This is not a smart phone - But, if you want a phone that works well for making calls - texting - taking and keeping notes as well as organizing your schedule this one does a fine job!

I do not have nor do I want a "smart phone" I love my "dumb" phone. It was very easy for me to set up & use. The battery stays charged a lot longer than the one I had that died.

while waiting to purchase a smartphone, i got the ATT Gophone, very handy to send, received text, phone calls. Clear pictures. Emails may be a little hassle.

We purchased this cell phone just to temporarily replace our daughters phone when she dropped hers I the toilet! Works fine and does the job needed which is calling and texting. Far from a smartphone. Battery stays charged well. Definitely nothing fancy.

Very pleased with the AT&T ZTE Z432 No-Contract ! Key to my purchase of this phone was NO CONTRACT. I have an AT&T family plan and have been shopping around for other plans. I didn't want to be locked in for another two years so I bought this phone and I took it to my AT&T store. They took the SIM out of my old flip phone and transferred my data to the new phone. I didn't want a smart phone and texting was time consuming on my old flip phone. This was a perfect match since I once had a Blackberry and the layout is familiar and now texting is easy again with the QWERY keyboard. Only dislike is that the numbers and letters are smaller than my old Blackberry so reading glasses are required, but the keyboard lights up for nighttime use. Navigating the menu and tools is easier than most phones. I only wish the phone didn't lock so fast when idle. You have little option to extend the time before it locks but better safe than sorry ! I ordered a couple different case protectors thru AMAZON for a very low price. My old Blackberry belt-case works well without the case protector. If you don't need a smart phone this is the one I would buy ! LOW COST AND NOT LOCKED WITH ANOTHER TWO YEAR CONTRACT.

The price was right. I didn't research this phone before purchasing. It's so much easier to text with a keyboard instead of just using numbers, as I did on my flip phone. Unless I know the number and don't have to use the address book,, I don't think it's very efficient when making a call. I still am not thoroughly familiar with the phone, so maybe I am not doing something properly. As far as the next question, recommending it would depend on the persons knowledge and what they had before and what their needs are.

Easy to use. Blackberry stlyed. Buttons are small so if you have big fingers like me, this is probably not the best option for you.

It is sturdy, easy to use, arrived even earlier than I expected. I am happy with my purchase. It is just how I expected it to be. It is a decent phone for a reasonable price.

This is a good phone for the price. It is a basic no frills phone especially good for those who just need it for an emergency.

Nice camera, kids like it, east to use and keyboard is a plus, but no touch screen is not

I purchased this phone because I needed a cheap phone to make calls and text while I was waiting for my smart phone to arrive. It serves that purpose. Not for individuals that like apps or smart phone capabilities.

This phone is a great replacement for a broken pre-paid. It's inexpensive and Best Buy techs will sync it to your account.

I purchased this to get me by till they sent me my new phone. Let me say this was like stepping into a time machine. Battery life was like 5 days though, rather then one. Nostalgia value was worth it.

good phone that you don't have to put data on. you can make phone calls, text and store music. Good for teen

Nice phone, wish they used a different color than orange in the keys. A blue color would have been better. The phone looks and works well. Recommend it if you want a full keyboard.

Simple phone for my Young daughter to use. She doesn't need data yet so it's pretty much a phone she can use to send text and calls

This phone is okay. Nothing special; it works pretty well and I love the keyboard to type texts with. However it does have its fair share of issues. Buttons constantly get pressed while in my pocket and if I lock the keyboard, it locks during phone calls. So typing "1" on an automated line doesn't type. Remember that it's a GoPhone and you're getting what you pay for.

Does the job! We were looking for a simple phone and found this at Best Buy at about half the price of ATT store.

Bought the phone for my elder father and he has been able to use the phone without many problems. He's able to text and obtain and take photos and emails.

This makes a great phone for a Kid as it's cheap and works as expected. This way it teaches them they need to be careful with it and not lose it:) the only concern i have is the keyboard getting damaged since there is no case for it, but we will see.
