Highly recommend by "Experts" for price range. Platter cover, tone arm and cartridge looked cheap. Unfortunately, the box didn't contain advertised instructions, connection cables nor recording software...so, was unable to actually play or test functionality. Great "in store" customer service and easy return. Not impressed with physical quality of the Audio Technica product.

For someone wishing to be introduced to the world of vinyl records, this Audio-Technica turntable is an excellent introduction. The unit is sleek and it sounds good. For the non purist, the MP3 conversion via USB is handy.

I realized when I went searching for a needle for the turntable I had, that it was over 20 years old! So I couldn't say if a more expensive one would sound better since anything newer was an improvement. But I like this turntable, and I like that the replacement needles are available at Best Buy too, for now anyways.

Have started buying vinyl again as well as having a collection of these. As I had no turntable retained after going to CDs, I purchased this unit and am pleased with ease of connection to my 7 ch system and functionality. Great value.

Easy hookup. Sounds great when played thru Bose speakers also available at Best Buy. A must for those still holding on to your old vinyl.

This is an awsome turntable. It connects to my stereo receiver easily. Also connects to my laptop easily. The Audacity software works great. I finally am able to convert my 1970's & 1980's LP's to mp3 files so I can put onto my ipod. Freakin great.

Works well to transfer vinyl to digital files, which was why I bought it. If you want something with more "bells & whistles", like pitch control, you'll want to spend a little more. This works great for what I bought it for.

It's great for playing those albums I almost forgot I had. And now, I'm looking for more vinyl... I'm hooked!
