This is a a solid wireless set of headphones from Audio Technica. I came to these from a set of Microsoft Surface headphones. I can say that I miss the USB-C connection the Surface headphones had; micro USB is annoying at this point. This may or may not bother you. I didn't count it against these headphones' score because it is a matter of personal preference. The battery life is good but it typically is with headphones in this price range. The cushions feel good when wearing them but whenever I'm putting them on or applying pressure to them there's an whooshing sound that's kind of annoying and isn't present in other headphones I've tried in the past like the aforementioned Surface Headphones or the Sennheiser PCX-550's or the Sony WH1000XM4's; also didn't count it against the headphones because it's not really a performance issue but more of a "quirk". Audio quality is good and competitive with the other headphones. The main reason this set of headphones didn't get five stars is because there is no way to set the hear-through feature on by default; you have to cup your hand over the left ear piece to activate it because it always powers on with noise canceling as the default setting. This is particularly an annoying missed opportunity given that you can even set the level of noise canceling and hear through capability with the Audio Technica Connect app.....but you can't change the default setting. (sigh)(eyeroll) I'm high lighting that in this review in hopes that Audio Technica will roll out an update with that feature because I'd be much more happy with these headphones if they did.
