Bought media tower so I can finally store all my movies and games and was excited to find something that I thought was good enough. When I received the package at the store it seemed as if it was opened before with all that Best Buy tape on it, regardless I took it home. Opened it up and everything was fine but did notice it was a little flimsy, as I started to build it, pieces were breaking and screws were breaking off also, the middle would not stay on at all. In the end I ended up returning the product for a full refund. Terrible product, I do not recommend this at all.

I thought this storage cabinet was going to be the answer to long months of searching for a place to store my DVD's. We live in a small condo, and after 15+ years we are always looking for something small, but efficient. I'd purchased 2 smaller cabinets, but was running out of space to store my DVD's and space to put the cabinets. This cabinet seemed like the answer since it was compact. BUT.....my husband spent the entire day putting this together. It was not sturdy, so as an added measure he glued as he put screws in place, etc. Well, I called him on my way home from work. He'd just about finished it. When he hung up the phone-after about a 1 minute conversation with me he heard a crash behind him. IT FELL APART and broke in half into a million pieces. WASTE OF MONEY

I usually don't write reviews, as each person tends to experience different things that won't always apply to the next customer. However, this product upset me. I have purchased a similar product (same brand) before and it was ok. This one was extremely cheap! Instructions were simple and building was quick, but when we went to lift the stand it just broke in half. The cam lock screws ripped the plastic threading right out of the wood. It is now useless to me and I will return it. Maybe a factory default, but not worth my time to try again.

Short version: this media center is borderline junk. Long version: it will work as advertised, but barely. We bought it because it was the only large DVD storage we could find. We bought this to store our DVDs, and it will do that. However, for the price, I was expecting better. The parts are very flimsy, and it took 2 people a few hours to put it together - AFTER a trip to the hardware store. Two of the cams broke as we were putting it together, and since they seemed to be a non-standard size, we couldn't find replacements. (Also, the instructions/parts list had no contact information in case of missing parts, and no spares in case of loss or breakage.) We added some metal braces at the back to replace the cams and make the unit sturdier. Definitely plan to use the wall supports, you'll need them. Other quibbles: * The shelves are fixed - no adjusting them to make the best use of space for large box sets, or to fit in more CDs instead of DVDs. * The top shelf is sized for CDs only. DVDs will fit horizontally, but that's it. Kind of annoying.

My husband was able to put this item together with no problems at all. And the outcome is great!!. No complaints here.

Poor quality material, i have alot dvds and cds so i filled this to the max but it didn't hold up the weight and started shifting

I bought this in 2014 and am writing this in 2023. It's still an amazing stand and is still in great condition.

Great display for my movie collection, including some of my funko pops. Only thing is that mind didn’t include the wall anchor so I had to buy my own.

This is my second rack similar to this one. Same brand. I originally looked at this online and didn't look at the picture on the box in store where I purchased. After partly assembling this model I found out that the cd only rack is moved so it's in the middle of this unit. I don't know if it was recently redesigned but it's a terrible design. If your organizing things, which is probably why you bought this unit, why do you want cd's in the middle of your movie or game collection? It is a stupid redesign. It at least makes sense to have the outcast cd only shelf at the extreme top or bottom... Or extend it the extra few inches and make it another dvd rack.

When I started to put this together I saw how poor the quality was but didn't want to take it apart and lug it back to the store so I keep it and wish I didn't. You can't adust the shelves so the top you can only put cds or something small. There is more but whats the point. So I do not recommend this to anyone!!!!!!!!!

I've made a number of investments in things, but this is, by far, the worst item I have ever bought in my life. I am absolutely disgusted by this product. I spent over three hours unsuccessfully trying to construct the shelf, only for the material to begin crumbling. Worse yet, the parts do not line up, making this a VERY dangerous piece of material. Do NOT buy this. Ever.

Like most people, I wanted an inexpensive solution for organizing my massive collections of CDs, DVDs, and Blurays. I wasn't terribly picky, but I wanted something with dimensions made for media to minimize wasted space. I bought this and brought it home to assemble. Now, I am an Ikea ninja-level assembler, and normally I could do something like this in my sleep. I'm also a pretty handy guy, generally. In the process of putting this garbage tower together, it broke in three different places. The "shelves" are about as sturdy as double-layered cardboard. The back is essentially a big piece of cardboard. After it broke so many ways that I could not continue assembling it without adding several custom-made pieces, I started putting it back in the box. Honestly though, that was too kind of a fate for this corrugated betrayal. So I dragged its broken frame into my back yard to my fire pit and gave it a Viking funeral, which was still better than it deserved. At least it burned well, which is the only positive thing I can say about it.

This product is poorly implemented. The cabinet is divided in half to minimize box size and the hardware and joints are so sloppy that it is very fragile during construction and even after it is fully assembled the strength is so weak that it will likely fall apart if I ever attempt to move it. Spend a little more and get a better quality cabinet.

Bought this as a gift for my brother in law, he has about 500 movies. It is pretty heavy. It looks nice. Screw to wall for stabilization.

I like them so much i just order my fourth one to keep filling them with blurays and games quality is good and the price unbeatable

This product was not worth the price at all. I've put together entertainment centers, baby furniture, shelves and closet organizers and this by far is the cheapest made product I have ever worked with. It did not go together well and final look of the product is really cheap. I wish I would have researched other products before my purchase.

Material is too thin and a hole was punched through screwing it together. It's probably to late to bring back to the store, and is sitting in the garage in pieces taking up room. We ended up buying a very nice looking (made in the USA) piece that is much more solid and has a very pretty finish,.

This tower is in two pieces (top and bottom). It broke in half the day I put it together and stood it up. I fixed it, I thought. It was ok for about a year (kind of wobbly) then one day the top half, filled with CDs came crashing down. CDs all over, the top half in pieces.

This unit was a pain to put together. Some of the screws that hold the metal dowels actually came through the cheap particle board. Once i got it all together and went to stand it up to put on the back like the directions said the top half started to lean over, even when i had all the screws in for the back and double-checked all the dowels were locked in it still was top heavy and wanted to fall over. The shelves are not adjustable so if your only wanting to store dvds you will loose the top and bottom shelf. Very poor materials,very poor design, very poor overall.
