The turntable is easy to set-up with many fine tuning applications/features, and the device accurately reproduces and transfers the sound from the vinyl platter to the other equipment. Good model and price for the beginning to medium vinyl audiophiles. Admittedly, one should have a good receiver, equalizer, and speakers to fully appreciate what the turntable produces ... it fits my needs. RESEARCH before you buy to make sure this device and what it has to offer fit your needs.

My teenage son has been saving his money for a turntable. We looked at several brands prior to purchasing this, and though it is expensive, it’s money well spent. The sound is amazing!

The assemble was fairly easy. We did have problems once we got things set up and going. The needle was skipping around and moving up/down even on new records. We sent a video of the problem to Audio Technica service team and they decided that the turntable was warped. Within 24 hours we received a new turntable. That's the service you want! I'd highly recommend this product to friends and family. We're loving the sound of the record player.

Solid construction, video on web site helped with easy set up. Balancing of the arm took me about 5-8 minutes, but now that I understand could likely do it again in 30 seconds. High quality record player for a fair price. Having the amp in the player and ability to turn it on/off is great for just plugging in headphones with the included cabling for listening right off the record. Read the review on wirecutter and it lives up to it.

Pretty easy to set up after watching one of the many videos online. Sounds great and has many great options for the price point. The thing is a tank weight wise, which made me pick this one over the Sony, this isn't going anywhere when the bass starts thumping. Even plays in reverse so grab all your old albums to revisit the secret backwards messages our parents thought were bad.

This is probably the best turntable I have owned in a long series of turntables that began in 1970 with an Acoustic Research model. This one was very simple to assemble out of the box and by following the instructions it was calibrated and ready to use in less than half an hour. You can spend a lot more than the cost of this turntable but I doubt that the quality and performance would be noticeably better.

I bought this turntable with some hesitation, this will be my first turntable, i looked up quite a few other turntables on YouTube before hand and found that this table setup was the best bang for buck purchase. Initial setup was easy, i hooked this turntable up to my office monitor speaker and played a few records, the system sounds amazing. i was not disappointed at all. I would recommend this to friends without issue.

I bought this turntable to replace my previous one which I bought 10 years ago. It has the same features as my previous record player but feels sturdier and more solid. I bought this more for playing records and hooking it up to my receiver as opposed to using the usb and connecting to my laptop which this can also do. I am looking forward to enjoying this device for a long time.

It has been a long time since I set up a turntable, but the instructions were clear, and when followed will have you enjoying your vinyl in no time. Great feature to also have the option of sending a digital copy of your vinyl to your computer. Excellent sound, moderate price, a winner. (If you have a collection of old 78's, you will need to purchase a different stylus to play those, but the instructions are clear)

This turntable is nothing short of amazing. I gave it as a birthday gift and couldn't be more pleased. It was a breeze to assemble the few parts that didn't come pre-assembled. Within a few minutes my husband was listening to his albums again. I am really impressed with this turntable and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

When it comes to turntables, the last thing you want to do is cheap out and go with an all in one type player. Nobody likes damaging their records on a player that doesn't even sound good, which is most definitely not the case with the Audio Technica LP 120! Honestly there is so much you can do with this turntable. The amount of adjustments and upgrades that can be done to this turntable is more than enough to satisfy all of my needs. With the ability to play records backwards, I'm able to mess around with some of my records to try and discover different sounds between different artists and even some hidden messages in music. Need more features!? It doesn't end there, not only can you play the records backwards but you can play them at all the various speeds in between 33 1/3, 45, and 75 rpm using the pitch slider on the righthand side of the turntable. Oh and I can't forget to mention the ability to connect this turntable to any computer via USB in order to port all your favorite LPs onto your computer for safe keeping or sampling, for those who like to mess with music. I plan on upgrading the slip-mat on my turntable in the near future to add some personalization to the mix and of course I will upgrade the stylus later on down the road. Not to say that the stylus on this record is bad or anything, it comes out of the box in mint condition!

Perfect Turntable for Entry Level Audiophiles

I'll keep this simple. This is a great turntable with tons of features, at a decent price. It has a great cartridge on it (AT95E) and you can easily swap out cartridge heads, as well as tweak the cartridge alignment, arm alignment and height, and the anti skate. This all sounds technical but instructions are included, and there are tons of videos you can watch. This all takes about 20 minutes if that. This turntable has surpassed my expectations and even if later down the road I purchase something closer to the 700 dollar range, I will keep this as a second turntable and put it in my office, hook up some powered speakers and now you have an amazing easy setup. Yeah, this thing has a built in pre-amp. You will read online that it's awful and you should take it out(which you can) but I didn't find it too bad, and I ended up just turning it off and buying a cheap external pre amp and hooking it to that. I could have left it but wanted the ability to control the gain so I went this route, either way you will be fine. Overall, this is a great turntable to do a simple set up hooking it to two powered speakers(make sure they are powered) or going the passive route(which I did) and run it through a receiver, and off to a couple of speakers. I hooked it up to a Yamaha, and some Klipsh speakers. It's a great set up. I would say if you are ready to dip your toe, or even a foot into the audiophile world of record playing, you shouldn't hesitate to pick up this turntable.

Great value when bough at the sale price of $199. Don't listen to the bad reviews that you might read, the quality and build of the unit is second to none for the price. Setting up the TT is a breeze. Audio quality is top notch if it I paired with a capable receiver and some quality speakers. I would not hesitate to buy again or recommend to friends.

I bought this to replace a dying Dual that I had. The sound quality playing through my Marantz 1060b is excellent. I love the vintage look and the solid feel of it. I would strongly recommend this for someone getting back into vinyl as it is a great midrange turntable for the price. If you look up any online reviews of "Best Turntables" this always makes the list.
