in comparison to my pheonix 3 this phone has several flaws, for instance i can not determine which text messages are new vs the old ones because it doesnt highlight the unread messages! I can not pre schedule sending messages on particular dates and times. also this phone doesnt allow you to save apps to your SDXC Card, nor does it allow you to fully uninstall the apps you really dont want that are bundled into the phone....

I am sold on ZTE phones. My phone for the last year was a Zmax 2. It recently quit charging on me and a new battery didn't help. I picked up this Blade Spark. It is excellent. Screen is the same beautiful Gorilla Glass as the Zmax 2. With a faster processor and the same 2 gigs of ram it is lightning fast. Call quality is great. And the fingerprint scanner works perfectly once you get the hang of where to place your finger to get the phone to unlock. There are plenty of cheap cases available.
One thing is I thought I had a bad phone with the phone not waking up from a black screen at times. It was a corrupted Micro SD card. I pulled the card and phone worked perfectly. I added a fresh Micro SD card and have had zero issues in the month I have owned it.
For the price these ZTE phones are full of features and very affordable. Buy one, you won't regret it.

I have had this phone for about a month now for me it's a love-hate situation because I have to have like 50 apps downloaded I demand a lot of memory this phone pretty much gets the job done at first it would not stay logged on to my home Wi-Fi without having to put the password back in every time it would not recognize it but I think I fixed that I do a factory data reset it's just a very sensitive fun if you accidentally even breathe on one of the buttons all kinds of stuff is going too open up.
You have to be very careful about hitting the wrong button or you will find yourself closing unnecessary apps that you didn't mean to open the camera is very good it also has a fingerprint reader I made the mistake of allowing the new update download 7.11 I should have tried the old one first just because there's a new Android update it doesn't mean that it's better than the one that you're using or that you have to download it you will always have a chance to download it later I recommend you read up on what other people are saying about that Android version because I think it's very hard to go back.
I would recommend this to someone else for the price and the features you cannot beat it you're getting $250 from features for a hundred bucks or less line with my blade was on sale for $69 when I got it

At&t has so much unremovable bloatware on this phone it is ridiculous! I don't like that at all, especially being forced to have Facebook apps on there that I can't take off. I do like a lot of things about the phone, but the 16gb internal storage is a LIE! I switched from iPhone because if the storage limitations Over half of the 16gb on the Spark is taken up by preinstalled junk that you cannot remove or move to an SD card. If you're a rooter I guess you can, but I'm not and don't want to brick my phone
Hardly any apps can be stored on an SD card, even if you configure it as internal storage (which I did). To be honest, I regret getting this phone because of all that.

This phone is great. It's not the most powerful or the most pretty, but this thing is awesome. The screen is vibrant and large, powered by usb c and even has a fingerprint scanner on the back! Haven't tested the camera much, but I have little interest in that. But what's even cooler is that his is VR compatible. You can put this into a google cardboard and have some fun. Only issue I have is that the battery isnt removable, but with it being a prepaid, it's not to expensive to replace the whole phone

I just bought this phone today and apparently BestBuy just released it today. The phone has great features and is everything i'm looking for, so I purchased it. I wish I would have known that no retailer (even Amazon or Ebay) would have a case to protect it. I have tried everything and cannot even substitute another company's case because either the volume button, speak or camera is covered. I find it to be rather ignorant to release a phone without ANY accessories to protect it. I have no idea how i'm going to protect it from being scratched, dropped, etc. I even tried contacting At&t and they were not even aware the phone existed. Someone should have been prepared.

For some reason signal strength is bad on this phone in my home and in other places. My old phone had good service in the same places. All others in my family have good signal as well. Blue tooth never reconnects to my car audio unless i turn BT off then back on. Emailed ZTE for help and told me to go to my carrier and my car manual to fix problems. Love to return the phone but past the return date.

$99?? 5.5" HD Display, 2GB Ram, Expandable storage and usb type c? You don't find these features in a phone for a hundred dollars. Not only that but It's also running the latest version of Android. Just buy it!

Dependable durable workhorse of a phone

This phone has not given me any problems. even with no case this phone has taken some brutal falls with no cracks or loss of function. Charges just as quickly and easily from other chargers other than the original wall wart, everything from laptops to usb car chargers. I would give it a 4.5 rating if possible. Have to keep in mind I'm rating it on a curve against other midrange unlocked phones and prepaid phones. This still can't compare to the phones you get with post paid service. That being said I would deduct half a point for the washed out display colors and no USB OTG capability. Don't forget this uses a USB-C cable. Be sure you keep one with you. They are not readily available in most retail stores.

First one I bought died less then 2 hours after buying ( Blue screen of death) Went back next day got new phone for free. 2ND one died a few days ago and I refuse to go back and ask for a refund due to I hate looking like the bad guy. I will not buy any ZTE products in the future. I did like the big screen but hated the 1.4GB ram it used to run apps that i could not delete. Will be going to best buy to buy a Samsung.

I had the original ZTE and then I guess they updated the phone and I had to get this newer one. Well this thing is dumb. It closes out of apps I'm obviously on. Its cheap phone so you get what you pay for.

Worst phone I have ever owned. The old blue Nokia's had more RAM and memory than this embarrassment.
