Customers are saying

Customers value the VCS 800 All-in Bundle's RAM upgradeability and flexibility, frequently citing its ability to expand storage and function as a mini PC. However, many find the price point to be high and express concerns about the limited game library and occasional performance issues. Some users also note the system's fan noise.

When I heard Atari was being resurrected I knew I had to get it. The retro controller, all the vintage games I grew up with, faster, more ability, modern design with the retro nuances.

Not so much a review but a question.. I have an Atari VCS and I've bought two SATA m.2's but neither of them work. Has anyone found a m.2 that works with the VCS and if you have could you tell me what brand and if Best Buy carries it? I would certainly appreciate it! I really like my VCS.. and I appreciate anyone' s help!

I think it’s pretty cool if you can get it for the right price but it’s definitely not worth $400

What a waste of money. I thought it would include more games for the cost but it is basically a chrome cast. You can then purchase games separately but I expected at least pac man or something other then what was loaded. You can for another annually fee get that arcade bundle but I am not willing to spend more money on disappointment.

I grew up with the Atari 7800 which was backward compatible with the 2600 so I really wanted to get the Atari VCS when I first heard about it. I was so pleased when Best Buy was willing to price match it for me and let me pick it up at the local store.

Really wanted to love this so bad. My main concern was the console’s inability to connect to a hotel wifi. After connecting using my phone data instead. It reloaded and tried reconnecting like 3 times before it went pass the installation updates and such. Not much to offer on the Atari game icon. A bunch of classics but couldn’t find pac-man unless I paid a monthly membership through some arcade app. The games there are great but laggy. For playing pac-man with the joystick, it’s not very responsive as what it was back in the 2600 days. I would buy this if there’s a major price drop or pac-man and other retro ganes are added with proper joystick support.

A kick in the 80's. Plus the now now. A versatile little surprise. Not only a game system, but a productivity system. Work and play.

The Atari has the option of upgrading the RAM and adding a SSD. When I added both, it crashed every time I loaded Antstream. I returned it. Even with Antstream, it's not worth $400+ dollars.

Must have for the Game room collection and especially in the Walnut edition. The onyx color is everywhere but this is a classic color to have.
