samsung 3, which only had 8 GB of internal memory. The LG Phoenix doubles his memory to 16 GB, is easy to use, and is much faster. He is pleased because he can access all of his favorite apps & games, and that's all that matters.

Very good and reliable phone. For the price can't be beat. The only complain is that this Phoenix 3 version has less features than the previous Phoenix 2 from last year for the same price, which makes no sense. But overall is good and cheap.

Picked up the LG Phoenix because my S6 Active went brick on me. Compared to a flagship model like the S6 Active, the first limitations you will find are camera quality, screen resolution, and graphics processing capability.
The camera simply doesn't produce sharp, high resolution pics, but it's functional.
The screen resolution isn't as capable either, unable to produce sharp, smooth text edges or 1080p style video playback.
If you enjoyed high-end mobile gaming, you can go ahead and lower your expectations and stick to games with more "cartoony" graphics to keep acceptable playability.
I probably won't bother getting another Galaxy or anything; this capable smart phone was $50. It's hard to bring myself to spend several hundred dollars on a silly little phone.
Go with the LG Phoenix 3, it'll function and save you hundreds.

LG Phoenix 3 Phone is Great for a Beginner

The LG Phoenix 3 Phone is a great phone for a person just getting used to accessing Apps, etc. and email through their phone, but it's a hard phone to use to receive telephone calls. That's because the way it's set up makes it difficult to try and answer the phone on an immediate basis and you miss many calls due to the difficulty in answering the phone. Additionally, the phone gets hot after using for a short period of time, but even with those problems, it's a great value for the price.

Great prepaid phone. Is perfect for those who don't use their phone like a computer. Nice large screen, great sound, plenty of memory, bright screen and service is nationwide through AT&T. I have never had a call drop. Strongly recommend!

I bought this phone for my father when their phone was lost. He isn’t truly tech savvy but he loves how easy this phone is to use and the camera. Now he takes pictures of everything.

Thought when a phone went into the 2nd, 3rd, 4th phase the specs will increase with those numbers. For all purposes and intent phone got through a day and a half using the phone for calls, text, light web browsing and a few pictures. This would be a good phone for a grade school kid or a high schooler when you want to punish for not achieving academic excellence(did this with my kid & I never seen such a fast turnover with performance & behavior) lol. For the price ($29.99) I can not complain too much, it was fine for the week I needed while waiting for my iPhone replacement.

I currently own a Galaxy S8 but I needed a temporary phone while mine was being repaired. I just picked this phone up because it was cheap and would do the job. I have been so impressed with this phone that I will never again buy a "flagship" phone again. This phone runs ALL the apps that I run on my Galaxy S8, even Pokemon Go. Now, the apps run slower and I have to be more patient but they all run.
The drawbacks of this phone are the slow processing speed and the quality of the rear camera. But for $30, its a great deal!

I have had this brand before and it served me well. You have a few choices high dollar apple ios which uses google to search(that is right safari uses google or bing it is not it's own search engine)but user friendly (except for the tethering, slowing of older devices oh and the battery issues not as bad as samsung w/the dangerous ones but a dead battery isn't cool either)so windows(not many choices & it's microsoft) and everything else is android or google and even android uses google as a search engine so pick what you like can afford and hasn't hurt anyone physically is My best advice.this 1 even comes w/an fm radio that does not require wifi or data.like I said great phone for the price even when not on sale.it would get 5 stars but come on 5 stars is close to perfect so that means 4 is pretty good!

I got this on sale at 40 dollars. Can't really complain. It is a bit slow on the internet, but for the price, it is a very good bargain. 16GB built in is good, SSD can expand to 32GB is o.k. Battery life is decent, but not great. Overall, for $40 can't get any better.

This is the first smart phone that I have owned. I had an old refurbished AT&T phone with a small screen and very tiny buttons to start with back in 2016. I misplaced it, so I ordered this LG Phoenix 3 4G LTE. I am very happy with it. The WiFi works very well and so does text. The screen is very large at 5.25" x 2.5" with a very clear high resolution image. I am still learning the new features, since cell phones have changed a lot since my first flip-phone. That was ten years ago. I did without any cell phone until I needed it for a new job. The price was very reasonable, and I was able to get an Otterbox to protect it from damage. I can't imagine that I need anything more that this phone offers at this time. It does more than I expected for very low $$.
