Customers value the VCS 800 All-in Bundle's RAM upgradeability and flexibility, frequently citing its ability to expand storage and function as a mini PC. However, many find the price point to be high and express concerns about the limited game library and occasional performance issues. Some users also note the system's fan noise.

I purchased this mostly for nostalgia reasons. The games and controllers work really well. I have also used this device for a Zoom call by adding a camera and keyboard to it and it performed wonderfully. I hope space invaders and some Activision games will be available for this console in the near future. I hope the best for the future of this company.

I am not sure how I feel about this game system. I gave it 4 stars because of the nostalgia. However, the system is not very intuitive and the support is practically non-existent. I found more help from Discord servers than Atari itself. This is definitely not the experience I had with Atari growing up.

Not worth the price of at all. Get a PS5 or XBSX

This console is not worth the money at all when you can purchase a PS5 digital edition (if you can find one) for the same price. I'm not really sure who this is for minus a collector. It was so underwhelming that I had to return it. The exclusives are old atari games and it really does nothing that can't be done on an XBSX or PS5.

Was definitely pleasantly surprised with this thing. The games are fun, not too too expensive, and they harken back to a much simpler time. I found myself playing on my Atari for hours.

I use it mainly as a PC with Steam installed. With 16gbs of ram, you can pump out 60fps on most games.

It’s a classic gaming and streaming machine. Plus it’s a PC. I love it! The price may be a little bit steep. But it does so much!

Well it looks cool. The atari store doesnt get many new games and its a bit of a hassle to buy anything through the shop. It seems to run slower than any other device via wifi(downloads, browsing, etc.) Overall it does come with a decent free gaming service (Antstream), and 100 classic atari titles. PC mode is generally how i use this device, the Atari OS is lacking for my preferences.

Great system for nostalgia. The store ads a new 7800 game for $3 every Friday along with others new games. It’s great for when you just want to play games for 20-30 min when you don’t have a lot of spare time to spend hours and hours on a more modern game. If you’re a fan of the older retro systems, this will be a good one for you.

Fun machine to tinker with. Was clearly built to customize. However, it would be nice if you didn’t have to spend a few hours researching online how to update/unlock bios.

Atari VCS is a decent console for those reminiscing the old game days. Outside of that nostalgia, there's really not a whole lot with this system that it has to offer unless you customize it internally so that it can run Steam, or Epic. The controller setup was a little weird, to connect it you needed to plug it in and update it and it should then recognize it wirelessly but for me it would not do that. Had to try it multiple times.

This thing is junk. I really tried to give it a chance, but it has ZERO redeeming qualities. Every single time I try to update it, it will freeze. In the past, I would have to connect to my mobile WiFi to get the update to install. It would not work on my FIOS WiFi, or hardwired. Now, it will not update, no matter what I do. Don't take my word. Do a web search and look at the actual reviews. I have worked in IT for 23 years and have never had the misfortune of dealing with such a poorly conceived or supported device in my life.

I’ve got to be honest, I bought this purely out of nostalgia. This was a very first gaming console. I had was the Atari 2600 and now owning this one brings back to that childhood excitement, but I haven’t been able to open to play yet it probably won’t get open till Christmas so if anything goes wrong I’ll update my review then, happy hunting!

Great retro experience! Brings back memories, the vault 1 and 2 have loads of games, antstream arcade has hundreds more. The recharged series is pumping out great games, my favorite so far is centipede recharged along with asteroids recharged. Next month we get gravatar recharged which is looking great and many more as supposed to be on the way. If you grew up playing these games you will have a blast with the system!

Waste of money

What a waste of money. I thought it would include more games for the cost but it is basically a chrome cast. You can then purchase games separately but I expected at least pac man or something other then what was loaded. You can for another annually fee get that arcade bundle but I am not willing to spend more money on disappointment.
