For Long Connections between Receiver - Projector

Great signal and easy to hide
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Our home came with an HDMI chord that wasn't 4K capable. Our DVD player is hidden and wanted to keep it that way. This unit made that possible. The unit given to us from the builder wouldn't do the job.

The device handles the HDMI signal well

Only used in place of long HDMI runs carrying 4K

This component was necessary because my audio video components were remotely located in a closet about 40 feet away. These do not have an ARC (Audio Return Channel) so unless you run a fiber optic cable that I was not made aware of by Geek Squad you cannot use the smart features on your TV. I'll now have to have Geek Squad back to my home to run a fiber optic cable for my ARC which I would have told them to do if they would have made me aware of in the consultation and quotation.

Did not solve our problem

Works flawlessly

I needed hdmi for 4K signals, but did not have the ability to run new cabling. I did have a cat 5e cable, which I was able to terminate behind tv and in home theater closet. Setup was extremely easy, plug and play. Signal quality is excellent. Would definitely recommend!
