Customers frequently mention the affordability, ease of use, and good camera quality of the MOTO E5 Play. Positive feedback also highlights decent battery life and sufficient storage, especially when using a microSD card. However, some users point out limitations in the phone's memory and processing speed. A few customers also noted the phone's relatively small size.

excellent value for the price. you can use a microSD card to expand the storage, so you won't be limited by the 16GB of onboard memory

Needed a cheap replacement while waiting for another phone I had ordered. This is a no frills phone but it works pretty well. I used this on my cricket plan. Another reviewer said it only works for att but they are wrong. I put in my sim and everything worked as it should.

Got this to replace my wife's old Moto E3 which had a battery that was too complicated/expensive to replace. It works great and has decent battery life. When this one needs a new battery, it's as simple as popping off the back cover, taking out the old battery, and popping in a new one. No problems, not screws, no technical know-how required. It is just like the old cell phones with replaceable batteries! Best reason ever to buy this phone!

This phone the Moto E5 play for the AT&t prepaid Network is a phenomenal phone for the $29.99 price tag. This phone is typical for the Moto line running almost the stock Android operating system, as a MicroSD slot, 2 gigabytes of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage and you can also format an SD card as internal storage for a $30 phone that's a pretty nice feature. I would recommend this phone even at $99 its normal price but at $29.99 it's an absolute steal

While Moto E4 and Motorola E5 supposed to have same resolution camera, photos taken by Moto E4 have better quality.
Moto E4 and Motorola E5 use same compatible swappable battery.
E4 calls it Moto while E5 calls it Motorola. Both are made by Lenovo China company.

Works good better than expected for the cheap price but don’t expect the performance of the top selling cell phones out there but for the fraction of the price it’s pretty good!

GREAT PHONE FOR ME

After using the phone for a week, I do not understand why I, or anyone else, pay $900+ for iPhones, S-whatevers, or other expensive mobile phone models. This phone is completely functional, runs the Android operating system like any other phone, and has all the features you would expect. Yes, the camera has crummy resolution and the touch screen isn't silky smooth like your iPhone. It doesn't have the flashy bonus features or ultra high resolution of your Samsung Galaxy phone. Perhaps navigating some of the settings isn't as easy. However, this phone runs all the required software, takes workable photos, connects to the 4G network just fine, connects to Bluetooth devices, and does any other FUNCTIONAL task you might need on a day to day basis.

A smartphone at $30. Maybe I'll be able to get this unlocked after the required usage time unlike my Z2 Force which AT&T has been stalling on for weeks. Maybe they'll say that since I didn't buy it directly from AT&T it is not eligible (that one was bought directly from Motorola). Anyhow, at $30 it is OK for WiFi, a camera and some games.

This is a great phone. Bought it for a long car drive to Florida. Thought it was going to be cheap given the price i paid for it, but it loads games quickly and has enough memory for my granddaughter to download as many games as she wants. The screen is a nice size and the picture is good. Cant speak to the phone quality.
