Great budget cartridge!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just purchased a Pioneer turntable from the late 70's and the needle was broken on it. I was unsure if the terrible sound (like static) of my music was mostly due to the messed up needle, or if the vintage player was also to blame. I wasn't willing to take too big a risk on a fancier cartridge so the AT95E seemed like a great choice. Man, it really was! I've purchased a less expensive record player in the past, and when I played the vintage turntable and the newer (cheaper) turntable side by side using the same pre-amp listening to the same record, there was a noticeable bump up in volume of the AT95E and a rather noticeable increase in clarity! Add to that, the ease of installation, and I'm thoroughly satisfied with my purchase of this cartridge! A real winner for the money!

Solid mid level cartridge
